< Psalms 120 >
1 A song of degrees. I called vnto the Lord in my trouble, and hee heard me.
Yon chanson pou monte vè tanp lan Nan gran twoub mwen an, mwen te kriye a SENYÈ a. Li te reponn mwen.
2 Deliuer my soule, O Lord, from lying lippes, and from a deceitfull tongue.
Delivre nanm mwen, O SENYÈ, de lèv k ap bay desepsyon, de lang ki plen manti yo.
3 What doeth thy deceitfull tongue bring vnto thee? or what doeth it auaile thee?
Kisa pou W ta resevwa, e kisa pou m ta fè ou, O lang mansonjè?
4 It is as the sharpe arrowes of a mightie man, and as the coales of iuniper.
Flèch pwent file a gèrye yo, avèk chabon pye gayak tou limen.
5 Woe is to me that I remaine in Meschech, and dwell in the tentes of Kedar.
Malè a mwen, paske mwen demere nan tant a Méschec, Paske mwen rete pami tant a Kédar yo!
6 My soule hath too long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
Nanm mwen gen demè li avèk (sila) ki rayi lapè yo pandan twòp tan.
7 I seeke peace, and when I speake thereof, they are bent to warre.
Mwen vle lapè, men lè m pale, se lagè yo pito.
