Psalms 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord, and deliteth greatly in his commandements.

亞肋路亞！凡敬畏上主的人，真是有福，喜歡他誡命的人，真是有福！

2 His seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

他的子孫在世上必要強盛，義人的後代必要受到讚頌。

3 Riches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

他家中必有權勢財產，他的仁義必存留永遠。

4 Vnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.

上主富有仁愛慈悲公道，像光明在暗處向義人照耀。

5 A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

樂善好施的人必蒙受祝福，祂以正義處理自己的事務。

6 Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

因為他永遠不會失足抖顫，義人必要受人永遠的記念。

7 He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.

噩耗的凶信，不會使他驚慌，因為仰賴上主心志堅強。

8 His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

直到看見他的仇敵蒙羞，他的心志堅強無懼無憂。

9 He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

他散財周濟貧苦的人。他的仁義必萬世留存，他的頭角必受光榮。

10 The wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

罪人見到必要憤恨滿腔，咬自己的牙齒，焦灼難當，惡人的希望終必喪亡。
