Psalms 116
1 I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voyce and my prayers.
আমি সদাপ্রভুকে ভালোবাসি, কারণ তিনি আমার কণ্ঠস্বর শুনেছেন; তিনি আমার বিনতি প্রার্থনা শুনেছেন।
2 For he hath inclined his eare vnto me, whe I did call vpon him in my dayes.
তিনি আমার প্রতি কর্ণপাত করেছেন, সেই কারণে আমি সারা জীবন তাঁর কাছে প্রার্থনা করব।
3 When the snares of death copassed me, and the griefes of the graue caught me: when I founde trouble and sorowe. (Sheol h7585)
মৃত্যুর দড়ি আমাকে বেঁধে ফেলল, পাতালের যন্ত্রণা আমার উপর নেমে এল, দুর্দশায় ও দুঃখে আমি জর্জরিত হলাম। (Sheol h7585)
4 Then I called vpon the Name of the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, deliuer my soule.
তখন আমি সদাপ্রভুর নামে ডাকলাম: “হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাকে রক্ষা করো!”
5 The Lord is mercifull and righteous, and our God is full of compassion.
সদাপ্রভু কৃপাবান ও ধর্মময়, আমাদের ঈশ্বর করুণায় পরিপূর্ণ।
6 The Lord preserueth the simple: I was in miserie and he saued me.
যারা সরলচিত্ত, সদাপ্রভু তাদের রক্ষা করেন; গভীর সংকটকালে তিনি আমাকে রক্ষা করেছিলেন।
7 Returne vnto thy rest, O my soule: for the Lord hath bene beneficiall vnto thee,
হে আমার প্রাণ, তুমি বিশ্রামে ফিরে যাও, কারণ সদাপ্রভু তোমার মঙ্গল করেছেন।
8 Because thou hast deliuered my soule from death, mine eyes from teares, and my feete from falling.
কারণ তুমি, হে সদাপ্রভু, মৃত্যু থেকে আমাকে উদ্ধার করেছ, চোখের জল থেকে আমার চোখ, পতন থেকে আমার পা, উদ্ধার করেছ,
9 I shall walke before the Lord in the lande of the liuing.
যেন আমি জীবিতদের দেশে সদাপ্রভুর সামনে গমনাগমন করি।
10 I beleeued, therefore did I speake: for I was sore troubled.
আমি তোমাকে বিশ্বাস করেছিলাম যখন আমি বলেছিলাম, “হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি অত্যন্ত পীড়িত”
11 I said in my feare, All men are lyers.
উদ্বেগে আমি বলেছিলাম, “সবাই মিথ্যাবাদী।”
12 What shall I render vnto the Lord for all his benefites toward me?
আমি সদাপ্রভুর কাছ থেকে যেসব মঙ্গল পেয়েছি তার প্রতিদানে তাঁকে কী ফিরিয়ে দেবো?
13 I will take the cup of saluation, and call vpon the Name of the Lord.
আমি পরিত্রাণের পাত্রখানি তুলে নেবো আর সদাপ্রভুর নামে ডাকব।
14 I will pay my vowes vnto the Lord, euen nowe in the presence of all his people.
সদাপ্রভুর সব প্রজার সমাবেশে তাঁর প্রতি আমার শপথ আমি পূর্ণ করব।
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saintes.
সদাপ্রভুর বিশ্বস্ত সেবাকারীদের মৃত্যু তাঁর চোখে বহুমূল্য।
16 Beholde, Lord: for I am thy seruant, I am thy seruant, and the sonne of thine handmaide: thou hast broken my bondes.
সত্যিই আমি তোমার দাস, হে সদাপ্রভু; যেমন আমার মা করেছিলেন, আমিও তোমার সেবা করব; আমার শিকল থেকে তুমি আমাকে মুক্ত করেছ।
17 I will offer to thee a sacrifice of prayse, and will call vpon the Name of the Lord.
আমি তোমার উদ্দেশে ধন্যবাদের নৈবেদ্য নিবেদন করব, আর সদাপ্রভুর নামে ডাকব।
18 I will pay my vowes vnto the Lord, euen nowe in the presence of all his people,
সদাপ্রভুর সব প্রজার সমাবেশে তাঁর প্রতি আমার শপথ আমি পূর্ণ করব,
19 In the courtes of ye Lords house, euen in the middes of thee, O Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
সদাপ্রভুর গৃহের প্রাঙ্গণে— হে জেরুশালেম, তোমারই মাঝে করব। সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো।
