Psalms 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord, and deliteth greatly in his commandements.

Aleluia! Bem-aventurado é o homem que teme ao SENHOR, e que tem muito prazer em seus mandamentos.

2 His seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

Sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos corretos será bendita.

3 Riches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

Em sua casa [haverá] bens e riquezas, e sua justiça permanece para sempre.

4 Vnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.

A luz brilha nas trevas para os corretos, [para quem é] piedoso, misericordioso e justo.

5 A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

O homem bom é misericordioso, e empresta; ele administra suas coisas com prudência.

6 Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

Certamente ele nunca se abalará; o justo será lembrado para sempre.

7 He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.

Ele não temerá o mau rumor; o seu coração está firme, confiante no SENHOR.

8 His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

Seu firme coração não temerá, até que ele veja [o fim] de seus inimigos.

9 He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

Ele distribui, e dá aos necessitados; sua justiça permanece para sempre; seu poder será exaltado em glória.

10 The wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

O perverso verá, e ficará incomodado; rangerá seus dentes, e se consumirá. O desejo dos perversos perecerá.
