Psalms 113

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

Hallelujah! Lobet, ihr Knechte des HERRN, lobet den Namen des HERRN!

2 Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

Gepriesen sei der Name des HERRN von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!

3 The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zum Niedergang sei gelobt der Name des HERRN!

4 The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

Der HERR ist erhaben über alle Heiden, seine Herrlichkeit ist höher als der Himmel.

5 Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

Wer ist wie der HERR, unser Gott, der in solcher Höhe thront?

6 Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

Der so tief heruntersieht, auf den Himmel und auf die Erde;

7 He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

der den Geringen aufrichtet aus dem Staub und den Armen erhöht aus dem Kot,

8 That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

daß er ihn setze neben Fürsten, neben die Fürsten seines Volks;

9 He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.

der die Unfruchtbare im Hause wohnen macht, daß sie eine fröhliche Mutter von Kindern wird. Hallelujah!
