Proverbs 3
1 My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.
Сине мой, не забравяй поуката ми, И сърцето ти нека пази заповедите ми,
2 For they shall increase the length of thy dayes and the yeeres of life, and thy prosperitie.
Защото дългоденствие, години от живот И мир ще ти притурят те.
3 Let not mercie and trueth forsake thee: binde them on thy necke, and write them vpon the table of thine heart.
Благост и вярност нека не те оставят; Вържи ги около шията си, Начертай ги на плочата на сърцето си.
4 So shalt thou finde fauour and good vnderstanding in the sight of God and man.
Така ще намериш благоволение и добро име Пред Бога и човеците.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and leane not vnto thine owne wisdome.
Уповавай на Господа от все сърце И не се облягай на своя разум.
6 In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy wayes.
Във всичките си пътища признавай Него, И Той ще оправя пътеките ти.
7 Be not wise in thine owne eyes: but feare the Lord, and depart from euill.
Не мисли себе си за мъдър; Бой се от Господа, и отклонявай се от зло;
8 So health shalbe vnto thy nauel, and marowe vnto thy bones.
Това ще бъде здраве за тялото ти И влага за косите ти.
9 Honour the Lord with thy riches, and with the first fruites of all thine increase.
Почитай Господа от имота си И от първаците на всичкия доход.
10 So shall thy barnes be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall burst with newe wine.
Така ще се изпълнят житниците ти с изобилие, И линовете ти ще се преливат с ново вино.
11 My sonne, refuse not the chastening of the Lord, neither be grieued with his correction.
Сине мой, не презирай наказанието от Господа, И да ти не дотегва, когато Той те изобличава,
12 For the Lord correcteth him, whome he loueth, euen as the father doeth the childe in whom he deliteth.
Защото Господ изобличава оня, когото люби, Както и бащата сина, който му е мил.
13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisedome, and the man that getteth vnderstanding.
Блажен оня човек, който е намерил мъдрост, И човек, който е придобил разум,
14 For the marchandise thereof is better then the marchandise of siluer, and the gaine thereof is better then golde.
Защото търговията с нея е по-износна от търговията със сребро, И печалбата от нея по-скъпа от чисто злато.
15 It is more precious then pearles: and all things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared vnto her.
Тя е по-скъпа от безценни камъни И нищо, което би пожелал ти, не се сравнява с нея.
16 Length of dayes is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory.
Дългоденствие е в десницата й, А в левицата й богатство и слава.
17 Her wayes are wayes of pleasure, and all her pathes prosperitie.
Пътищата й са пътища приятни, И всичките й пътеки мир.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay holde on her, and blessed is he that retaineth her.
Тя е дело на живот за тия, които я прегръщат И блажени са ония, които я държат.
19 The Lord by wisdome hath layde the foundation of the earth, and hath stablished the heauens through vnderstanding.
С мъдрост Господ основа земята, С разум утвърди небето.
20 By his knowledge the depthes are broken vp, and the cloudes droppe downe the dewe.
Чрез Неговото знание се разтвориха бездните И от облаците капе роса.
21 My sonne, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but obserue wisdome, and counsell.
Сине мой, тоя неща да се не отдалечават от очите ти; Пази здравомислие и разсъдителност,
22 So they shalbe life to thy soule, and grace vnto thy necke.
Така те ще бъдат живот на душата ти И украшение на шията ти.
23 Then shalt thou walke safely by thy way: and thy foote shall not stumble.
Тогава ще ходиш безопасно по пътя си, И ногата ти не ще се спъне.
24 If thou sleepest, thou shalt not bee afraide, and when thou sleepest, thy sleepe shalbe sweete.
Когато лягаш не ще се страхуваш; Да! ще лягаш и сънят ти ще бъде сладък.
25 Thou shalt not feare for any sudden feare, neither for the destruction of the wicked, when it commeth.
Не ще се боиш от внезапен страх, Нито от бурята, когато нападне нечестивите,
26 For the Lord shall be for thine assurance, and shall preserue thy foote from taking.
Защото Господ ще бъде твое упование, И ще пази ногата то да се не хване.
27 Withhold not the good from the owners thereof, though there be power in thine hand to doe it.
Не въздържай доброто от ония, на които се дължи, Когато ти дава ръка да им го направиш.
28 Say not vnto thy neighbour, Go and come againe, and to morow wil I giue thee, if thou now haue it.
Не казвай на ближния си: Иди върни се пак, И ще ти дам утре, Когато имаш при себе си това, което му се пада.
29 Intend none hurt against thy neighbour, seeing he doeth dwell without feare by thee.
Не измисляй зло против ближния си, Който с увереност живее при тебе.
30 Striue not with a man causelesse, when he hath done thee no harme.
Не се карай с него без причина, Като не ти е направил зло.
31 Bee not enuious for the wicked man, neither chuse any of his wayes.
Не завиждай на насилник човек, И не избирай ни един от пътищата му,
32 For the frowarde is abomination vnto the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Защото Господ се гнуси от опакия, Но интимно общува с праведните.
33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.
Проклетия от Господа има в дома на нечестивия; А Той благославя жилището на праведните.
34 With the scornefull he scorneth, but hee giueth grace vnto the humble.
Наистина Той се присмива на присмивачите. А на смирените дава благодат.
35 The wise shall inherite glorie: but fooles dishonour, though they be exalted.
Мъдрите ще наследят слова, А безумните ще отнесат срам.
