Psalms 121

1 A song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.

Um Canto de Ascensões. Levantarei meus olhos para as colinas. De onde vem minha ajuda?

2 Mine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.

Minha ajuda vem de Yahweh, que fizeram o céu e a terra.

3 He wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.

Ele não permitirá que seu pé seja movimentado. Aquele que o mantém não vai dormir.

4 Beholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.

Veja, aquele que mantém Israel não adormecerá nem dormirá.

5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.

Yahweh é seu guardião. Yahweh é sua sombra à sua mão direita.

6 The sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.

O sol não lhe fará mal durante o dia, nem a lua à noite.

7 The Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.

Yahweh irá mantê-lo longe de todo o mal. Ele manterá sua alma.

8 The Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.

Yahweh vai manter sua saída e sua entrada, a partir deste momento, e para sempre mais.
