Psalms 101

1 A Psalme of David. I will sing mercie and iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

௧தாவீதின் பாடல். இரக்கத்தையும், நியாயத்தையும் குறித்துப் பாடுவேன்; யெகோவாவே, உம்மை புகழ்ந்துபாடுவேன்.

2 I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

௨உத்தமமான வழியிலே நேர்மையாக நடப்பேன்; எப்பொழுது என்னிடத்தில் வருவீர்! என்னுடைய வீட்டிலே உத்தம இருதயத்தோடு நடந்துகொள்ளுவேன்.

3 I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

௩தீங்கான காரியத்தை என்னுடைய கண்முன் வைக்கமாட்டேன்; வழி விலகுகிறவர்களின் செயல்களை வெறுக்கிறேன்; அது என்னைப் பற்றாது.

4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will knowe none euill.

௪மாறுபாடான மக்கள் என்னைவிட்டு விலகவேண்டும்; பொல்லாதவனை ஏற்கமாட்டேன்.

5 Him that priuily slandereth his neighbour, wil I destroy: him that hath a proude looke and hie heart, I cannot suffer.

௫பிறனை இரகசியமாக அவதூறுசெய்கிறவனை அழிப்பேன்; பெருமைக் கண்ணனையும் திமிர்பிடித்த மனப்பான்மை உள்ளவனையும் பொறுக்கமாட்டேன்.

6 Mine eyes shalbe vnto the faithfull of the lande, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfite way, he shall serue me.

௬தேசத்தில் உண்மையானவர்கள் என்னோடு குடியிருக்கும்படி என்னுடைய கண்கள் அவர்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாக இருக்கும்; உத்தமமான வழியில் நடக்கிறவன் எனக்கு ஊழியம்செய்வான்.

7 There shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.

௭கபடுசெய்கிறவன் என்னுடைய வீட்டுக்குள் இருப்பதில்லை; பொய்சொல்லுகிறவன் என்னுடைய கண்முன் நிலைப்பதில்லை.

8 Betimes will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquitie from the Citie of the Lord.

௮அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் ஒருவரும் யெகோவாவுடைய நகரத்தில் இல்லாதபடி வேர் அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோக, தேசத்திலுள்ள அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் அனைவரையும் அதிகாலமே அழிப்பேன்.
