1 A song of degrees. I called vnto the Lord in my trouble, and hee heard me.
Ka khuikha awh Bawipa ce khy nyng saw, anih ing nim hlat law hy.
2 Deliuer my soule, O Lord, from lying lippes, and from a deceitfull tongue.
Aw Bawipa, qaai ak kqawn huikhqi ingkaw qaai kqawn na ak nget laikhqi anglakawhkawng ni hul lah.
3 What doeth thy deceitfull tongue bring vnto thee? or what doeth it auaile thee?
Aw qaai kqawn na ak nget hui lai nang, nang ak khan awh anih ing ikaw a sai kaw, cekcoengawh ikaw ak awm bai?
4 It is as the sharpe arrowes of a mightie man, and as the coales of iuniper.
Kaw ak awmkhqi a la sumkhqi ing nang ce ni toel kawmsaw, imnawt thing mai alh ing ni toel kaw.
5 Woe is to me that I remaine in Meschech, and dwell in the tentes of Kedar.
Kedar awhkaw hi im anglakawh awm nawh, Meshqek awh ak awm ve kai aham khaw map mah hy!
6 My soule hath too long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

7 I seeke peace, and when I speake thereof, they are bent to warre.
