Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
[Álefe]: Bem-aventurados são os puros em [seus] caminhos, os que andam na lei do SENHOR.
2 Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
Bem-aventurados são os que guardam os testemunhos dele, [e] o buscam com todo o coração;
3 Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
E não praticam perversidade, [mas] andam nos caminhos dele.
4 Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
Tu mandaste que teus mandamentos fossem cuidadosamente obedecidos.
5 Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
Ah! Como gostaria que meus caminhos fossem dirigidos a guardar teus estatutos!
6 Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
Então não me envergonharia, quando eu observasse todos os teus mandamentos.
7 I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
Louvarei a ti com um coração correto, enquanto aprendo os juízos de tua justiça.
8 I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
Eu guardarei teus estatutos; não me abandones por completo.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
[Bete]: Com que um rapaz purificará o seu caminho? Sendo obediente conforme a tua palavra.
10 With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
Eu te busco como todo o meu coração; não me deixes desviar de teus mandamentos.
11 I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
Guardei a tua palavra em meu coração, para eu não pecar contra ti.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
Bendito [és] tu, SENHOR; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
13 With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
Com meus lábios contei todos os juízos de tua boca.
14 I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
Eu me alegro mais com o caminho de teus estatutos, do que com todas as riquezas.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
Meditarei em teus mandamentos, e darei atenção aos teus caminhos.
16 I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
Terei prazer em teus estatutos; não me esquecerei de tua palavra.
17 GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
[Guímel]: Trata bem o teu servo, [para] que eu viva, e obedeça tua palavra.
18 Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
Abre meus olhos, para que eu veja as maravilhas de tua lei.
19 I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
Eu sou peregrino na terra, não escondas de mim os teus mandamentos.
20 Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
Minha alma está despedaçada de tanto desejar os teus juízos em todo tempo.
21 Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
Tu repreendes aos malditos arrogantes, que se desviam de teus mandamentos.
22 Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
Tira-me de minha humilhação e desprezo, pois eu guardei teus testemunhos.
23 Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
Até mesmo os príncipes se sentaram, e falaram contra mim; porém o teu servo estava meditando em teus estatutos.
24 Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
Pois teus testemunhos são meus prazeres [e] meus conselheiros.
25 DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
[Dálete]: Minha alma está grudada ao pó; vivifica-me conforme tua palavra.
26 I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
Eu [te] contei os meus caminhos, e tu me respondeste; ensina-me conforme teus estatutos.
27 Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
Faze-me entender o caminho de teus preceitos, para eu falar de tuas maravilhas.
28 My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
Minha alma se derrama de tristeza; levanta-me conforme tua palavra.
29 Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
Desvia de mim o caminho de falsidade; e sê piedoso dando-me tua lei.
30 I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
Eu escolhi o caminho da fidelidade; e pus [diante de mim] os teus juízos.
31 I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
Estou apegado a teus testemunhos; ó SENHOR, não me envergonhes.
32 I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
Correrei pelo caminho de teus mandamentos, porque tu alargaste o meu coração.
33 HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
[Hê]: Ensina-me, SENHOR, o caminho de teus estatutos, e eu o guardarei até o fim.
34 Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
Dá-me entendimento, e eu guardarei a tua lei, e a obedecerei de todo [o meu] coração.
35 Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
Faze-me andar na trilha de teus mandamentos, porque nela tenho prazer.
36 Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
Inclina meu coração a teus testemunhos, e não à ganância.
37 Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
Desvia meus olhos para que não olhem para coisas inúteis; vivifica-me pelo teu caminho.
38 Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
Confirma tua promessa a teu servo, que tem temor a ti.
39 Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
Desvia de mim a humilhação que eu tenho medo, pois teus juízos são bons.
40 Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
Eis que amo os teus mandamentos; vivifica-me por tua justiça.
41 VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
[Vau]: E venham sobre mim tuas bondades, SENHOR; [e também] a tua salvação, segundo tua promessa.
42 So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
Para que eu tenha resposta ao que me insulta; pois eu confio em tua palavra.
43 And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
E nunca tires de minha boca a palavra da verdade, pois eu espero em teus juízos.
44 So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
Assim obedecerei a tua lei continuamente, para todo o sempre.
45 And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
E andarei [livremente] por longas distâncias, pois busquei teus preceitos.
46 I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
Também falarei de teus testemunhos perante reis, e não me envergonharei.
47 And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
E terei prazer em teus mandamentos, que eu amo.
48 Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
E levantarei as minhas mãos a teus mandamentos, que eu amo; e meditarei em teus estatutos.
49 ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
[Záin]: Lembra-te da palavra [dada] a teu servo, à qual mantenho esperança.
50 It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
Isto é meu consolo na minha aflição, porque tua promessa me vivifica.
51 The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
Os arrogantes têm zombado de mim demasiadamente; [porém] não me desviei de tua lei.
52 I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
Eu me lembrei de teus juízos muito antigos, SENHOR; e [assim] me consolei.
53 Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
Eu me enchi de ira por causa dos perversos, que abandonam tua lei.
54 Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
Teus estatutos foram meus cânticos no lugar de minhas peregrinações.
55 I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
De noite tenho me lembrado de teu nome, SENHOR; e tenho guardado tua lei.
56 This I had because I kept thy precepts.
Isto eu tenho feito, porque guardo teus mandamentos.
57 CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
[Hete]: O SENHOR é minha porção; eu disse que guardaria tuas palavras.
58 I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
Busquei a tua face com todo o [meu] coração; tem piedade de mim segundo tua palavra.
59 I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
Eu dei atenção a meus caminhos, e dirigi meus pés a teus testemunhos.
60 I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
Eu me apressei, e não demorei a guardar os teus mandamentos.
61 The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
Bandos de perversos me roubaram; [porém] não me esqueci de tua lei.
62 At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
No meio da noite eu me levanto para te louvar, por causa dos juízos de tua justiça.
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
Sou companheiro de todos os que te temem, e dos que guardam os teus mandamentos.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
A terra está cheia de tua bondade, SENHOR; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
65 TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
[Tete]: Tu fizeste bem a teu servo, SENHOR, conforme tua palavra.
66 Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
Ensina-me bom senso e conhecimento, pois tenho crido em teus mandamentos.
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
Antes de ter sido afligido, eu andava errado; mas agora guardo tua palavra.
68 Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
Tu és bom, e fazes o bem; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
69 The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
Os arrogantes forjaram mentiras contra mim; [mas] eu com todo o [meu] coração guardo os teus mandamentos.
70 Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
O coração deles se incha como gordura; [mas] eu tenho prazer em tua lei.
71 It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
Foi bom pra mim ter sido afligido, para assim eu aprender os teus estatutos.
72 The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
Melhor para mim é a lei de tua boca, do que milhares de [peças] de ouro ou prata.
73 IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
[Iode]: Tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; faze-me ter entendimento, para que eu aprenda teus mandamentos.
74 So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
Os que te temem olham para mim e se alegram, porque eu mantive esperança em tua palavra.
75 I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
Eu sei, SENHOR, que teus juízos são justos; e que tu me afligiste [por] tua fidelidade.
76 I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
Seja agora tua bondade para me consolar, segundo a promessa [que fizeste] a teu servo.
77 Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
Venham tuas misericórdias sobre mim, para que eu viva; pois tua lei é o meu prazer.
78 Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
Sejam envergonhados os arrogantes, porque eles me prejudicaram com mentiras; [porém] eu medito em teus mandamentos.
79 Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
Virem-se a mim os que te temem e conhecem os teus testemunhos.
80 Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
Seja meu coração correto em teus estatutos, para eu não ser envergonhado.
81 CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
[Cafe]: Minha alma desfalece por tua salvação; em tua palavra mantenho esperança.
82 Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
Meus olhos desfaleceram por tua promessa, enquanto eu dizia: Quando tu me consolarás?
83 For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
Porque fiquei como um odre na fumaça, [porém] não me esqueci teus testemunhos.
84 Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
Quantos serão os dias de teu servo? Quando farás julgamento aos meus perseguidores?
85 The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
Os arrogantes me cavaram covas, aqueles que não são conforme a tua lei.
86 All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
Todos os teus mandamentos são verdade; com mentiras me perseguem; ajuda-me.
87 They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
Estou quase que destruído por completo sobre a terra; porém eu não deixei teus mandamentos.
88 Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
Vivifica-me conforme tua bondade, então guardarei o testemunho de tua boca.
89 LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
[Lâmede]: Para sempre, SENHOR, tua palavra permanece nos céus.
90 Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
Tua fidelidade [dura] de geração em geração; tu firmaste a terra, e [assim] ela permanece.
91 They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
Elas continuam por tuas ordens até hoje, porque todos são teus servos.
92 Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
Se a tua lei não fosse meu prazer, eu já teria perecido em minha aflição.
93 I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
Nunca esquecerei de teus mandamentos, porque tu me vivificaste por eles.
94 I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
Eu sou teu, salva-me, porque busquei teus preceitos.
95 The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
Os perversos me esperaram, para me destruírem; [porém] eu dou atenção a teus testemunhos.
96 I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
A toda perfeição eu vi fim; [mas] teu mandamento é extremamente grande.
97 MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
[Mem]: Ah, como eu amo a tua lei! O dia todo eu medito nela.
98 By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
Ela me faz mais sábio do que meus inimigos [por meio de] teus mandamentos, porque ela está sempre comigo.
99 I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
Sou mais inteligente que todos os meus instrutores, porque medito em teus testemunhos.
100 I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
Sou mais prudente que os anciãos, porque guardei teus mandamentos.
101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.
Afastei meus pés de todo mau caminho, para guardar tua palavra.
102 I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
Não me desviei de teus juízos, porque tu me ensinaste.
103 Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
Como são doces tuas palavras ao meu paladar! Mais que o mel em minha boca.
104 By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
Obtenho conhecimento por meio de teus preceitos; por isso odeio todo caminho de mentira.
105 NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
[Nun]: Tua palavra é lâmpada para meus pés e luz para meu caminho.
106 I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
Eu jurei, e [assim] cumprirei, de guardar os juízos de tua justiça.
107 I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
Eu estou muito aflito, SENHOR; vivifica-me conforme a tua palavra.
108 O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
Agrada-te das ofertas voluntárias de minha boca, SENHOR; e ensina-me teus juízos.
109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
Continuamente arrisco minha alma, porém não me esqueço de tua lei.
110 The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
Os perversos me armaram um laço de armadilha, mas não me desviei de teus mandamentos.
111 Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
Tomei teus testemunhos por herança para sempre, pois eles são a alegria de meu coração.
112 I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
Inclinei meu coração para praticar os teus testemunhos para todo o sempre.
113 SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
[Sâmeque]: Odeio os inconstantes, mas amo a tua lei.
114 Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
Tu és meu refúgio e meu escudo; eu espero em tua palavra.
115 Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
Afastai-vos de mim, malfeitores, para que eu guarde os mandamentos de meu Deus.
116 Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
Sustenta-me conforme a tua promessa, para que eu viva; e não me faças ser humilhado em minha esperança.
117 Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
Segura-me, e estarei protegido; então continuamente pensarei em teus estatutos.
118 Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
Tu atropelas a todos que se desviam de teus estatutos; pois o engano deles é mentira.
119 Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
Tu tiras a todos os perversos da terra como [se fossem] lixo; por isso eu amo teus testemunhos.
120 My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
Meu corpo se arrepia de medo de ti; e temo os teus juízos.
121 AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
[Áin]: Eu fiz juízo e justiça; não me abandones com os meus opressores.
122 Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
Sê tu a garantia do bem de teu servo; não me deixes ser oprimido pelos arrogantes.
123 Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
Meus olhos desfaleceram [de esperar] por tua salvação, e pela palavra de tua justiça.
124 Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
Age para com teu servo segundo tua bondade, e ensina-me teus estatutos.
125 I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
Eu sou teu servo. Dá-me entendimento; então conhecerei teus testemunhos.
126 It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
É tempo do SENHOR agir, porque estão violando tua lei.
127 Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
Por isso eu amo teus mandamentos mais que o ouro, o mais fino ouro.
128 Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
Por isso considero corretos todos os [teus] mandamentos quanto a tudo, e odeio todo caminho de falsidade.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
[Pê]: Maravilhosos são teus testemunhos, por isso minha alma os guarda.
130 The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.
A entrada de tuas palavras dá luz, dando entendimento aos simples.
131 I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.
Abri minha boca, e respirei; porque desejei teus mandamentos.
132 Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
Olha-me, e tem piedade de mim; conforme [teu] costume para com os que amam o teu nome.
133 Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
Firma meus passos em tua palavra, e que nenhuma perversidade me domine.
134 Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
Resgata-me da opressão dos homens; então guardarei teus mandamentos.
135 Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
Brilha teu rosto sobre teu servo, e ensina-me teus estatutos.
136 Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
Ribeiros d'água descem de meus olhos, porque eles não guardam tua lei.
137 TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
[Tsadê]: Tu és justo, SENHOR; e corretos são teus juízos.
138 Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
Tu ensinaste teus testemunhos justos e muito fiéis.
139 My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
Meu zelo me consumiu, porque meus adversários se esqueceram de tuas palavras.
140 Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
Refinada é a tua palavra, e teu servo a ama.
141 I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
Eu sou pequeno e desprezado; [porém] não me esqueço de teus mandamentos.
142 Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.
Tua justiça é justa para sempre, e tua lei é verdade.
143 Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.
Aperto e angústia me encontraram; [ainda assim] teus mandamentos são meus prazeres.
144 The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
A justiça de teus testemunhos [dura] para sempre; dá-me entendimento, e então viverei.
145 KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.
[Cofe]: Clamei com todo o [meu] coração; responde-me, SENHOR; guardarei teus estatutos.
146 I called vpon thee: saue mee, and I will keepe thy testimonies.
Clamei a ti; salva-me, e então guardarei os teus testemunhos.
147 I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.
Eu me antecedi ao amanhecer, e gritei; [e] mantive esperança em tua palavra.
148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
Meus olhos antecederam as vigílias da noite, para meditar em tua palavra.
149 Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
Ouve minha voz, segundo tua bondade, SENHOR; vivifica-me conforme teu juízo.
150 They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.
Aproximam-se [de mim] os que praticam maldade; eles estão longe de tua lei.
151 Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.
[Porém] tu, SENHOR, estás perto [de mim]; e todos os teus mandamentos são verdade.
152 I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
Desde antigamente eu soube de teus testemunhos, que tu os fundaste para sempre.
153 RESH. Beholde mine affliction, and deliuer mee: for I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
[Rexe]: Olha a minha aflição, e livra-me [dela]; pois não me esqueci de tua lei.
154 Pleade my cause, and deliuer me: quicken me according vnto thy word.
Defende minha causa, e resgata-me; vivifica-me conforme tua palavra.
155 Saluation is farre from the wicked, because they seeke not thy statutes.
A salvação está longe dos perversos, porque eles não buscam teus estatutos.
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.
Muitas são tuas misericórdias, SENHOR; vivifica-me conforme teus juízos.
157 My persecutours and mine oppressours are many: yet doe I not swarue from thy testimonies.
Muitos são meus perseguidores e meus adversários; [porém] eu não me desvio de teus testemunhos.
158 I saw the transgressours and was grieued, because they kept not thy worde.
Eu vi aos enganadores e os detestei, porque eles não guardam tua palavra.
159 Consider, O Lord, how I loue thy preceptes: quicken mee according to thy louing kindenesse.
Vê, SENHOR, que eu amo teus mandamentos; vivifica-me conforme a tua bondade.
160 The beginning of thy worde is trueth, and all the iudgements of thy righteousnesse endure for euer.
O princípio de tua palavra é fiel, e o juízo de tua justiça [dura] para sempre.
161 SCHIN. Princes haue persecuted mee without cause, but mine heart stood in awe of thy wordes.
[Xin]: Príncipes me perseguiram sem causa, mas meu coração temeu a tua palavra.
162 I reioyce at thy worde, as one that findeth a great spoyle.
Eu me alegro em tua palavra, tal como alguém que encontra um grande tesouro.
163 I hate falshoode and abhorre it, but thy Lawe doe I loue.
Odeio e abomino a falsidade; [mas] amo a tua lei.
164 Seuen times a day doe I praise thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
Louvo a ti sete vezes ao dia, por causa dos juízos de tua justiça.
165 They that loue thy Law, shall haue great prosperitie, and they shall haue none hurt.
Muita paz têm aqueles que amam a tua lei; e para eles não há tropeço.
166 Lord, I haue trusted in thy saluation, and haue done thy commandements.
Espero por tua salvação, SENHOR; e pratico teus mandamentos.
167 My soule hath kept thy testimonies: for I loue them exceedingly.
Minha alma guarda teus testemunhos, e eu os amo muito.
168 I haue kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my wayes are before thee.
Eu guardo teus preceitos e teus testemunhos, porque todos os meus caminhos estão diante de ti.
169 TAV. Let my complaint come before thee, O Lord, and giue me vnderstanding, according vnto thy worde.
[Tau]: Chegue meu clamor perante teu rosto, SENHOR; dá-me entendimento conforme tua palavra.
170 Let my supplication come before thee, and deliuer me according to thy promise.
Venha minha súplica diante de ti; livra-me conforme tua promessa.
171 My lippes shall speake praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
Meus lábios falarão muitos louvores, pois tu me ensinas teus estatutos.
172 My tongue shall intreate of thy word: for all thy commandements are righteous.
Minha língua falará de tua palavra, porque todos os teus mandamentos são justiça.
173 Let thine hand helpe me: for I haue chosen thy precepts.
Que tua mão me socorra, porque escolhi [seguir] teus preceitos.
174 I haue longed for thy saluation, O Lord, and thy Lawe is my delite.
Desejo tua salvação, SENHOR; e tua lei é o meu prazer.
175 Let my soule liue, and it shall praise thee, and thy iudgements shall helpe me.
Que minha alma viva e louve a ti; e que teus juízos me socorram.
176 I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.
Tenho andado sem rumo, como uma ovelha perdida; busca a teu servo, pois eu não me esqueci de teus mandamentos.
