Psalms 103
1 A Psalme of David. My soule, prayse thou the Lord, and all that is within me, prayse his holy Name.
Salmo de Davi: Louva ao SENHOR, ó minha alma; e que todo o meu interior [louve] ao seu santo nome.
2 My soule, prayse thou the Lord, and forget not all his benefites.
Louva ao SENHOR, ó minha alma; e não te esqueças de nenhum dos benefícios dele;
3 Which forgiueth all thine iniquitie, and healeth all thine infirmities.
Que perdoa todas as tuas perversidades, e te sara de todas as tuas enfermidades.
4 Which redeemeth thy life from the graue, and crowneth thee with mercy and compassions.
Que resgata tua vida da perdição; que te coroa com bondade e misericórdia.
5 Which satisfieth thy mouth with good things: and thy youth is renued like the eagles.
Que farta tua boca de coisas boas, e tua juventude é renovada como a águia.
6 The Lord executeth righteousnes and iudgement to all that are oppressed.
O SENHOR faz justiça e juízos a todos os oprimidos.
7 He made his wayes knowen vnto Moses, and his workes vnto the children of Israel.
Ele fez Moisés conhecer seus caminhos, e os filhos de Israel [conhecerem] as obras dele.
8 The Lord is full of compassion and mercie, slowe to anger and of great kindnesse.
Misericordioso e piedoso é o SENHOR, que demora para se irar, e é grande em bondade.
9 He will not alway chide, neither keepe his anger for euer.
Ele não reclamará perpetuamente, nem manterá [sua ira] para sempre.
10 He hath not dealt with vs after our sinnes, nor rewarded vs according to our iniquities.
Ele não nos trata conforme nossos pecados, nem nos retribui conforme nossas perversidades.
11 For as high as the heauen is aboue ye earth, so great is his mercie toward them that feare him.
Porque, assim como os céus estão bem mais elevados que a terra, assim também prevalece a bondade dele sobre aqueles que o temem.
12 As farre as the East is from the West: so farre hath he remooued our sinnes from vs.
Assim como o oriente está longe do ocidente, assim também ele tira para longe de nós nossas transgressões.
13 As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that feare him.
Assim como um pai se compadece dos filhos, assim também o SENHOR se compadece daqueles que o temem.
14 For he knoweth whereof we be made: he remembreth that we are but dust.
Porque ele sabe como fomos formados; ele se lembra de que somos pó.
15 The dayes of man are as grasse: as a flowre of the fielde, so florisheth he.
Os dias do homem são como a erva, como a flor do campo, assim ele floresce.
16 For the winde goeth ouer it, and it is gone, and the place thereof shall knowe it no more.
Mas quando o vento passa por ele, logo perece; e seu lugar deixa de ser conhecido.
17 But the louing kindnesse of the Lord endureth for euer and euer vpon them that feare him, and his righteousnes vpon childrens children,
Porém a bondade do SENHOR [continua] de eternidade em eternidade sobre os que o temem; e a justiça dele [está] sobre os filhos de [seus] filhos.
18 Vnto them that keepe his couenant, and thinke vpon his commandements to doe them.
Sobre os que guardam o seu pacto dele, e sobre os que se lembram de dos mandamentos dele, para os praticarem.
19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in heauen, and his Kingdome ruleth ouer all.
O SENHOR firmou o seu trono nos céus, e seu reino domina sobre tudo.
20 Prayse the Lord, ye his Angels, that excell in strength, that doe his commandement in obeying the voyce of his worde.
Bendizei ao SENHOR, ó anjos dele; vós, fortes valentes, que guardais sua palavra, ao ouvirem a voz de sua palavra.
21 Prayse the Lord, all ye his hostes, ye his seruants that doe his pleasure.
Bendizei ao SENHOR todos os seus exércitos; vós que servis a ele, que fazeis o que lhe agrada.
22 Prayse the Lord, all ye his workes, in all places of his dominion: my soule, prayse thou the Lord.
Bendizei ao SENHOR todas as suas obras, em todos os lugares de seu domínio; louva, minha alma, ao SENHOR!
