Proverbs 3
1 My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.
Ka capa, kak awipek ve koeh hilh nawh, nak kawlung awh kym lah.
2 For they shall increase the length of thy dayes and the yeeres of life, and thy prosperitie.
Na hqingnaak khawnghii khawkum ingkaw ngaiqeepnaakkhqi ing ni tawmsap kaw.
3 Let not mercie and trueth forsake thee: binde them on thy necke, and write them vpon the table of thine heart.
Qeennaak ingkaw awitak ing nang ce koeh ni hooet seh.
4 So shalt thou finde fauour and good vnderstanding in the sight of God and man.
Cawhtaw, Khawsa ingkaw thlanghqing mik huh awh mikhaileek ingkaw mingleeknaak ce pang kawp ti.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and leane not vnto thine owne wisdome.
Nak kawlung boeih ing Bawipa ce caang na nawh, Na siimnaak awh koeh hang qu;
6 In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy wayes.
Na lam hoeiawh amah ce siim poe nawh, na lam ce nim huh kaw.
7 Be not wise in thine owne eyes: but feare the Lord, and depart from euill.
Namah ngaih awh ak cyina koeh ngai qu nawh; Bawipa ce kqih nawh, thawlhnaak ce cehtaak.
8 So health shalbe vnto thy nauel, and marowe vnto thy bones.
Nak thangqui ham sadingnaak na awm nawh, na quh ham ak thlikna awm kaw.
9 Honour the Lord with thy riches, and with the first fruites of all thine increase.
Na khawhkham ing Khawsa ce kyihcah lah. Na them ak pung law lammacyk boeih ing awm;
10 So shall thy barnes be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall burst with newe wine.
Cawhtaw nak khai baawp ing bee ngen kawm saw, na misur um ing bee poeng kaw.
11 My sonne, refuse not the chastening of the Lord, neither be grieued with his correction.
Ka capa, Bawipa a toelnaak ce koeh husit nawh, A ni toelzyihnaak ce koeh zadam kawp ti.
12 For the Lord correcteth him, whome he loueth, euen as the father doeth the childe in whom he deliteth.
Bawipa ing a lungnak cekhqi ce toel khawi nawh, Pa ing ca a lungnak awh a toelzyih khawi a myihna.
13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisedome, and the man that getteth vnderstanding.
Cyihnaak ak hu ak thlang ingkaw kawcyihnaak ak hu ak thlang taw a zoseen hy.
14 For the marchandise thereof is better then the marchandise of siluer, and the gaine thereof is better then golde.
Cetaw ngun a phu tlo ingkaw sui a phu tlo ang lakawh a phu tlo ngai hy.
15 It is more precious then pearles: and all things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared vnto her.
Suilung a phu tlo lakawh a phu tlo ngai nawh ngaihnaak ing awm am pha thai hy.
16 Length of dayes is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory.
Ak tangkut benawh hqinglung sangnaak awm nawh, ak cawngkut benawh khawhthem ingkaw boeimangnaak ce awm hy.
17 Her wayes are wayes of pleasure, and all her pathes prosperitie.
A lam ce awmhlynaak lampyina awm nawh, a lam boeihboeih ce ngaiqeepnaak ing bee hy.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay holde on her, and blessed is he that retaineth her.
Ak tuu thlang boeih ham hqingnaak thingkungna awm nawh, ak kym thlang boeih ham zoseennaak ni.
19 The Lord by wisdome hath layde the foundation of the earth, and hath stablished the heauens through vnderstanding.
Bawipa ing a cyihnaak ing khawmdek ve syyn nawh, ak kawcyih ing khan ce caksak hy;
20 By his knowledge the depthes are broken vp, and the cloudes droppe downe the dewe.
A thoemnaak ing tuinu ce hqaa sak nawh, cingmai ing daamtui baw sak hy.
21 My sonne, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but obserue wisdome, and counsell.
Ka capa, na mik ing khaw koeh hang seh, cyihnaak ingkaw khawkpoek thainaak ce ak cakna tu;
22 So they shalbe life to thy soule, and grace vnto thy necke.
Na hqingnaak ham hqingnaakna awm nawh, na haawng ham mikhaileek na awm kaw.
23 Then shalt thou walke safely by thy way: and thy foote shall not stumble.
Cawhce na lamawh ak dingna cet kawm tik saw, na khaw am tawngtawh kaw.
24 If thou sleepest, thou shalt not bee afraide, and when thou sleepest, thy sleepe shalbe sweete.
Na ih awm am kqih kawm tik saw, nang zaih nawh na ih awhawm na ih tui kaw.
25 Thou shalt not feare for any sudden feare, neither for the destruction of the wicked, when it commeth.
Kqihlyynaak bawtbet awh ak dang law ce koeh kqih nawh, thlang ak mukkhqi a pha law awhawm koeh kqih kawp ti.
26 For the Lord shall be for thine assurance, and shall preserue thy foote from taking.
Bawipa taw na loetnaak na awm nawh, na khaw thang awhkawng ni doen kaw.
27 Withhold not the good from the owners thereof, though there be power in thine hand to doe it.
Themleek ak hu tyngkhqi a do hly kawi themleek koeh haimah, na kutawh dangsak ham na taak khui taw.
28 Say not vnto thy neighbour, Go and come againe, and to morow wil I giue thee, if thou now haue it.
Na imceng venawh, “Ceh nawh ak changna va sui cang nawh voei law tlaih khawngawi ni pe kawng nyng,” koeh ti, na taak a loeiawh.
29 Intend none hurt against thy neighbour, seeing he doeth dwell without feare by thee.
Na imceng ak khanawh khawboeseet koeh toen, ni yp na nawh na venawh khawksa ni ti na sim loei.
30 Striue not with a man causelesse, when he hath done thee no harme.
Khawboeseetnaak nak khanawh a ma toen awhtaw leehcaihnaak a awm kaana na kut koeh thlak.
31 Bee not enuious for the wicked man, neither chuse any of his wayes.
Khawboeseet ak toen ak thlang koeh ooet nawh a lampyi awh koeh hquut.
32 For the frowarde is abomination vnto the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Ak thymna khaw amak sa taw Bawipa mikhuh awh tyih kawina awm nawh thlakleekkhqi taw pyi nak khqi hy.
33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.
Bawipa a khawsii taw thlakche khqi imawh awm nawh, thlakdyng khqi cunnaak taw zoseenaak ing bee hy.
34 With the scornefull he scorneth, but hee giueth grace vnto the humble.
Thlang ak husitkhqi ce husitkhqi nawh, kawkneemkhqi ce qeennaak ham sak khqi hy.
35 The wise shall inherite glorie: but fooles dishonour, though they be exalted.
Kyihcahnaak taw thlakcyi ing ham nawh chahpyihnaak taw thlakqaw ing ham kaw.
