Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
Warri jireenyi isaanii mudaa hin qabne, kanneen akka seera Waaqayyootti jiraattan eebbifamoo dha.
2 Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
Warri ajajawwan isaa eegan, kanneen garaa guutuun isa barbaadan eebbifamoo dha.
3 Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
Isaan balleessaa hin hojjetan; karaa isaa irras ni deemu.
4 Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
Akka Seerri kee amanamummaadhaan eegamuuf ati ajajjeerta.
5 Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
Akka ani ajaja kee eeguuf utuu karaan koo naa qajeelee jiraatee!
6 Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
Ani utuun ajajawwan kee hunda xiyyeeffadhee ilaalee silaa hin qaanaʼun ture.
7 I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
Ani yommuun seera kee qajeelaa sana baradhutti, garaa tolaadhaan sin galateeffadha.
8 I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
Ani sirna keetiif nan bula; ati gonkumaa na hin dhiisin.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
Dargaggeessi akkamitti jireenya qulqulluu jiraachuu dandaʼa? Akka dubbii keetiitti jiraachuudhaan.
10 With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
Ani garaa koo guutuudhaan sin barbaada; akka ani ajajawwan kee irraa jalʼadhu na hin godhin.
11 I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
Ani akkan cubbuu sitti hin hojjenneef, dubbii kee garaa koo keessa dhokfadheera.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
Yaa Waaqayyo, galanni siif haa taʼu; sirna kee na barsiisi.
13 With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
Ani seera afaan keetii baʼu hundumaa, afaan kootiin nan dubbadha.
14 I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
Akkuma namni tokko badhaadhummaa guddaatti gammadu, ani ajaja kee faana buʼuutti nan gammada.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
Ajajawwan kee irra deddeebiʼee nan yaada; karaa kee irraas ija koo hin buqqifadhu.
16 I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
Ani sirna keetti nan gammada; dubbii kees hin dagadhu.
17 GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
Akka ani jiraadhuu fi dubbii kee eeguuf, garbicha keetiif waan gaarii godhi.
18 Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
Akka ani seera kee keessatti waan dinqisiisaa arguuf, ija koo naa bani.
19 I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
Ani lafa irratti keessummaa dha; ajajawwan kee na duraa hin dhoksin.
20 Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
Lubbuun koo yeroo hunda seera kee hawwuudhaan, laafaa jirti.
21 Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
Ati of tuultota warra abaaramoo, kanneen ajajawwan kee irraa jalʼatan ni ifatta.
22 Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
Waan ani seera kee eeguuf, arrabsoo fi tuffii isaanii narraa fageessi.
23 Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
Bulchitoonni walii wajjin taaʼanii yoo maqaa na balleessan iyyuu, tajaajilaan kee irra deddeebiʼee labsii kee ni yaada.
24 Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
Ajajni kee gammachuu koo ti; gorsituu kootis.
25 DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
Lubbuun koo biyyootti maxxante; ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti na oolchi.
26 I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
Yeroo ani waaʼee karaa koo sitti himetti, ati deebii naa kennite; sirna kees na barsiisi.
27 Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
Barsiisa seera keetii na hubachiisi; anis irra deddeebiʼee dinqii kee nan yaada.
28 My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
Lubbuun koo gaddaan laafteerti; ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti na jabeessi.
29 Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
Karaa sobaa irraa na fageessi; arjumaadhaanis seera kee na barsiisi.
30 I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
Ani karaa dhugaa filadheera; seera kees of dura kaaʼadheera.
31 I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani ajaja kee jabeessee qabadheera; ati na hin qaanessin.
32 I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
Sababii ati hubannaa koo naa balʼifteef ani daandii ajajawwan keetii irra nan fiiga.
33 HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
Yaa Waaqayyo, akka ani sirna kee duukaa buʼu na barsiisi; anis hamma dhumaatti isa nan eega.
34 Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
Akka ani seera kee eegee garaa koo guutuun isaaf ajajamuuf hubannaa naa kenni.
35 Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
Daandii ajajawwan keetii irra na deemsisi; anis achitti gammachuu nan argadhaatii.
36 Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
Garaa koo gara ofittummaadhaan faayidaa argachuutti utuu hin taʼin, gara sirna keetiitti naa deebisi.
37 Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
Ija koo waan faayidaa hin qabne irraa deebisi; akkuma dubbii keetiittis na jiraachisi.
38 Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
Ati akka sodaatamtuuf, waadaa kee garbicha keetiif guuti.
39 Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
Salphina ani sodaadhu narraa fageessi; seerri kee gaariidhaatii.
40 Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
Kunoo, ani sirna kee nan hawwa; qajeelummaa keetiin na jiraachisi.
41 VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
Yaa Waaqayyo, jaalalli kee kan hin geeddaramne sun, fayyisuun kees akkuma dubbii keetiitti gara koo haa dhufu;
42 So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
yoos ani sababii dubbii kee amanadhuuf, warra na arrabsaniif deebii kenna.
43 And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
Waan ani seera kee abdadheef, ati dubbii dhugaa afaan koo keessaa hin balleessin.
44 So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
Bara baraa hamma bara baraatti, ani yeroo hunda seera kee nan eega.
45 And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
Ani ajaja kee waanan barbaaduuf, bilisummaadhaan nan deddeebiʼa.
46 I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
Ani waaʼee ajaja keetii mootota duratti nan dubbadha; hin qaaneffamus;
47 And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
waan ani ajajawwan kee jaalladhuuf, isaanitti nan gammada.
48 Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Ani gara ajajawwan kee kanneen ani jaalladhu sanaatti harka koo ol nan fudhadha; labsii kees irra deddeebiʼee nan yaada.
49 ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
Waadaa tajaajilaa keetiif seente sana yaadadhu; ati isumaan abdii naa kenniteertaatii.
50 It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
Rakkina koo keessatti jajjabinni koo kana: Waadaan kee na jiraachisa.
51 The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
Of tuultonni akkuma barbaadanitti natti qoosu; ani garuu seera kee irraa hin jalʼadhu.
52 I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani seera kee durii sana nan yaadadha; isa keessattis jajjabina nan argadha.
53 Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
Sababii hamoota warra seera kee dhiisaniitiif, aariin na gugguba.
54 Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
Iddoo keessummummaa koo hundatti seerri kee faarfannaa koo ti.
55 I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani halkan keessa maqaa kee nan yaadadha; seera kees nan eega.
56 This I had because I kept thy precepts.
Waan ani ajaja kee eegeef, kun naaf taʼeera.
57 CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ati qooda koo ti; anis dubbii keetiif ajajamuuf waadaa galeera.
58 I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
Ani garaa koo guutuun fuula kee barbaaddadheera; ati akkuma waadaa keetiitti naa araarami.
59 I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
Ani karaa koo itti deddeebiʼee yaadeera; tarkaanfii koo gara sirna keetiitti deebiseera.
60 I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
Ani ajajawwan kee eeguuf, nan ariifadha; hin barfadhus.
61 The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
Hamoonni yoo funyoodhaan na hidhan iyyuu, ani seera kee hin irraanfadhu.
62 At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
Sababii seera kee qajeelaa sanaatiif, ani si galateeffachuuf jedhee halkan walakkaa nan kaʼa.
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
Ani warra si sodaatan hundaaf, warra ajaja kee eegan hundaafis michuu dha.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
Yaa Waaqayyo, lafti jaalala keetiin guutamteerti; sirna kee na barsiisi.
65 TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti, tajaajilaa keetiif waan gaarii gooteerta.
66 Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
Murtii gaarii fi beekumsa na barsiisi; ani ajajawwan keetti nan amanaatii.
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
Ani utuun hin rakkatin karaa irraa badee ture; amma garuu dubbii kee nan eega.
68 Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
Ati gaarii dha; wanni ati hojjettus gaarii dha; sirna kee na barsiisi.
69 The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
Of tuultonni yoo sobaan maqaa na balleessan iyyuu, ani garaa koo guutuudhaan seera kee nan eega.
70 Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
Onneen isaanii mooraan haguugamteerti; ani garuu seera keetti nan gammada.
71 It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
Akka ani sirna kee baradhuuf, rakkachuun koo anaaf gaarii ture.
72 The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
Meetii fi warqee kumaatama irra, seeri afaan keetii baʼu anaaf gaariidha.
73 IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
Harki kee na uume; na tolches; akka ani ajaja kee baradhuuf ati hubannaa naa kenni.
74 So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
Sababii ani dubbii kee abdadheef, warri si sodaatan yommuu na arganitti haa gammadan.
75 I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani akka murtiin kee qajeelaa taʼe, akka atis amanamummaadhaan na dhiphiste beeka.
76 I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
Akkuma ati tajaajilaa keetiif waadaa galte sanatti, jaalalli kee kan hin geeddaramne sun na haa jajjabeessu.
77 Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
Akka ani lubbuun jiraadhuuf gara laafinni kee gara koo haa dhufu; seerri kee gammachuu kootii.
78 Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
Of tuultonni waan sababii malee na yakkaniif haa qaanaʼan; ani garuu irra deddeebiʼee seera kee nan yaada.
79 Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
Warri si sodaatan, kanneen seera kee hubatan gara kootti haa deebiʼan.
80 Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
Akka ani hin qaanofneef garaan koo seera kee duratti hanqina hin qabaatin.
81 CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
Lubbuun koo fayyisuu kee hawwuudhaan gaggabdi; ani garuu dubbii kee nan abdadha.
82 Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
Iji koo waadaa kee eeggachuudhaan dadhabe; anis, “Ati yoom na jajjabeessita?” nan jedha.
83 For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
Qalqalloo wayinii kan aara keessa ture fakkaadhus ani ajaja kee hin irraanfadhu.
84 Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
Tajaajilaan kee hamma yoomiitti obsuu qaba? Ati warra na ariʼatanitti yoom murta?
85 The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
Of tuultonni warri akka seera keetiitti hin bulle, boolla naa qotaniiru.
86 All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
Ajajawwan kee hundinuu amanamoo dha; namoonni sababii malee waan na ariʼataniif ati na gargaari.
87 They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
Isaan lafa irraa na balleessuu gaʼanii turan; ani garuu sirna kee hin dhiifne.
88 Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
Ati akkuma jaalala keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari; anis seera afaan keetii baʼu nan eega.
89 LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
Yaa Waaqayyo, dubbiin kee bara baraan jiraata; samii keessas jabaatee ni dhaabata.
90 Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
Amanamummaan kee dhaloota hundaaf itti fufa; ati lafa hundeessite; isheenis ni jiraatti.
91 They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
Sababii wanni hundinuu si tajaajiluuf, seerri kee hamma harʼaatti jiraateera.
92 Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
Utuu seerri kee gammachuu naa taʼuu baatee, ani silaa rakkina kootiin badeen ture.
93 I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
Sababii ati isaan na jiraachifteef, ani gonkumaa ajaja kee hin irraanfadhu.
94 I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
Sababii ani kan kee taʼeef na fayyisi; anis sirna kee barbaadeera.
95 The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
Hamoonni na balleessuuf na eeggachaa jiru; ani garuu irra deddeebiʼee seera kee nan yaada.
96 I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
Ani akka wanni mudaa hin qabnee hundinuu daangaa qabu argeera; ajajni kee garuu baayʼee balʼaa dha.
97 MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
Ani seera kee akkaman jaalladha! Guyyaa guutuu irra deddeebiʼee waaʼee isaa nan yaada.
98 By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
Ajajawwan kee waan yeroo hunda na wajjin jiraniif, diinota koo caalaa ogeessa na godhan.
99 I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
Ani sababiin irra deddeebiʼee seera kee yaaduuf, barsiisota koo hundumaa caalaa hubannaa qaba.
100 I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
Ani sababiin ajaja kee eeguuf, maanguddoota caalaa hubannaa guddaan qaba.
101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.
Ani akkan dubbii kee eeguuf, karaa hamaa hunda irraa miilla koo adabadheera.
102 I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
Waan ati mataan kee na barsiifteef, ani seera kee irraa hin fagaanne.
103 Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
Dubbiin kee akkam arraba kootti miʼaawa; nadhii dammaa caalaa afaan kootti miʼaawa!
104 By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
Ani qajeelfama kee irraa hubannaa argadheera; kanaafuu daandii sobaa hunda nan jibba.
105 NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
Dubbiin kee miilla kootiif ibsaa dha; daandii kootiif immoo ifa.
106 I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
Ani akkan seera kee qajeelaa sana eeguuf, kakadheera; kanas mirkaneesseera.
107 I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
Ani akka malee dhiphadheen jira; yaa Waaqayyo, ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
108 O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
Yaa Waaqayyo, galata fedhiidhaan afaan kootii baʼu fudhadhu; seera kees na barsiisi.
109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
Jireenyi koo yeroo hunda harka koo keessa jiraatu iyyuu, ani seera kee hin irraanfadhu.
110 The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
Hamoonni kiyyoo naa kaaʼaniiru; ani garuu ajaja kee irraa hin jalʼanne.
111 Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
Seerri kee dhaala koo kan bara baraa ti; gammachuu garaa kootiitis.
112 I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
Garaan koo hamma dhumaatti ajaja kee eeguuf kutateera.
113 SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
Ani nama yaada lamaa nan jibba; seera kee garuu nan jaalladha.
114 Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
Ati iddoo ani itti baqadhuu fi gaachana koo ti; ani dubbii kee abdadheera.
115 Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
Akka ani ajajawwan Waaqa koo eeguuf, isin warri waan hamaa hojjettan narraa fagaadhaa!
116 Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
Ati akkuma waadaa keetiitti na deeggari; anis nan jiraadha; akka ani abdii kootti qaanaʼu na hin godhin.
117 Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
Akka ani nagaadhaan jiraadhuuf na deeggari; yeroo hunda seera kee nan kabaja.
118 Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
Sababii gowwoomsaan isaanii faayidaa hin qabneef; ati warra seera kee irraa jalʼatan hunda tuffattee gatta.
119 Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
Ati hamoota lafa irraa hunda akka kosiitti gatta; kanaafuu ani seera kee nan jaalladha.
120 My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
Foon koo si sodaachuudhaan hollata; anis murtii kee nan sodaadha.
121 AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
Ani waan qajeelaa fi tolaa hojjedheera; ati warra na hacuucanitti dabarsitee na hin kennin.
122 Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
Nagaan jiraachuu tajaajilaa keetii mirkaneessi; akka of tuultonni na cunqursanis hin eeyyamin.
123 Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
Iji koo fayyisuu kee eeguudhaan, waadaa kee qajeelaas eeguudhaanis dadhabeera.
124 Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
Akkuma jaalala keetiitti tajaajilaa kee yaadadhu; seera kees na barsiisi.
125 I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
Ani tajaajilaa kee ti; akka ani ajaja kee beekuuf hubannaa naa kenni.
126 It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
Yaa Waaqayyo, kun yeroo ati itti hojjettuu dha; seerri kee cabsamaa jiraatii.
127 Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
Kanaafuu ani warqee caalaa, warqee qulqulluu caalaa, ajajawwan kee nan jaalladha;
128 Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
ani akka seerri kee hundi qajeelaa taʼe nan amana; daandii sobaa hundas nan jibba.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
Sirni kee dinqisiisaa dha; kanaafuu ani isa nan eega.
130 The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.
Ibsamuun dubbii keetii ifa kenna; wallaalotaafis hubannaa kenna.
131 I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.
Ani ajajawwan kee hawwuudhaan afaan koo banee nan hargana.
132 Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
Ati akkuma yeroo hunda warra maqaa kee jaalataniif gootu sana, gara kootti garagalii na maari.
133 Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
Akkuma dubbii keetiitti tarkaanfii miilla kootii naa qajeelchi; cubbuun tokko iyyuu narratti hin moʼin.
134 Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
Akka ani ajaja kee eeguuf hacuuccaa namootaa jalaa na furi.
135 Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.

136 Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
Sababii namoonni seerra kee hin eegneef, iji koo imimmaan lolaasa.
137 TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ati qajeelaa dha; murtiin kees qajeelaa dha.
138 Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
Seerri ati kennite qajeelaa dha; guutummaattis amanamaa dha.
139 My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
Sababii diinonni koo dubbii kee dagataniif, hinaaffaan ani qabu na guggubeera.
140 Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
Waadaan kee sirriitti qoramee ilaalameera; tajaajilaan kees isa jaallata.
141 I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
Xinnaadhee tuffatamu iyyuu, ani ajaja kee hin irraanfadhu.
142 Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.
Qajeelummaan kee bara baraan jiraata; seerri kees dhugaa dha.
143 Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.
Rakkinnii fi dhiphinni natti dhufeera; ajajawwan kee garuu gammachuu koo ti.
144 The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
Seerri kee bara baraan qajeelaa dha; akka ani jiraadhuuf hubannaa naa kenni.
145 KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani garaa koo guutuudhaan sin waammadha; deebii naa kenni; anis sirna keetiif nan ajajama.
146 I called vpon thee: saue mee, and I will keepe thy testimonies.
Ani sittin iyyadha; ati na fayyisi; seera kees nan eega.
147 I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.
Ani utuu lafti hin bariʼin kaʼee gargaarsaaf nan iyyadha; ani dubbii kee abdadheera.
148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
Akka ani irra deddeebiʼee waadaa kee yaaduuf, iji koo halkan guutuu banamee bula.
149 Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
Akkuma jaalala keetiitti sagalee koo dhagaʼi; Yaa Waaqayyo, akkuma seera keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
150 They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.
Warri daba mariʼatan as dhiʼoo jiru; seera kee irraa garuu fagoo jiru.
151 Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ati garuu dhiʼoo jirta; ajajawwan kee hundis dhugaa dha.
152 I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
Akka ati ajajawwan kee bara baraan hundeessite, ani seera kee irraa dur baradheera.
153 RESH. Beholde mine affliction, and deliuer mee: for I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
Dhiphina koo argiitii na oolchi; ani seera kee hin daganneetii.
154 Pleade my cause, and deliuer me: quicken me according vnto thy word.
Dubbii koo naa falmi; na furis; akkuma waadaa keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
155 Saluation is farre from the wicked, because they seeke not thy statutes.
Sababii isaan sirna kee hin barbaanneef, fayyinni hamoota irraa fagaateera.
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.
Yaa Waaqayyo, gara laafinni kee guddaa dha; akkuma seera keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
157 My persecutours and mine oppressours are many: yet doe I not swarue from thy testimonies.
Diinonni koo warri na ariʼatan baayʼee dha; ani garuu seera kee irraa hin jalʼanne.
158 I saw the transgressours and was grieued, because they kept not thy worde.
Sababii isaan dubbii keetiif hin ajajamneef, ani warra amantii hin qabne ija jibbaatiin nan ilaala.
159 Consider, O Lord, how I loue thy preceptes: quicken mee according to thy louing kindenesse.
Akkam akka ani qajeelfama kee jaalladhu mee ilaali; Yaa Waaqayyo, akkuma jaalala keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
160 The beginning of thy worde is trueth, and all the iudgements of thy righteousnesse endure for euer.
Dubbiin kee hundinuu dhugaa dha; seerri kee qajeelaan hundinuus bara baraan jiraata.
161 SCHIN. Princes haue persecuted mee without cause, but mine heart stood in awe of thy wordes.
Bulchitoonni sababii malee na ariʼatan; garaan koo garuu dubbii kee sodaachuudhaan hollata.
162 I reioyce at thy worde, as one that findeth a great spoyle.
Ani akka nama boojuu guddaa argate tokkootti, dubbii keetti nan gammada.
163 I hate falshoode and abhorre it, but thy Lawe doe I loue.
Ani soba nan jibba; nan xireeffadhas; seera kee garuu nan jaalladha.
164 Seuen times a day doe I praise thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
Sababii seera kee qajeelaa sanaatiif, ani guyyaatti yeroo torba sin galateeffadha.
165 They that loue thy Law, shall haue great prosperitie, and they shall haue none hurt.
Warri seera kee jaallatan nagaa guddaa qabu; wanni isaan gufachiisu tokko iyyuu hin jiru.
166 Lord, I haue trusted in thy saluation, and haue done thy commandements.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani fayyisuu kee nan abdadha; ajaja kee duukaas nan buʼa.
167 My soule hath kept thy testimonies: for I loue them exceedingly.
Ani waanan guddaa isa jaalladhuuf, ajaja kee nan eega.
168 I haue kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my wayes are before thee.
Ati karaa koo hunda waan beektuuf, ani sirna keetii fi seera kee nan eega.
169 TAV. Let my complaint come before thee, O Lord, and giue me vnderstanding, according vnto thy worde.
Yaa Waaqayyo, iyyi koo fuula kee dura haa gaʼu; ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti hubannaa naa kenni.
170 Let my supplication come before thee, and deliuer me according to thy promise.
Waammanni koo fuula kee dura haa gaʼu; akkuma waadaa keetiitti na baasi.
171 My lippes shall speake praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
Sababii ati qajeelfama kee na barsiiftuuf, hidhiin koo galata haa dhangalaasu.
172 My tongue shall intreate of thy word: for all thy commandements are righteous.
Arrabni koo dubbii kee haa faarfatu; ajajni kee hundi qajeelaadhaatii.
173 Let thine hand helpe me: for I haue chosen thy precepts.
Waan ani sirna kee filadheef, harki kee na gargaaruuf haa qophaaʼu.
174 I haue longed for thy saluation, O Lord, and thy Lawe is my delite.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani fayyisuu kee nan hawwa; seerri kees gammachuu koo ti.
175 Let my soule liue, and it shall praise thee, and thy iudgements shall helpe me.
Lubbuun koo si galateeffachuuf haa jiraattu; seerri kees na haa gargaaru.
176 I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.
Ani akkuma hoolaa badee karaa irraa jalʼadheera. Ani ajajawwan kee hin irraanfanneetii, tajaajilaa kee barbaadi.
