Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
| خوشا به حال آنان که راست‌کردارند، و مطابق شریعت خداوند رفتار می‌کنند. |
2 Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
| خوشا به حال کسانی که احکام خداوند را بجا می‌آورند، از صمیم قلب او را اطاعت می‌کنند |
3 Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
| و به راههای کج نمی‌روند، بلکه در راههایی گام برمی‌دارند که خدا نشان داده است. |
4 Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
| خداوندا، تو فرمانهای خود را به ما داده‌ای و فرموده‌ای که آنها را با جدیت انجام دهیم. |
5 Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
| چقدر آرزو دارم که در انجام فرایض تو مطیع و وفادار باشم! |
6 Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
| اگر تمام دستورهای تو را پیوسته در نظر داشته باشم، هیچوقت شرمنده نخواهم شد! |
7 I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
| وقتی قوانین منصفانهٔ تو را بیاموزم، از صمیم قلب تو را حمد خواهم گفت! |
8 I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
| ای خداوند، فرایض تو را بجا خواهم آورد؛ تو هیچگاه مرا ترک نکن! |
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
| مرد جوان چگونه می‌تواند زندگی خود را پاک نگاه دارد؟ به‌وسیلۀ خواندن کلام خدا و اطاعت از دستورهای آن! |
10 With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
| خداوندا، با تمام وجودم تو را می‌جویم، پس نگذار از احکام تو منحرف شوم. |
11 I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
| کلام تو را در دل خود حفظ می‌کنم و به خاطر می‌سپارم تا مبادا نسبت به تو گناه ورزم! |
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
| ای خداوند متبارک، فرایض خود را به من بیاموز! |
13 With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
| تمام قوانین تو را با صدای بلند بیان خواهم کرد. |
14 I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
| بیش از هر چیز دیگر، از پیروی قوانین تو لذت می‌برم! در کلام تو تفکر خواهم کرد و فرمانهایت را به خاطر خواهم سپرد. |
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
16 I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
| از فرایض تو لذت می‌برم و هرگز آنها را فراموش نخواهم کرد. |
17 GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
| خداوندا، به خدمتگزارت احسان نما تا زنده بمانم و کلام تو را اطاعت کنم. |
18 Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
| چشمانم را بگشا تا حقایق شگفت‌انگیز شریعت تو را ببینم. |
19 I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
| من در این دنیا غریب هستم؛ ای خدا، احکام خود را از من مخفی مدار. |
20 Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
| اشتیاق به دانستن قوانین تو، همچون آتش همواره جانم را می‌سوزاند! |
21 Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
| تو متکبران ملعون را که از احکام تو منحرف می‌شوند، مجازات خواهی کرد. |
22 Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
| ننگ و رسوایی را از من بگیر، زیرا احکام تو را انجام داده‌ام. |
23 Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
| حکمرانان می‌نشینند و بر ضد من توطئه می‌چینند، اما من به فرایض تو فکر می‌کنم. |
24 Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
| احکام تو موجب شادی من است و همیشه مرا راهنمایی کرده است. |
25 DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
| ای خداوند، جانم به خاک چسبیده است؛ مطابق کلامت مرا زنده ساز! |
26 I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
| راههای خود را آشکار کردم و تو مرا اجابت فرمودی. اکنون فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. |
27 Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
| فرمانهایت را به من یاد ده تا دربارهٔ کلام شگفت‌انگیز تو تفکر نمایم. |
28 My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
| جان من از حزن و اندوه پژمرده می‌شود؛ با کلامت جان مرا تازه ساز! |
29 Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
| نگذار به راه خطا روم؛ شریعت خود را به من بشناسان. |
30 I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
| من راه وفاداری را اختیار نموده‌ام و قوانین تو را از نظر خود دور نداشته‌ام. |
31 I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
| خداوندا، احکام تو را بجا می‌آورم؛ مگذار شرمنده شوم. |
32 I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
| با اشتیاق فراوان در احکام تو گام برمی‌دارم، زیرا تو دل مرا از بند رها ساختی. |
33 HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
| ای خداوند، راه اجرای فرایض خود را به من بیاموز و من همیشه آنها را انجام خواهم داد. |
34 Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
| به من فهم و حکمت بده تا با تمام دل شریعت تو را نگاه دارم. |
35 Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
| مرا در راه احکامت هدایت کن، زیرا از آنها لذت می‌برم. |
36 Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
| دل مرا به سوی احکامت مایل ساز، نه به سوی حرص و طمع! |
37 Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
| مگذار به آنچه بی‌ارزش است توجه کنم؛ مرا با کلامت احیا کن! |
38 Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
| طبق وعده‌ای که به من داده‌ای عمل نما همان وعده‌ای که تو به مطیعان خود می‌دهی! |
39 Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
| از آن رسوایی که می‌ترسم مرا برهان، زیرا قوانین تو نیکوست! |
40 Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
| خداوندا، مشتاق فرمانهای تو هستم! ای خدای عادل، جان مرا تازه ساز! |
41 VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
| ای خداوند، بر من محبت فرما و طبق وعده‌ات مرا نجات ده |
42 So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
| تا بتوانم پاسخ مخالفانم را بدهم، زیرا آنان مرا برای اینکه بر تو اعتماد دارم، سرزنش می‌کنند. |
43 And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
| قدرت بیان حقیقت را از من مگیر، زیرا به قوانین تو امید بسته‌ام. |
44 So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
| پیوسته شریعت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت، تا ابدالآباد! |
45 And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
| در آزادی کامل زندگی خواهم کرد، زیرا همیشه مطیع فرمانهایت هستم. |
46 I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
| احکام تو را در حضور پادشاهان اعلام خواهم کرد و از این کار خود شرمنده نخواهم شد. |
47 And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
| از اطاعت کردن احکامت لذت می‌برم، زیرا آنها را دوست دارم. |
48 Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
| احکام تو را با جان و دل می‌پذیرم و دربارهٔ فرایض تو تفکر می‌کنم. |
49 ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
| خداوندا، قولی را که به بندهٔ خود داده‌ای به یاد آور، زیرا مرا به‌وسیلۀ آن امیدوار ساخته‌ای. |
50 It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
| در زمان مصیبت به‌وسیلۀ کلامت تسلی یافتم، زیرا وعدهٔ تو حیات به جان من بخشید. |
51 The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
| متکبران مرا بسیار مسخره کردند، اما من هرگز شریعت تو را ترک نکردم. |
52 I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
| ای خداوند، قوانین تو را که در زمانهای قدیم صادر کرده بودی، به یاد آوردم و به‌وسیلۀ آنها خود را دلداری دادم. |
53 Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
| وقتی می‌بینم بدکاران شریعت تو را می‌شکنند، بسیار خشمگین می‌شوم. |
54 Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
| هر جا مسکن گزینم، فرایض تو سرود من خواهند بود. |
55 I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
| ای خداوند، در شب نیز افکارم متوجهٔ توست و دربارهٔ شریعت تو می‌اندیشم. |
56 This I had because I kept thy precepts.
| سعادت من در این است که از فرامین تو اطاعت کنم. |
57 CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
| ای خداوند، تو نصیب من هستی! قول می‌دهم که کلامت را نگاه دارم. |
58 I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
| با تمام دل خود طالب رضامندی تو می‌باشم، طبق وعده‌ات بر من رحم فرما! |
59 I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
| دربارهٔ زندگی خود بسیار اندیشیدم و به سوی تو آمدم تا از احکام تو پیروی کنم. |
60 I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
| با شتاب آمدم تا احکام تو را اجرا کنم. |
61 The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
| بدکاران کوشیدند مرا به گناه بکشانند، اما من شریعت تو را فراموش نکردم. |
62 At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
| در نیمه‌های شب برمی‌خیزم تا تو را به سبب قوانین عادلانه‌ات ستایش کنم. |
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
| من دوست همهٔ کسانی هستم که تو را گرامی می‌دارند و فرمانهایت را انجام می‌دهند. |
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
| ای خداوند، زمین از محبت تو پر است! فرایض خود را به من بیاموز! |
65 TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
| خداوندا، همان‌گونه که وعده دادی، بر بنده‌ات احسان فرموده‌ای. |
66 Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
| حکمت و قضاوت صحیح را به من یاد ده، زیرا به احکام تو ایمان دارم. |
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
| پیش از اینکه تو مرا تنبیه کنی، من گمراه بودم، اما اینک پیرو کلام تو هستم. |
68 Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
| تو نیک هستی و نیکی می‌کنی! فرایض خود را به من بیاموز! |
69 The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
| متکبران دروغها دربارهٔ من می‌گویند، اما من از صمیم قلب مطیع فرمانهایت هستم. |
70 Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
| دل آنها سخت و بی‌احساس است، اما من از شریعت تو لذت می‌برم. |
71 It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
| تو مرا تنبیه کردی و این به نفع من تمام شد، زیرا باعث شد فرایض تو را بیاموزم. |
72 The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
| شریعت تو برای من از تمام زر و سیم دنیا با ارزشتر است. |
73 IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
| ای خداوند، تو مرا آفریده‌ای؛ پس به من دانش عطا کن تا احکام تو را بیاموزم. |
74 So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
| آنان که تو را گرامی می‌دارند، از دیدن من خوشحال می‌شوند، زیرا من نیز بر کلام تو توکل دارم. |
75 I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
| ای خداوند، می‌دانم که قوانین تو عدل است، و مرا منصفانه تنبیه نموده‌ای. |
76 I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
| اکنون طبق وعده‌ای که فرموده‌ای، بگذار محبت تو مایهٔ تسلی من شود. |
77 Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
| بر من رحم فرما تا جانم تازه شود، زیرا از شریعت تو لذت می‌برم! |
78 Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
| باشد که متکبران شرمنده شوند، زیرا با دروغهای خود مرا آزار رساندند؛ اما من دربارهٔ فرمانهایت تفکر خواهم کرد. |
79 Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
| ای خداوند، بگذار آنانی که تو را گرامی می‌دارند و با احکام تو آشنا هستند، نزد من آیند. |
80 Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
| مرا یاری ده که به طور کامل از فرایض تو اطاعت کنم تا شرمنده نشوم! |
81 CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
| خداوندا، آنقدر انتظار کشیدم مرا نجات دهی که خسته و فرسوده شدم؛ اما هنوز به وعدهٔ تو امیدوارم! |
82 Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
| از بس منتظر شدم به وعدهٔ خود وفا کنی، چشمانم تار گردید! خداوندا، چه وقت به کمک من خواهی آمد؟ |
83 For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
| مانند مشک دوده گرفته و چروکیده شده‌ام؛ اما فرایض تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام. |
84 Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
| تا به کی باید منتظر باشم؟ کی آزاردهندگان مرا مجازات خواهی کرد؟ |
85 The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
| متکبران که با شریعت تو مخالفت می‌کنند، برای من چاه کنده‌اند تا مرا گرفتار سازند. |
86 All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
| ای خداوند، تمام احکام تو قابل اعتماد می‌باشند. متکبران به ناحق مرا عذاب دادند. خداوندا، به دادم برس! |
87 They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
| نزدیک بود مرا از بین ببرند، اما من از فرامین تو غافل نشدم. |
88 Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
| خداوندا، تو پر از محبتی؛ به جان من حیات ببخش تا احکامت را بجا آورم. |
89 LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
| ای خداوند، کلام تو تا ابد در آسمانها پایدار خواهد ماند. |
90 Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
| وفاداری تو در همهٔ نسلها همچنان پا برجا خواهد بود و مانند زمینی که آفریده‌ای ثابت خواهد ماند. |
91 They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
| همهٔ کاینات به فرمان تو تا به حال باقی مانده‌اند، زیرا تمام آنها در خدمت تو هستند. |
92 Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
| اگر شریعت تو مایهٔ شادمانی من نشده بود، بدون شک تا به حال از غصه مرده بودم! |
93 I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
| فرمانهایت را هرگز فراموش نخواهم کرد، زیرا به‌وسیلۀ آنها مرا حیات بخشیدی. |
94 I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
| من از آن تو هستم، نجاتم ده. کوشیده‌ام فرمانهای تو را نگاه دارم. |
95 The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
| بدکاران منتظرند مرا نابود کنند اما من به احکام تو می‌اندیشم. |
96 I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
| برای هر کمالی انتهایی دیدم، اما حکم تو کامل و بی‌انتهاست! |
97 MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
| خداوندا، شریعت تو را چقدر دوست دارم! تمام روز در آن تفکر می‌کنم. |
98 By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
| احکام تو مرا از مخالفانم حکیمتر ساخته است، زیرا همیشه در ذهن و وجود من است. |
99 I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
| آری، حتی از معلمان خود نیز داناتر شده‌ام، زیرا همیشه در احکامت تفکر می‌کنم. |
100 I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
| از ریش‌سفیدان قوم خود نیز خردمندتر شده‌ام، زیرا فرمانهای تو را اطاعت کرده‌ام. |
101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.
| از رفتن به راه بد پرهیز کرده‌ام، زیرا خواست من این بوده که کلام تو را اطاعت کنم. |
102 I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
| از قوانین تو دور نشده‌ام، زیرا تعلیم تو برای من نیک بوده است. |
103 Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
| کلام تو برای جان من شیرین است؛ حتی شیرینتر از عسل! |
104 By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
| از فرامین تو دانش و حکمت کسب کردم، به همین جهت از هر راه کج بیزار و گریزانم. |
105 NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
| کلام تو چراغ راهنمای من است؛ نوری است که راه را پیش پایم روشن می‌سازد! |
106 I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
| قول داده‌ام که از قوانین عادلانهٔ تو اطاعت کنم و به قول خود وفادار خواهم ماند. |
107 I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
| ای خداوند، بسیار درمانده و پریشان هستم؛ همان‌گونه که وعده فرموده‌ای، جان مرا حیات ببخش! |
108 O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
| خداوندا، دعای شکرگزاری مرا بپذیر و قوانین خود را به من بیاموز. |
109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
| جان من دائم در معرض خطر قرار می‌گیرد؛ اما من شریعت تو را فراموش نمی‌کنم. |
110 The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
| بدکاران بر سر راه من دام می‌نهند؛ اما من از فرمانهای تو منحرف نمی‌شوم. |
111 Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
| احکام تو تا ابد در خزانهٔ قلبم خواهد ماند، زیرا مایهٔ شادی قلبم می‌باشد. |
112 I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
| با خود عهد بسته‌ام که تا دم مرگ فرایض تو را اطاعت کنم! |
113 SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
| از مردمان دورو و متظاهر بیزارم، اما شریعت تو را دوست دارم. |
114 Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
| تو پناهگاه و سپر من هستی؛ امید من به وعدهٔ توست. |
115 Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
| ای بدکاران، از من دور شوید؛ زیرا من احکام خدای خود را بجا می‌آورم. |
116 Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
| خداوندا، طبق وعده‌ای که به من داده‌ای قدرت عطا فرما تا زنده بمانم. مگذار امیدم به یاس و نومیدی تبدیل شود. |
117 Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
| از من حمایت کن تا از دست دشمنانم ایمن باشم و به حفظ فرایض تو بپردازم. |
118 Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
| تو همهٔ کسانی را که فرایض تو را قبول نمی‌کنند از خود می‌رانی و تمام نقشه‌های اغفال کنندهٔ آنها را بی‌اثر می‌سازی. |
119 Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
| تمام بدکاران روی زمین را مانند تفاله دور خواهی انداخت، به همین دلیل است که من احکام تو را دوست دارم. |
120 My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
| ای خداوند، ترس تو در دل من است و از داوریهای تو هراسانم. |
121 AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
| خداوندا، مرا به دست دشمنانم تسلیم نکن، زیرا آنچه را که درست و عادلانه بوده است، انجام داده‌ام. |
122 Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
| به من اطمینان بده که مرا یاری خواهی کرد؛ مگذار متکبران بر من ظلم کنند. |
123 Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
| آنقدر چشم انتظار ماندم که بیایی و مرا نجات دهی که چشمانم تار شد. |
124 Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
| با من طبق محبت خود عمل نما و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. |
125 I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
| من خدمتگزار تو هستم؛ به من دانایی عنایت فرما تا احکامت را درک نمایم. |
126 It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
| خداوندا، زمان آن رسیده که تو اقدام کنی، زیرا مردم از شریعت تو سرپیچی می‌کنند. |
127 Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
| من احکام تو را دوست دارم؛ آنها را بیش از طلا و زر خالص دوست دارم. |
128 Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
| همهٔ فرمانهای تو را، در هر موردی، صحیح می‌دانم؛ اما از هر نوع تعلیم دروغ متنفرم. |
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
| ای خداوند، احکام تو بسیار عالی است؛ از صمیم قلب آنها را اطاعت می‌کنم. |
130 The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.
| درک کلام تو به انسان نور می‌بخشد و ساده‌دلان را خردمند می‌سازد. |
131 I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.
| دهان خود را باز می‌کنم و لَه‌لَه می‌زنم، زیرا مشتاق احکام تو هستم. |
132 Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
| همان‌گونه که بر دوستداران خود رحمت می‌فرمایی، بر من نیز نظر لطف بیفکن و مرا مورد رحمت خود قرار ده. |
133 Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
| با کلامت مرا راهنمایی کن تا مغلوب بدی نشوم. |
134 Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
| مرا از دست ظالمان نجات ده تا فرمانهای تو را انجام دهم. |
135 Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
| روی خود را بر خادم خود تابان ساز، و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. |
136 Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
| اشک همچون سیل از چشمانم سرازیر می‌شود، زیرا مردم شریعت تو را بجا نمی‌آورند. |
137 TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
| ای خداوند، تو عادل هستی و قوانین تو منصفانه است. |
138 Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
| احکامی را که وضع نموده‌ای تمام از عدل و انصاف سرشار است. |
139 My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
| آتش خشم من وجود مرا می‌سوزاند، زیرا دشمنانم به احکام تو بی‌اعتنایی می‌کنند. |
140 Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
| کلام تو آزموده شده و پاک است؛ خادمت چقدر آن را دوست می‌دارد! |
141 I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
| من کوچک و نالایق هستم، اما از اجرای فرمانهای تو غافل نمی‌شوم. |
142 Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.
| عدالت تو ابدی است و شریعت تو همیشه راست و درست است. |
143 Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.
| من در زحمت و فشار هستم، ولی احکام تو موجب شادی من است! |
144 The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
| احکام تو همیشه عادلانه است، مرا در فهم آنها یاری فرما تا روحم تازه شود! |
145 KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.
| ای خداوند، با تمام قوت خود نزد تو فریاد برمی‌آورم؛ مرا اجابت فرما تا فرایض تو را بجا آورم. |
146 I called vpon thee: saue mee, and I will keepe thy testimonies.
| از تو یاری می‌خواهم؛ مرا نجات ده تا احکام تو را انجام دهم. |
147 I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.
| پیش از طلوع آفتاب نزد تو دعا و التماس کردم و به انتظار وعدهٔ تو نشستم. |
148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
| تمام شب بیدار ماندم تا در کلام تو تفکر نمایم. |
149 Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
| ای خداوند، به سبب محبت خود فریادم را بشنو و طبق قوانین خود جان مرا حفظ کن! |
150 They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.
| افراد شرور و بدکار، که بویی از شریعت تو نبرده‌اند، به من نزدیک می‌شوند؛ |
151 Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.
| اما ای خداوند، تو در کنار من هستی. همهٔ احکام تو حقیقت است. |
152 I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
| احکام تو را از مدتها پیش آموخته‌ام! تو آنها را چنان تثبیت کرده‌ای که تا ابد پا برجا بمانند. |
153 RESH. Beholde mine affliction, and deliuer mee: for I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
| ای خداوند، بر رنجهای من نظر کن و مرا نجات ده، زیرا من نسبت به شریعت تو بی‌اعتنا نبوده‌ام. |
154 Pleade my cause, and deliuer me: quicken me according vnto thy word.
| از حق من دفاع کن و مرا آزاد ساز! طبق وعده‌ات جان مرا حفظ کن. |
155 Saluation is farre from the wicked, because they seeke not thy statutes.
| بدکاران نجات نخواهند یافت، زیرا فرایض تو را اطاعت نمی‌کنند. |
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.
| خداوندا، رحمت تو عظیم است! بگذار با حفظ قوانینت زنده بمانم! |
157 My persecutours and mine oppressours are many: yet doe I not swarue from thy testimonies.
| دشمنان و آزاردهندگان من بسیارند، اما من از اطاعت نمودن احکام تو غفلت نخواهم کرد. |
158 I saw the transgressours and was grieued, because they kept not thy worde.
| وقتی به بدکاران که کلام تو را اطاعت نمی‌کنند، نگاه می‌کنم، از آنها منزجر می‌شوم. |
159 Consider, O Lord, how I loue thy preceptes: quicken mee according to thy louing kindenesse.
| خداوندا، ملاحظه فرما که چقدر فرمانهای تو را دوست می‌دارم. طبق محبت خود، جان مرا حفظ کن. |
160 The beginning of thy worde is trueth, and all the iudgements of thy righteousnesse endure for euer.
| تمام قوانین تو بر حق و داوریهای تو همیشه عادلانه است. |
161 SCHIN. Princes haue persecuted mee without cause, but mine heart stood in awe of thy wordes.
| زورمندان با بی‌انصافی بر من ظلم کردند، اما من کلام تو را گرامی داشتم. |
162 I reioyce at thy worde, as one that findeth a great spoyle.
| به سبب وعده‌های تو خوشحال هستم، خوشحال مانند کسی که گنج بزرگی یافته باشد! |
163 I hate falshoode and abhorre it, but thy Lawe doe I loue.
| از دروغ متنفر و بیزارم، اما شریعت تو را دوست دارم. |
164 Seuen times a day doe I praise thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
| برای قوانین عادلانهٔ تو، روزی هفت بار تو را سپاس می‌گویم. |
165 They that loue thy Law, shall haue great prosperitie, and they shall haue none hurt.
| آنان که شریعت تو را دوست دارند از سلامتی کامل برخوردارند و هیچ قدرتی باعث لغزش آنان نخواهد شد! |
166 Lord, I haue trusted in thy saluation, and haue done thy commandements.
| ای خداوند، من احکام تو را اطاعت می‌کنم و امیدم به توست که مرا نجات دهی. |
167 My soule hath kept thy testimonies: for I loue them exceedingly.
| احکام تو را انجام می‌دهم و آنها را از صمیم قلب دوست می‌دارم. |
168 I haue kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my wayes are before thee.
| فرامین و احکام تو را نگاه می‌دارم، زیرا تو ناظر بر همهٔ کارهای من هستی. |
169 TAV. Let my complaint come before thee, O Lord, and giue me vnderstanding, according vnto thy worde.
| ای خداوند، فریاد مرا بشنو! طبق وعده‌ای که داده‌ای قدرت درک مرا زیاد کن. |
170 Let my supplication come before thee, and deliuer me according to thy promise.
| دعایم را بشنو و طبق وعده‌ات مرا نجات ده! |
171 My lippes shall speake praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
| همیشه تو را سپاس می‌گویم، زیرا فرایض خود را به من می‌آموزی. |
172 My tongue shall intreate of thy word: for all thy commandements are righteous.
| کلامت را با سرود ستایش خواهم کرد، زیرا تمام احکام تو عادلانه است! |
173 Let thine hand helpe me: for I haue chosen thy precepts.
| یار و یاور من باش، زیرا مطیع فرامین تو هستم. |
174 I haue longed for thy saluation, O Lord, and thy Lawe is my delite.
| ای خداوند، مشتاق دیدن عمل رهایی‌بخش تو هستم؛ شریعت تو لذت زندگی من است! |
175 Let my soule liue, and it shall praise thee, and thy iudgements shall helpe me.
| بگذار زنده بمانم و تو را سپاس بگویم! بگذار قوانین تو راهنمای من باشند! |
176 I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.
| مانند گوسفند گمشده سرگردان هستم! بیا و مرا دریاب، زیرا خادمت احکام تو را فراموش نکرده است. |
