Proverbs 3
1 My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.
ಮಗನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೋ.
2 For they shall increase the length of thy dayes and the yeeres of life, and thy prosperitie.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದು, ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದು.
3 Let not mercie and trueth forsake thee: binde them on thy necke, and write them vpon the table of thine heart.
ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡದಿರಲಿ; ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊರಳಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿರಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಹಲಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವು ಬರೆದಿರಲಿ.
4 So shalt thou finde fauour and good vnderstanding in the sight of God and man.
ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ದಯೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and leane not vnto thine owne wisdome.
ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಆಧಾರಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
6 In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy wayes.
ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾಗಿರು. ಆಗ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಾಗ ಮಾಡುವರು.
7 Be not wise in thine owne eyes: but feare the Lord, and depart from euill.
ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಎಂದು ಇರಬೇಡ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡು.
8 So health shalbe vnto thy nauel, and marowe vnto thy bones.
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ತರುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅದು ಪೋಷಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ತರುವುದು.
9 Honour the Lord with thy riches, and with the first fruites of all thine increase.
ನಿನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸು.
10 So shall thy barnes be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall burst with newe wine.
ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣಜಗಳು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬುವವು; ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ತುಂಬಿರುವುದು.
11 My sonne, refuse not the chastening of the Lord, neither be grieued with his correction.
ಮಗನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಸಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವಾಗ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
12 For the Lord correcteth him, whome he loueth, euen as the father doeth the childe in whom he deliteth.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತಂದೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮುದ್ದುಮಗನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವಂತೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಸ್ತುಗೊಳಿಸುವರು.
13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisedome, and the man that getteth vnderstanding.
ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು, ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನೂ ಧನ್ಯನು.
14 For the marchandise thereof is better then the marchandise of siluer, and the gaine thereof is better then golde.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಲಾಭವೂ; ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದು.
15 It is more precious then pearles: and all things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared vnto her.
ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಬಹು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ; ನಿನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟ ವಸ್ತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 Length of dayes is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory.
ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯವಿದೆ; ಎಡಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವೂ ಘನತೆಯೂ ಇವೆ.
17 Her wayes are wayes of pleasure, and all her pathes prosperitie.
ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಸಂತೋಷಕರ; ಅದರ ದಾರಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಂತಿಯ ದಾರಿಗಳೇ.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay holde on her, and blessed is he that retaineth her.
ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದನ್ನು ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
19 The Lord by wisdome hath layde the foundation of the earth, and hath stablished the heauens through vnderstanding.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು, ತಮ್ಮ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರು ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
20 By his knowledge the depthes are broken vp, and the cloudes droppe downe the dewe.
ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅರಿವಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಸೆಲೆಗಳು ಒಡೆದು, ಮೇಘಗಳು ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
21 My sonne, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but obserue wisdome, and counsell.
ಮಗನೇ, ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವು ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
22 So they shalbe life to thy soule, and grace vnto thy necke.
ಅವು ನಿನಗೆ ಜೀವವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಆಭರಣವೂ ಆಗಿರುವುವು.
23 Then shalt thou walke safely by thy way: and thy foote shall not stumble.
ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿರುವೆ; ನೀನು ಎಡವದೆ ನಡೆಯುವೆ.
24 If thou sleepest, thou shalt not bee afraide, and when thou sleepest, thy sleepe shalbe sweete.
ನೀನು ಮಲಗುವಾಗ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆದರಿಕೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀನು ಮಲಗಿದಾಗ ನಿದ್ರೆಯು ಸುಖವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
25 Thou shalt not feare for any sudden feare, neither for the destruction of the wicked, when it commeth.
ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕ ವಿಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಅಂಜುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೂ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡದಿರುವೆ.
26 For the Lord shall be for thine assurance, and shall preserue thy foote from taking.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದವು ಉರುಲಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ಅವರು ಕಾಪಾಡುವರು.
27 Withhold not the good from the owners thereof, though there be power in thine hand to doe it.
ನಿನಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಮಾಡು ಒಳಿತು ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
28 Say not vnto thy neighbour, Go and come againe, and to morow wil I giue thee, if thou now haue it.
ಕೊಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ, “ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾ, ನಾಳೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ.
29 Intend none hurt against thy neighbour, seeing he doeth dwell without feare by thee.
ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನು ಭರವಸೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬೇಡ.
30 Striue not with a man causelesse, when he hath done thee no harme.
ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಿನಗೆ ಯಾವ ತೊಂದರೆ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ದೂರು ನುಡಿಯಬೇಡ.
31 Bee not enuious for the wicked man, neither chuse any of his wayes.
ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಡಬೇಡ; ಅವನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
32 For the frowarde is abomination vnto the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದೆ.
33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.
ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದೈವಶಾಪವಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ನಿವಾಸದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೈವಾಶೀರ್ವಾದವಿರುವುದು.
34 With the scornefull he scorneth, but hee giueth grace vnto the humble.
ದೇವರು ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರನ್ನು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೀನರಿಗಾದರೋ ದೇವರು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
35 The wise shall inherite glorie: but fooles dishonour, though they be exalted.
ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಸನ್ಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವರು; ಆದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನಹೀನರ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ಅವಮಾನವೆ.
