Psalms 106
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord because he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.
| هللویاه! خداوند را حمد بگوییدزیرا که او نیکو است و رحمت او تاابدالاباد! | ۱ |
2 Who can expresse the noble actes of the Lord, or shewe forth all his prayse?
| کیست که اعمال عظیم خداوند رابگوید و همه تسبیحات او را بشنواند؟ | ۲ |
3 Blessed are they that keepe iudgement, and doe righteousnesse at all times.
| خوشابحال آنانی که انصاف را نگاه دارند و آن که عدالت را در همه وقت به عمل آورد. | ۳ |
4 Remember me, O Lord, with the fauour of thy people: visite me with thy saluation,
| ای خداوند مرا یاد کن به رضامندیی که با قوم خودمی داری و به نجات خود از من تفقد نما. | ۴ |
5 That I may see the felicitie of thy chosen, and reioyce in the ioy of thy people, and glorie with thine inheritance.
| تاسعادت برگزیدگان تو را ببینم و به شادمانی قوم تو مسرور شوم و با میراث تو فخر نمایم. | ۵ |
6 We haue sinned with our fathers: we haue committed iniquitie, and done wickedly.
| با پدران خود گناه نموده‌ایم و عصیان ورزیده، شرارت کرده‌ایم. | ۶ |
7 Our fathers vnderstoode not thy wonders in Egypt, neither remembred they the multitude of thy mercies, but rebelled at the Sea, euen at the red sea.
| پدران ما کارهای عجیب تو را در مصر نفهمیدند و کثرت رحمت تو را به یاد نیاوردند بلکه نزد دریا یعنی بحر قلزم فتنه انگیختند. | ۷ |
8 Neuerthelesse he saued them for his Names sake, that he might make his power to be knowen.
| لیکن به‌خاطر اسم خود ایشان رانجات داد تا توانایی خود را اعلان نماید. | ۸ |
9 And he rebuked the red Sea, and it was dryed vp, and he led them in the deepe, as in the wildernesse.
| و بحرقلزم را عتاب کرد که خشک گردید. پس ایشان رادر لجه‌ها مثل بیابان رهبری فرمود. | ۹ |
10 And he saued them from ye aduersaries hand, and deliuered them from ye hand of the enemie.
| و ایشان رااز دست دشمن نجات داد و از دست خصم رهایی بخشید. | ۱۰ |
11 And the waters couered their oppressours: not one of them was left.
| و آب، دشمنان ایشان را پوشانید که یکی از ایشان باقی نماند. | ۱۱ |
12 Then beleeued they his wordes, and sang prayse vnto him.
| آنگاه به کلام اوایمان آوردند و حمد او را سراییدند. | ۱۲ |
13 But incontinently they forgate his workes: they wayted not for his counsell,
| لیکن اعمال او را به زودی فراموش کردند و مشورت اورا انتظار نکشیدند. | ۱۳ |
14 But lusted with concupiscence in the wildernes, and tempted God in the desert.
| بلکه شهوت‌پرستی نمودنددر بادیه؛ و خدا را امتحان کردند در هامون. | ۱۴ |
15 Then he gaue them their desire: but he sent leannesse into their soule.
| ومسالت ایشان را بدیشان داد. لیکن لاغری درجانهای ایشان فرستاد. | ۱۵ |
16 They enuied Moses also in the tentes, and Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
| پس به موسی در اردو حسد بردند و به هارون، مقدس یهوه. | ۱۶ |
17 Therefore the earth opened and swallowed vp Dathan, and couered the companie of Abiram.
| و زمین شکافته شده، داتان را فرو برد و جماعت ابیرام را پوشانید. | ۱۷ |
18 And the fire was kindled in their assembly: the flame burnt vp the wicked.
| وآتش، در جماعت ایشان افروخته شده، شعله آتش شریران را سوزانید. | ۱۸ |
19 They made a calfe in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
| گوساله‌ای درحوریب ساختند و بتی ریخته شده را پرستش نمودند. | ۱۹ |
20 Thus they turned their glory into the similitude of a bullocke, that eateth grasse.
| و جلال خود را تبدیل نمودند به مثال گاوی که علف می‌خورد. | ۲۰ |
21 They forgate God their Sauiour, which had done great things in Egypt,
| و خدای نجات‌دهنده خود را فراموش کردند که کارهای عظیم در مصر کرده بود. | ۲۱ |
22 Wonderous woorkes in the lande of Ham, and fearefull things by the red Sea.
| و اعمال عجیبه را در زمین حام و کارهای ترسناک را در بحر قلزم. | ۲۲ |
23 Therefore he minded to destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stand in the breach before him to turne away his wrath, least he shoulde destroy them.
| آنگاه گفت که ایشان را هلاک بکند. اگر برگزیده اوموسی در شکاف به حضور وی نمی ایستاد، تاغضب او را از هلاکت ایشان برگرداند. | ۲۳ |
24 Also they contemned that pleasant land, and beleeued not his worde,
| و زمین مرغوب را خوار شمردند و به کلام وی ایمان نیاوردند. | ۲۴ |
25 But murmured in their tentes, and hearkened not vnto the voice of the Lord.
| و در خیمه های خود همهمه کردندو قول خداوند را استماع ننمودند. | ۲۵ |
26 Therefore hee lifted vp his hande against them, to destroy them in the wildernesse,
| لهذا دست خود را برایشان برافراشت، که ایشان را در صحرااز پا درآورد. | ۲۶ |
27 And to destroy their seede among the nations, and to scatter them throughout the countries.
| و ذریت ایشان را در میان امتهابیندازد و ایشان را در زمینها پراکنده کند. | ۲۷ |
28 They ioyned themselues also vnto Baalpeor, and did eate the offrings of the dead.
| پس به بعل فغور پیوستند و قربانی های مردگان راخوردند. | ۲۸ |
29 Thus they prouoked him vnto anger with their owne inuentions, and the plague brake in vpon them.
| و به‌کارهای خود خشم او را به هیجان آوردند و وبا بر ایشان سخت آمد. | ۲۹ |
30 But Phinehas stoode vp, and executed iudgement, and the plague was staied.
| آنگاه فینحاس بر پا ایستاده، داوری نمود ووبا برداشته شد. | ۳۰ |
31 And it was imputed vnto him for righteousnes from generation to generation for euer.
| و این برای او به عدالت محسوب گردید، نسلا بعد نسل تا ابدالاباد. | ۳۱ |
32 They angred him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was punished for their sakes,
| واو را نزد آب مریبه غضبناک نمودند. حتی موسی را به‌خاطر ایشان آزاری عارض گردید. | ۳۲ |
33 Because they vexed his spirite, so that hee spake vnaduisedly with his lippes.
| زیراکه روح او را تلخ ساختند، تا از لبهای خود ناسزاگفت. | ۳۳ |
34 Neither destroied they the people, as the Lord had commanded them,
| و آن قوم‌ها را هلاک نکردند، که درباره ایشان خداوند امر فرموده بود. | ۳۴ |
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their workes,
| بلکه خویشتن را با امتها آمیختند و کارهای ایشان را آموختند. | ۳۵ |
36 And serued their idoles, which were their ruine.
| و بتهای ایشان را پرستش نمودند تا آنکه برای ایشان دام گردید. | ۳۶ |
37 Yea, they offered their sonnes, and their daughters vnto deuils,
| و پسران و دختران خویش رابرای دیوها قربانی گذرانیدند. | ۳۷ |
38 And shed innocent blood, euen the blood of their sonnes, and of their daughters, whome they offred vnto the idoles of Canaan, and the lande was defiled with blood.
| و خون بی‌گناه راریختند یعنی خون پسران و دختران خود را که آن را برای بتهای کنعان ذبح کردند و زمین از خون ملوث گردید. | ۳۸ |
39 Thus were they steined with their owne woorkes, and went a whoring with their owne inuentions.
| و از کارهای خود نجس شدند ودر افعال خویش زناکار گردیدند. | ۳۹ |
40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, and he abhorred his owne inheritance.
| لهذا خشم خداوند بر قوم خود افروخته شد و میراث خویش را مکروه داشت. | ۴۰ |
41 And hee gaue them into the hande of the heathen: and they that hated them, were lordes ouer them.
| و ایشان را به‌دست امتها تسلیم نمود تا آنانی که از ایشان نفرت داشتند، بر ایشان حکمرانی کردند. | ۴۱ |
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were humbled vnder their hand.
| و دشمنان ایشان بر ایشان ظلم نمودند و زیر دست ایشان ذلیل گردیدند. | ۴۲ |
43 Many a time did hee deliuer them, but they prouoked him by their counsels: therefore they were brought downe by their iniquitie.
| بارهای بسیار ایشان راخلاصی داد. لیکن به مشورتهای خویش براو فتنه کردند و به‌سبب گناه خویش خوار گردیدند. | ۴۳ |
44 Yet hee sawe when they were in affliction, and he heard their crie.
| با وجود این، بر تنگی ایشان نظر کرد، وقتی که فریاد ایشان را شنید. | ۴۴ |
45 And he remembred his couenant towarde them and repented according to the multitude of his mercies,
| و به‌خاطر ایشان، عهدخود را به یاد آورد و در کثرت رحمت خویش بازگشت نمود. | ۴۵ |
46 And gaue them fauour in the sight of all them that lead them captiues.
| و ایشان را حرمت داد، در نظرجمیع اسیرکنندگان ایشان. | ۴۶ |
47 Saue vs, O Lord our God, and gather vs from among the heathen, that we may praise thine holy Name, and glorie in thy praise.
| ای یهوه خدای ما، ما را نجات ده! و ما را از میان امتها جمع کن! تا نام قدوس تو را حمد گوییم و در تسبیح تو فخرنماییم. | ۴۷ |
48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for euer and euer, and let all the people say, So be it. Praise yee the Lord.
| یهوه خدای اسرائیل متبارک باد از ازل تا ابدالاباد. و تمامی قوم بگویند آمین. هللویاه! | ۴۸ |
