Psalms 126

1 A song of degrees, or Psalme of David. When ye Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them that dreame.

Um Canto de Ascensões. Quando Yahweh trouxe de volta aqueles que retornaram a Zion, éramos como aqueles que sonham.

2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

Então nossa boca ficou cheia de gargalhadas, e nossa língua com cantoria. Então eles disseram entre as nações, “Yahweh tem feito grandes coisas por eles”.

3 The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.

Yahweh tem feito grandes coisas por nós, e estamos felizes.

4 O Lord, bring againe our captiuitie, as the riuers in the South.

Restaurar nossa fortuna novamente, Yahweh, como as correntes no Negev.

5 They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.

Those que semeia em lágrimas colherá em alegria.

6 They went weeping and caried precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.

Aquele que sai chorando, carregando sementes para semear, com certeza voltará com alegria, carregando seus roldanas.
