Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala. Lwa Dawudi. Nasanyuka bwe baŋŋamba nti, “Tugende mu nnyumba ya Mukama!”
2 Our feete shall stand in thy gates, O Ierusalem.
Ebigere byaffe biyimiridde mu miryango gyo, Ayi Yerusaalemi.
3 Ierusalem is builded as a citie, that is compact together in it selfe:
Yerusaalemi yazimbibwa okuba ekibuga ekinywevu ekiyimiridde awamu.
4 Whereunto the Tribes, euen the Tribes of the Lord go vp according to the testimonie to Israel, to prayse the Name of the Lord.
Eyo ebika byonna gye biraga, ebika bya Mukama, okutendereza erinnya lya Mukama ng’ebiragiro ebyaweebwa Isirayiri bwe biri.
5 For there are thrones set for iudgement, euen the thrones of the house of Dauid.
Eyo entebe ez’okusalirako emisango gye zaateekebwa; z’entebe ez’obwakabaka ez’ennyumba ya Dawudi.
6 Pray for the peace of Ierusalem: let them prosper that loue thee.
Musabirenga Yerusaalemi emirembe: “Abo abakwagala bafune ebirungi.
7 Peace be within thy walles, and prosperitie within thy palaces.
Emirembe gibeerenga munda w’ebisenge byo; n’amayumba go amanene gabeerenga n’omukisa era nga manywevu.”
8 For my brethren and neighbours sakes I will wish thee now prosperitie.
Olwa baganda bange ne mikwano gyange nnaayogeranga nti, “Emirembe gibeerenga mu ggwe.”
9 Because of the House of the Lord our God, I will procure thy wealth.
Olw’obulungi bw’ennyumba ya Mukama Katonda waffe, nnaanoonyanga okukulaakulana kwa Yerusaalemi.
