Psalms 118
1 Praise yee the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
Agradecei ao SENHOR, porque ele é bom; pois sua bondade [dura] para sempre.
2 Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
Diga agora Israel, que sua bondade [dura] para sempre.
3 Let the house of Aaron nowe say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
Diga agora casa de Arão, que sua bondade [dura] para sempre.
4 Let them, that feare the Lord, nowe say, That his mercie endureth for euer.
Digam agora os que temem ao SENHOR, que sua bondade [dura] para sempre.
5 I called vpon the Lord in trouble, and the Lord heard me, and set me at large.
Na angústia clamei ao SENHOR; [e] o SENHOR me respondeu, e [me pôs] num lugar amplo.
6 The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me.
O SENHOR está comigo, não temerei; o que poderá me fazer o homem?
7 The Lord is with mee among them that helpe me: therefore shall I see my desire vpon mine enemies.
O SENHOR está comigo entre os que ajudam; por isso verei [o fim] daqueles que me odeiam.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in man.
Melhor é buscar refúgio no SENHOR do que confiar no homem.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in princes.
Melhor é buscar refúgio no SENHOR do que confiar em príncipes.
10 All nations haue compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord shall I destroy them.
Todas as nações me cercaram; [mas foi] no nome do SENHOR que eu as despedacei.
11 They haue compassed mee, yea, they haue compassed mee: but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
Cercaram-me, cercaram-me mesmo; [mas foi] no nome do SENHOR que eu as despedacei.
12 They came about mee like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thornes: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
Cercaram-me como abelhas, mas se apagaram como fogo de espinhos; [porque] foi no nome do SENHOR que eu as despedacei.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall: but the Lord hath holpen me.
Com força me empurraste para que eu caísse; mas o SENHOR me ajudou.
14 The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance.
O SENHOR é minha força e [minha] canção, porque ele tem sido minha salvação.
15 The voice of ioy and deliuerance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
Nas tendas dos justos há voz de alegria e salvação; a mão direita do SENHOR faz proezas.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
A mão direita do SENHOR se levanta; a mão direita do SENHOR faz proezas.
17 I shall not die, but liue, and declare the woorkes of the Lord.
Eu não morrerei, mas viverei; e contarei as obras do SENHOR.
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore, but he hath not deliuered me to death.
É verdade que o SENHOR me castigou, porém ele não me entregou à morte.
19 Open ye vnto me the gates of righteousnes, that I may goe into them, and praise the Lord.
Abri para mim as portas da justiça; entrarei por elas [e] louvarei ao SENHOR.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.
Esta é a porta do SENHOR, pela qual os justos entrarão.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard mee, and hast beene my deliuerance.
Eu te louvarei porque tu me respondeste e me salvaste.
22 The stone, which the builders refused, is the head of the corner.
A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram se tornou cabeça de esquina.
23 This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
Pelo SENHOR isto foi feito, [e] é maravilhoso aos nossos olhos.
24 This is the day, which the Lord hath made: let vs reioyce and be glad in it.
Este é o dia em que o SENHOR agiu; alegremos e enchamos de alegria nele.
25 O Lord, I praie thee, saue now: O Lord, I praie thee nowe giue prosperitie.
Ah, SENHOR, salva-nos! Ah, SENHOR, faze [-nos] prosperar!
26 Blessed be he, that commeth in the Name of the Lord: wee haue blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
Bendito aquele que vem no nome do SENHOR; nós vos bendizemos desde a casa do SENHOR.
27 The Lord is mightie, and hath giuen vs light: binde the sacrifice with cordes vnto the hornes of the altar.
O SENHOR é o [verdadeiro] Deus, que nos deu luz; atai os [sacrifícios] da festa, para [levá-los] aos chifres do altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, euen my God: therefore I will exalt thee.
Tu és meu Deus, por isso eu te louvarei. Eu te exaltarei, meu Deus.
29 Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
Agradecei ao SENHOR, porque ele é bom; pois sua bondade [dura] para sempre.
