Psalms 128

1 A song of degrees. Blessed is euery one that feareth the Lord and walketh in his wayes.

Cantico di Maalot BEATO chiunque teme il Signore, [E] cammina nelle sue vie.

2 When thou eatest the labours of thine hands, thou shalt be blessed, and it shall be well with thee.

Perciocchè tu mangerai della fatica delle tue mani; Tu [sarai] beato, ed egli ti [sarà] bene.

3 Thy wife shalbe as the fruitfull vine on the sides of thine house, and thy children like the oliue plantes round about thy table.

La tua moglie [sarà] dentro della tua casa Come una vigna fruttifera; I tuoi figliuoli [saranno] d'intorno alla tua tavola, Come piante novelle di ulivi.

4 Lo, surely thus shall the man be blessed, that feareth the Lord.

Ecco, certamente così sarà benedetto L'uomo che teme il Signore.

5 The Lord out of Zion shall blesse thee, and thou shalt see the wealth of Ierusalem all the dayes of thy life.

Il Signore ti benedirà di Sion; E tu vedrai il bene di Gerusalemme Tutti i giorni della tua vita;

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy childrens children, and peace vpon Israel.

E vedrai i figliuoli de' tuoi figliuoli. Pace [sia] sopra Israele.
