Psalms 113

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

Louez l'Éternel! Louez, vous serviteurs de l'Éternel, louez le nom de l'Éternel!

2 Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

Que le nom de l'Éternel soit béni, dès maintenant et à toujours!

3 The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

Du soleil levant au soleil cou-chant, loué soit le nom de l'Éternel!

4 The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

L'Éternel est élevé par-dessus toutes les nations; sa gloire est au-dessus des cieux.

5 Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

Qui est semblable à l'Éternel notre Dieu, qui habite dans les lieux très hauts?

6 Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

Qui abaisse ses regards sur le ciel et sur la terre;

7 He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

qui retire le petit de la poussière, et relève le pauvre du fumier,

8 That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

Pour le faire asseoir avec les grands, avec les grands de son peuple;

9 He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.

Qui donne une maison à la femme stérile, la rendant mère de plusieurs enfants et joyeuse. Louez l'Éternel!
