< Proverbs 31 >

1 THE WORDS OF KING LEMUEL: The prophecie which his mother taught him.
Ndị a bụ okwu si nʼọnụ Lemuel, eze Masa. Ha bụ okwu ndị ahụ nne eze Lemuel kuziri ya.
2 What my sonne! and what ye sonne of my wombe! and what, O sonne of my desires!
Gee ntị, nwa m, gee ntị, nwa nke afọ m. Gee ntị, nwa m, nwa nke ọziza ekpere m niile.
3 Giue not thy strength vnto women, nor thy wayes, which is to destroy Kings.
Enyela ụmụ nwanyị ike gị, enyekwela ịdị ike gị nʼaka ndị nʼala ndị eze nʼiyi.
4 It is not for Kings, O Lemuel, it is not for Kings to drink wine nor for princes strog drinke,
Lemuel nwa m, ọ bụghị ihe kwesiri ekwesi na ndị eze ga-aṅụ mmanya. O kwesikwaghị ka agụụ ịṅụ mmanya bụrụ ihe ga na-agụ ndị eze.
5 Lest he drinke and forget the decree, and change the iudgement of all the children of affliction.
Ka ha ghara ịṅụbiga mmanya oke si otu a chefuo ikpe ikpe ziri ezi dịka iwu kwuru. Ka ha gharakwa isite nʼịṅụbiga mmanya oke napụ ndị a na-emegbu emegbu ikpe ziri ezi ha kwesiri inweta.
6 Giue ye strong drinke vnto him that is readie to perish, and wine vnto them that haue griefe of heart.

7 Let him drinke, that he may forget his pouertie, and remember his miserie no more.

8 Open thy mouth for the domme in the cause of all the children of destruction.

9 Open thy mouth: iudge righteously, and iudge the afflicted, and the poore.
Kwusie okwu ike, kpeekwa ikpe ziri ezi. Gbooro ndị ogbenye na ndị mkpa na-akpa ọgụ site nʼaka ndị na-emegbu ha.
10 Who shall finde a vertuous woman? for her price is farre aboue the pearles.
Nwanyị nwere ugwu onye ga-achọtali ya? Ọ dị oke ọnụ karịa nkume rubi.
11 The heart of her husband trusteth in her, and he shall haue no neede of spoyle.
Di nwanyị dị otu a na-atụkwasị obi ya niile nʼime ya, ọ dịghị ihe dị mkpa nke na-akọ ya.
12 She will doe him good, and not euill all the dayes of her life.
Ihe nwanyị dị otu a na-ewetara di ya bụ naanị ihe ọma. Ihe ọjọọ ọbụla adịghị esi nʼaka ya abịakwasị di ya ụbọchị niile nke ndụ ya.
13 She seeketh wooll and flaxe, and laboureth cheerefully with her handes.
Ọ na-ahọrọ ajị anụ na flakisi jiri ya na-arụ ọrụ na-atọ aka ya ụtọ.
14 She is like the shippes of marchants: shee bringeth her foode from afarre.
Ọ na-esite nʼebe dị anya na-ebubata ihe oriri nʼụlọ ya dịka a ga-asị na ọ bụ ụgbọ mmiri.
15 And she riseth, whiles it is yet night: and giueth the portion to her houshold, and the ordinarie to her maides.
Tupu chi abọzie, nwanyị a esitelarị nʼihe ndina bilie kwadooro ezinaụlọ ya ihe oriri, ma debekwara odibo ndị inyom na-ejere ya ozi oke ihe oriri nke ha.
16 She considereth a field, and getteth it: and with the fruite of her handes she planteth a vineyarde.
Ọ na-apụ nyochapụta ịdị mma ala ubi, ma zụpụta ya. Ọ bụ ego ọ rụpụtara nʼonwe ya ka o ji arụ ọrụ ubi vaịnị.
17 She girdeth her loynes with strength, and strengtheneth her armes.
Ike ịrụ ọrụ adịghị agwụ ya. Ọ dị nnọọ ike, bụrụkwa onye na-arụpụta ihe dị iche iche.
18 She feeleth that her marchandise is good: her candle is not put out by night.
Ọ na-elezi anya hụ na ihe ahịa o mepụtara dị ezi oke ọnụahịa; ọ bụ nke a mere o ji na-arụ ọrụ ruo nʼime ime abalị.
19 She putteth her handes to the wherue, and her handes handle the spindle.
Nʼọbụaka ya ka o jidere osisi ịtụ ogho akwa; mkpịsịaka ya na-ejidesikwa ozele e ji na-ekwe akwa ike.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poore, and putteth foorth her hands to the needie.
Ọ na-agbasapụ aka inyere ndị ogbenye na ndị mkpa na-akpa aka.
21 She feareth not the snowe for her familie: for all her familie is clothed with skarlet.
Udu mmiri maọbụ oge oke oyi adịghị eche ya uche nʼihi na ndị niile nọ nʼezinaụlọ ya nwere uwe ha ga-eji chụọ oyi.
22 She maketh her selfe carpets: fine linen and purple is her garment.
Ọ na-akpa akwa a na-agbasa nʼelu ihe ndina, ma ya onwe ya na-eyikwa uwe e ji ezi akwa ọcha na akwa odo odo dụọ.
23 Her husband is knowen in the gates, when he sitteth with the Elders of the land.
Di ya bụ onye a na-asọpụrụ nʼọnụ ụzọ ama obodo ebe ọ na-ewere ọnọdụ nʼetiti ndị okenye nke ala ahụ.
24 She maketh sheetes, and selleth them, and giueth girdels vnto the marchant.
Ọ na-akpa ma na-adụkwa akwa dị iche iche, ya na ihe ike nʼukwu, ndị ọ na-eresi ndị ahịa ndị ọzọ.
25 Strength and honour is her clothing, and in the latter day she shall reioyce.
Ọ bụ nwanyị dị ike, onye a na-asọpụrụ asọpụrụ. Ụjọ adịghị atụkwa ya maka ihe ga-eme nʼoge dị nʼihu.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdome, and the lawe of grace is in her tongue.

27 She ouerseeth the wayes of her housholde, and eateth not the bread of ydlenes.

28 Her children rise vp, and call her blessed: her husband also shall prayse her, saying,
Ụmụ ya na-ebili gọzie ya; otu a kwa di ya ga-eto ya ezi otuto.
29 Many daughters haue done vertuously: but thou surmountest them all.
Ọ ga-asị; “E nwere ọtụtụ ndị inyom ndị bụ ezi nwunye nye di ha, ma gị onwe gị kachasị ha niile mma.”
30 Fauour is deceitfull, and beautie is vanitie: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praysed.
Ịma mma nke elu ahụ adịghị egosi ihe mmadụ bụ, nʼihi na ịma mma adịghị adịgide ogologo oge. Ma nwanyị ọbụla nke na-atụ egwu Onyenwe anyị bụ onye e kwesiri ito.
31 Giue her of the fruite of her hands, and let her owne workes prayse her in the gates.
E kwesiri ito ya nʼihi ọrụ ọma niile nke aka ya rụpụtara. Ka ọrụ ya niile wetara ya otuto nʼọnụ ụzọ ama nke obodo.
