< Psalms 120 >

1 A song of degrees. I called vnto the Lord in my trouble, and hee heard me.
Kasang laa. Patang ka khang naah Angraeng to ka kawk, ka kawkhaih lok to anih mah ang pathim.
2 Deliuer my soule, O Lord, from lying lippes, and from a deceitfull tongue.
Aw Angraeng, amsawnlok thuihaih pahninawk hoi alinghaih palainawk thung hoiah na pahlong ah.
3 What doeth thy deceitfull tongue bring vnto thee? or what doeth it auaile thee?
Aw aling thaih palai nang, kawbaktih danpaekhaih maw nang paek han? To tih ai boeh loe na nuiah timaw ka sak han?
4 It is as the sharpe arrowes of a mightie man, and as the coales of iuniper.
Nang loe thacak kami ih kasum palaa hoi hmai kamngaeh thing hoiah thuitaek han oh.
5 Woe is to me that I remaine in Meschech, and dwell in the tentes of Kedar.
Kedar ih kahni im ah ka oh moe, Meshek ah ka oh pongah, kai han khosak bingh!
6 My soule hath too long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
Ka hinghaih hnuma moe, angdaehhaih hnuma kami hoi nawnto ohhaih atue sawk parai boeh.
7 I seeke peace, and when I speake thereof, they are bent to warre.
Kai loe angdaehhaih koeh kami ah ka oh; toe lok ka thuih naah, nihcae loe misa angcoenghaih to koeh o lat.
