Psalms 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord, and deliteth greatly in his commandements.

Haleluja! Bone estas al la homo, kiu timas la Eternulon Kaj tre amas Liajn ordonojn.

2 His seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

Forta sur la tero estos lia semo; La gento de virtuloj estos benita.

3 Riches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

Bonstato kaj riĉeco estas en lia domo; Kaj lia justeco restas eterne.

4 Vnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.

En mallumo leviĝas lumo por la virtulo. Li estas kompatema, favorkora, kaj justa.

5 A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

Bone estas al la homo, kiu kompatas kaj pruntedonas, Kiu pesas siajn farojn per justeco.

6 Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

Ĉar neniam li falos; Virtulo estos memorata eterne.

7 He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.

Malbonan famon li ne timos; Fortika estas lia koro, ĝi fidas la Eternulon.

8 His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

Senŝanceliĝa estas lia koro; Li ne timas, ĝis li vidas la pereon de siaj malamikoj.

9 He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

Li ŝutas kaj donas al la malriĉuloj; Lia justeco restas eterne, Lia korno altiĝos en honoro.

10 The wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

La malvirtulo vidas kaj ĉagreniĝas, Kunfrapas la dentojn kaj konsumiĝas. La deziro de malvirtuloj pereos.
