Psalms 113

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

Aleluia! Louvai, vós servos do SENHOR, louvai o nome do SENHOR.

2 Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

Seja o nome do SENHOR bendito, desde agora para todo o sempre.

3 The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

Desde o nascer do sol até o poente, seja louvado o nome do SENHOR.

4 The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

O SENHOR está elevado acima de todas as nações; [e] sua glória acima dos céus.

5 Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

Quem é como o SENHOR nosso Deus? Ele que habita nas alturas,

6 Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

Que se abaixa para ver [o que há] nos céus e na terra;

7 He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

Que do levanta o pobre do pó da terra, e levanta o necessitado da sujeira;

8 That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

Para fazê-lo sentar com os príncipes, com os príncipes de seu povo;

9 He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.

Que faz a estéril habitar em família, como alegre mãe de filhos. Aleluia!
