Psalms 125

1 A song of degrees. They that trust in the Lord, shalbe as mount Zion, which can not be remooued, but remaineth for euer.

Ein Stufenlied. Die auf Jehova vertrauen, sind gleich dem Berge Zion, der nicht wankt, der ewiglich bleibt.

2 As the mountaines are about Ierusalem: so is the Lord about his people from henceforth and for euer.

Jerusalem, Berge sind rings um sie her: so ist Jehova rings um sein Volk, von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.

3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous, least the righteous put forth their hand vnto wickednes.

Denn die Rute der Gesetzlosigkeit wird auf dem Lose der Gerechten nicht ruhen, damit die Gerechten ihre Hände nicht ausstrecken nach Unrecht.

4 Doe well, O Lord, vnto those that be good and true in their hearts.

Tue Gutes, Jehova, den Guten und denen, die aufrichtig sind in ihren Herzen!

5 But these that turne aside by their crooked wayes, them shall the Lord leade with the workers of iniquitie: but peace shalbe vpon Israel.

Die aber auf ihre krummen Wege abbiegen, die wird Jehova dahinfahren lassen mit denen, welche Frevel tun. Wohlfahrt über Israel!
