< Proverbs 21 >
1 The Kings heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the riuers of waters: he turneth it whithersoeuer it pleaseth him.
[is] streams of Water [the] heart of a king in [the] hand of Yahweh to all that he desires he turns it.
2 Euery way of a man is right in his owne eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.
Every way of a person [is] upright in own eyes his and [is] weighing hearts Yahweh.
3 To doe iustice and iudgement is more acceptable to the Lord then sacrifice.
To do righteousness and justice [is] chosen by Yahweh more than sacrifice.
4 A hautie looke, and a proude heart, which is the light of the wicked, is sinne.
Haughtiness of eyes and a [person] arrogant of heart [the] lamp of wicked [people] [is] sin.
5 The thoughtes of the diligent doe surely bring abundance: but whosoeuer is hastie, commeth surely to pouertie.
[the] plans of A diligent [person] only to advantage and every hasty [person] only to poverty.
6 The gathering of treasures by a deceitfull tongue is vanitie tossed to and from of them that seeke death.
[the] acquisition of Treasures by a tongue of falsehood [is] a breath driven about seekers of death.
7 The robberie of the wicked shall destroy them: for they haue refused to execute iudgement.
[the] violence of Wicked [people] it will drag away them for they refuse to do justice.
8 The way of some is peruerted and strange: but of the pure man, his worke is right.
[is] crooked [the] way of A person guilty and a pure [person] [is] upright work his.
9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the house top, then with a contentious woman in a wide house.
[is] good To dwell on a corner of a roof more than a woman of contentions and a house of association.
10 The soule of the wicked wisheth euill: and his neighbour hath no fauour in his eyes.
[the] appetite of A wicked [person] it craves evil not he is shown favor in view his neighbor his.
11 When the scorner is punished, the foolish is wise: and when one instructeth the wise, he wil receiue knowledge.
When punish a mocker he becomes wise a naive person and when instruct a wise [person] he receives knowledge.
12 The righteous teacheth the house of the wicked: but God ouerthroweth the wicked for their euill.
[is] giving attention [the] righteous [one] To [the] house of a wicked [person] [he is] subverting wicked [people] to calamity.
13 He that stoppeth his eare at the crying of the poore, he shall also cry and not be heard.
[one who] shuts Ear his from [the] cry of [the] poor also he he will call out and not he will be answered.
14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger, and a gift in the bosome great wrath.
A gift in secrecy it subdues anger and a bribe in the bosom rage strong.
15 It is ioye to the iust to doe iudgement: but destruction shalbe to the workers of iniquitie.
[is] a joy To the righteous [person] to do justice and terror to [those who] do wickedness.
16 A man that wandreth out of the way of wisdome, shall remaine in the congregation of the dead.
A person [who] wanders from [the] way of insight in [the] assembly of [the] shades he will rest.
17 Hee that loueth pastime, shalbe a poore man: and he that loueth wine and oyle, shall not be riche.
[will be] a person of Poverty [one who] loves pleasure [one who] loves wine and oil not he will gain riches.
18 The wicked shalbe a ransome for the iust, and the transgressour for the righteous.
[is] a ransom For the righteous [person] a wicked [person] and in place of upright [people] [one who] acts treacherously.
19 It is better to dwell in the wildernesse, then with a contentious and angry woman.
[is] good To dwell in a land of wilderness more than a woman of (contentions *Q(K)*) and anger.
20 In the house of the wise is a pleasant treasure and oyle: but a foolish man deuoureth it.
Treasure - desirable and oil [are] in [the] habitation of a wise [person] and a fool a person he swallows up it.
21 He that followeth after righteousnes and mercy, shall finde life, righteousnes, and glory.
[one who] pursues Righteousness and loyalty he finds life righteousness and honor.
22 A wise man goeth vp into the citie of the mightie, and casteth downe the strength of the confidence thereof.
A city of warriors he goes up a wise [person] and he brought down [the] strength of trust its.
23 He that keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth his soule from afflictions.
[one who] guards Mouth his and tongue his [is] keeping from troubles self his.
24 Proude, hautie and scornefull is his name that worketh in his arrogancie wrath.
Proud arrogant [is] mocker name his [one who] acts in [the] overflowing of pride.
25 The desire of the slouthfull slayeth him: for his hands refuse to worke.
[the] desire of A sluggard it kills him for they refuse hands his to work.
26 He coueteth euermore greedily, but the righteous giueth and spareth not.
All the day he craves a craving and a righteous [person] he gives and not he keeps back.
27 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination: how much more when he bringeth it with a wicked minde?
[the] sacrifice of Wicked [people] [is] an abomination indeed? if in wickedness he brings it.
28 A false witnes shall perish: but hee that heareth, speaketh continually.
A witness of lies he will perish and a person [who] listens to perpetuity he will speak.
29 A wicked man hardeneth his face: but the iust, he will direct his way.
He makes strong a person wicked with face his and an upright [person] he - (he considers way his. *Q(K)*)
30 There is no wisedome, neither vnderstanding, nor counsell against the Lord.
There not [is] wisdom and there not [is] understanding and there not [is] counsel to before Yahweh.
31 The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but saluation is of the Lord.
A horse [is] prepared for a day of battle and [belongs] to Yahweh the victory.
