Psalms 113

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

Haleluya! Pujilah, hai hamba-hamba TUHAN, pujilah nama TUHAN!

2 Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

Kiranya nama TUHAN dimasyhurkan, sekarang ini dan selama-lamanya.

3 The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

Dari terbitnya sampai kepada terbenamnya matahari terpujilah nama TUHAN.

4 The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

TUHAN tinggi mengatasi segala bangsa, kemuliaan-Nya mengatasi langit.

5 Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

Siapakah seperti TUHAN, Allah kita, yang diam di tempat yang tinggi,

6 Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

yang merendahkan diri untuk melihat ke langit dan ke bumi?

7 He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

Ia menegakkan orang yang hina dari dalam debu dan mengangkat orang yang miskin dari lumpur,

8 That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

untuk mendudukkan dia bersama-sama dengan para bangsawan, bersama-sama dengan para bangsawan bangsanya.

9 He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.

Ia mendudukkan perempuan yang mandul di rumah sebagai ibu anak-anak, penuh sukacita. Haleluya!
