Psalms 118
1 Praise yee the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
௧யெகோவாவை துதியுங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.
2 Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
௨அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று இஸ்ரவேல் சொல்வார்களாக.
3 Let the house of Aaron nowe say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
௩அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று, ஆரோனின் குடும்பத்தார் சொல்வார்களாக.
4 Let them, that feare the Lord, nowe say, That his mercie endureth for euer.
௪அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று, யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்கள் சொல்வார்களாக.
5 I called vpon the Lord in trouble, and the Lord heard me, and set me at large.
௫நெருக்கத்திலிருந்து யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், யெகோவா என்னைக் கேட்டருளி விசாலத்திலே வைத்தார்.
6 The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me.
௬யெகோவா என்னோடு இருக்கிறார், நான் பயப்படமாட்டேன்; மனிதன் எனக்கு என்ன செய்வான்?
7 The Lord is with mee among them that helpe me: therefore shall I see my desire vpon mine enemies.
௭எனக்கு உதவி செய்கிறவர்கள் நடுவில் யெகோவா என்னோடு இருக்கிறார்; என்னுடைய எதிரிகளில் சரிக்கட்டுதலைக் காண்பேன்.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in man.
௮மனிதனை நம்புவதைவிட, யெகோவா மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம்.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in princes.
௯பிரபுக்களை நம்புவதைவிட யெகோவா மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம்.
10 All nations haue compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord shall I destroy them.
௧0எல்லா தேசத்தாரும் என்னை வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; யெகோவாவுடைய பெயரினால் அவர்களை அழிப்பேன்.
11 They haue compassed mee, yea, they haue compassed mee: but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
௧௧என்னைச் சுற்றிலும் வளைந்து கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; யெகோவாவுடைய பெயரினால் அவர்களை அழிப்பேன்.
12 They came about mee like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thornes: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
௧௨தேனீக்களைப்போல என்னை வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; முள்ளில் பற்றின நெருப்பைப்போல அணைந்து போவார்கள்; யெகோவாவுடைய பெயரினால் அவர்களை அழிப்பேன்.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall: but the Lord hath holpen me.
௧௩நான் விழும்படி நீ என்னைத் தள்ளினாய்; யெகோவாவோ எனக்கு உதவி செய்தார்.
14 The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance.
௧௪யெகோவா என்னுடைய பெலனும், என்னுடைய பாடலுமானவர்; அவர் எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானார்.
15 The voice of ioy and deliuerance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
௧௫நீதிமான்களுடைய கூடாரங்களில் இரட்சிப்பின் கெம்பீர சத்தம் உண்டு; யெகோவாவின் வலதுகரம் பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்யும்.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
௧௬யெகோவாவின் வலதுகரம் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறது; யெகோவாவின் வலதுகரம் பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்யும்.
17 I shall not die, but liue, and declare the woorkes of the Lord.
௧௭நான் சாகாமல், பிழைத்திருந்து, யெகோவாவுடைய செய்கைகளை விவரிப்பேன்.
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore, but he hath not deliuered me to death.
௧௮யெகோவா என்னைக் கடினமாகத் தண்டித்தும், என்னைச் சாவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவில்லை.
19 Open ye vnto me the gates of righteousnes, that I may goe into them, and praise the Lord.
௧௯நீதியின் வாசல்களைத் திறவுங்கள்; நான் அவைகளுக்குள் நுழைந்து யெகோவாவை துதிப்பேன்.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.
௨0யெகோவாவின் வாசல் இதுவே; நீதிமான்கள் இதற்குள் நுழைவார்கள்.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard mee, and hast beene my deliuerance.
௨௧நீர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, எனக்கு இரட்சிப்பாக இருந்தபடியால், நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.
22 The stone, which the builders refused, is the head of the corner.
௨௨வீடுகட்டுகிறவர்கள் ஆகாதென்று தள்ளின கல்லே, மூலைக்குத் தலைக்கல்லானது.
23 This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
௨௩அது யெகோவாவாலே ஆனது, அது நம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கிறது.
24 This is the day, which the Lord hath made: let vs reioyce and be glad in it.
௨௪இது யெகோவா உண்டாக்கின நாள்; இதிலே சந்தோஷப்பட்டு மகிழ்வோம்.
25 O Lord, I praie thee, saue now: O Lord, I praie thee nowe giue prosperitie.
௨௫யெகோவாவே, இரட்சியும்; யெகோவாவே, காரியத்தை வாய்க்கச்செய்யும்.
26 Blessed be he, that commeth in the Name of the Lord: wee haue blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
௨௬யெகோவாவுடைய பெயராலே வருகிறவர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர்; யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறோம்.
27 The Lord is mightie, and hath giuen vs light: binde the sacrifice with cordes vnto the hornes of the altar.
௨௭யெகோவா நம்மைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்செய்கிற தேவனாக இருக்கிறார்; பண்டிகைப் பலியைக் கொண்டுபோய் பலிபீடத்தின் கொம்புகளில் கயிறுகளால் கட்டுங்கள்.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, euen my God: therefore I will exalt thee.
௨௮நீர் என் தேவன், நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; நீர் என் தேவன், நான் உம்மை உயர்த்துவேன்.
29 Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
௨௯யெகோவாவை துதியுங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.
