< Psalms 126 >
1 A song of degrees, or Psalme of David. When ye Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them that dreame.
canticum graduum in convertendo Dominum captivitatem Sion facti sumus sicut consolati
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
tunc repletum est gaudio os nostrum et lingua nostra exultatione tunc dicent inter gentes magnificavit Dominus facere cum eis
3 The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.
magnificavit Dominus facere nobiscum facti sumus laetantes
4 O Lord, bring againe our captiuitie, as the riuers in the South.
converte Domine captivitatem nostram sicut torrens in austro
5 They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.
qui seminant in lacrimis in exultatione metent
6 They went weeping and caried precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.
euntes ibant et flebant portantes semina sua venientes autem venient in exultatione portantes manipulos suos
