Psalms 128

1 A song of degrees. Blessed is euery one that feareth the Lord and walketh in his wayes.

سرود زائران به هنگام بالا رفتن به اورشلیم. خوشا به حال کسی که خداوند را گرامی می‌دارد و از راههای او پیروی می‌کند.

2 When thou eatest the labours of thine hands, thou shalt be blessed, and it shall be well with thee.

حاصل دسترنج او پربرکت خواهد بود و او مبارک و کامیاب خواهد شد.

3 Thy wife shalbe as the fruitfull vine on the sides of thine house, and thy children like the oliue plantes round about thy table.

زن او در خانه‌اش همچون درخت انگور پرثمر خواهد بود. فرزندانش مانند نهالهای زیتون قوی و سالم، به دور سفره‌اش خواهند نشست.

4 Lo, surely thus shall the man be blessed, that feareth the Lord.

این است پاداش خداوند به کسی که او را گرامی می‌دارد.

5 The Lord out of Zion shall blesse thee, and thou shalt see the wealth of Ierusalem all the dayes of thy life.

خداوند تو را از صهیون برکت دهد! باشد که تو در تمام روزهای زندگانیت شاهد سعادت اورشلیم باشی!

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy childrens children, and peace vpon Israel.

باشد که تو عمر دراز کنی و نوه‌های خود را ببینی! صلح و سلامتی بر اسرائیل باد!
