Psalms 12

1 To him that excelleth upon the eight tune. A Psalme of Dauid. Helpe Lord, for there is not a godly man left: for the faithfull are fayled from among the children of men.

১হে যিহোৱা সহায় কৰা; তোমাৰ ভক্তসকল নোহোৱা হ’ল; বিশ্বাসীসকল মনুষ্যৰ মাজৰ পৰা অদৃশ্য হৈ গ’ল।

2 They speake deceitfully euery one with his neighbour, flattering with their lips, and speake with a double heart.

২মানুহে মানুহৰ ওচৰত মিছা কথা কয়; তেওঁলোকে তৈলমৰ্দনকাৰী ওঁঠ আৰু ছলনা ভৰা দুই মনৰ অন্তৰেৰে কথা কয়।

3 The Lord cut off all flattering lippes, and the tongue that speaketh proude things:

৩তেওঁলোকৰ তৈলমোদী ওঁঠ আৰু ভীষণ গর্বিত জিভাক যেন যিহোৱাই কাটি পেলায়;

4 Which haue saide, With our tongue will we preuaile: our lippes are our owne: who is Lord ouer vs?

৪সেই সকলে কয়, “আমাৰ জিভাৰেই আমি জয় কৰিম; আমাৰ ওঁঠ যেতিয়া আমাৰ নিজৰেই, কোন আমাৰ ওপৰত প্ৰভু হ’ব?”

5 Now for the oppression of the needy, and for the sighes of the poore, I will vp, sayeth the Lord, and will set at libertie him, whom the wicked hath snared.

৫যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “দুখীসকলৰ উপদ্ৰৱ আৰু অভাৱীসকলৰ কেঁকনিৰ কাৰণে মই এতিয়া জাগি উঠিম। নিৰাপত্তা কামনা কৰা সকলক মই নিৰাপদে ৰাখিম।”

6 The wordes of the Lord are pure wordes, as the siluer, tried in a fornace of earth, fined seuen folde.

৬যিহোৱাৰ প্রতিজ্ঞাবোৰ বিশুদ্ধ। সেইবোৰ যেন মাটিত বহোৱা এক অগ্নিশালত শোধন কৰা ৰূপ; সাতবাৰকৈ বিশুদ্ধ কৰা ৰূপ।

7 Thou wilt keepe them, O Lord: thou wilt preserue him from this generation for euer.

৭হে যিহোৱা, তুমিয়েই আমাক নিৰাপদে ৰাখিবা। এই কালৰ লোকসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা চিৰকাল আমাক ৰক্ষা কৰিবা।

8 The wicked walke on euery side: when they are exalted, it is a shame for the sonnes of men.

৮লোকসকলৰ মাজত যেতিয়া দুষ্টতা আদৰণীয় হয়, দুষ্টবোৰে তেতিয়া বিনা বাধাই চাৰিওফালে ঘূৰি ফুৰে।
