< Proverbs 18 >
1 For the desire thereof hee will separate himselfe to seeke it, and occupie himselfe in all wisdome.
Dunu nowa da hina: hou gasa fiyale dawa: sea, ilia da eno dunuma hame dogolegesa. Amola hou amo da dunu huluane da moloidafa dawa: , ilia da amoma gagayei agoai ba: sa.
2 A foole hath no delite in vnderstanding: but that his heart may be discouered.
Gagaoui dunu da noga: le dawa: mu hihisa. E da hi dawa: su fawane noga: iyale dawa: le, eno dunuma olelesa.
3 When the wicked commeth, then commeth contempt, and with the vile man reproch.
Wadela: i hou ea dabe da gogosiasu. Di da dia noga: i hou fisisia, dunu eno ilia dia hou hihi ba: mu.
4 The words of a mans mouth are like deepe waters, and the welspring of wisdome is like a flowing riuer.
Dunu ida: iwane gala amo ea sia: ganodini hahawane dawa: su ba: mu. Fedege sia: , amo da hano wayabo bagade ea lugudu amola hano nawa: li ida: iwane agoai gala.
5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to cause ye righteous to fall in iudgement.
Moloidafa hamosu dunu ilima fofada: nanu, se imunu da defea hame. Be wadela: i hamosu ilima fofada: nanu, se hame imunu, amo amolawane da defea hame.
6 A fooles lips come with strife, and his mouth calleth for stripes.
Gagaoui dunu da sia: ga gegesu hemosea, e da enoga e fama: ne logo doasisa.
7 A fooles mouth is his owne destruction, and his lips are a snare for his soule.
Gagaoui dunu da sia: sia: sea, e da hi gobele fawane wadela: sa. E da hina: sia: amoga fawane e da hina: saniga daha.
8 The wordes of a tale bearer are as flatterings, and they goe downe into the bowels of the belly.
Baligiduli sia: su da hedaidafa. Osobo bagade dunu da amo da: gimusa: hanai gala.
9 He also that is slouthfull in his worke, is euen the brother of him that is a great waster.
Hihi dabuli dunu ea hou da liligi wadela: su dunu amo ea hou defele ba: sa.
10 The Name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth vnto it, and is exalted.
Hina Gode da gasa bagade diasu gado gagagula heda: i agoane ba: sa. Moloidafa dunu da amoga asili, gagili sali dagoi ba: sa.
11 The rich mans riches are his strong citie: and as an hie wall in his imagination.
Be bagade gagui dunu da amo mae dawa: le, ilia muni gagui amo da ili gagili sali agoane dawa: sa. Ilia muni da gagoi gado gagagula heda: i, amo moilai bai bagade sisiga: sa, ilia gagui da agoaiwane gala, ilia dadawa: sa.
12 Before destruction the heart of a man is hautie, and before glory goeth lowlines.
Dunu eno da asaboi dunu ilima fawane nodosa. Be gasa fi dunu da hedolowane dafamu.
13 He that answereth a matter before hee heare it, it is folly and shame vnto him.
Hidadea lalabolalu, fa: no fawane sia: ma. Dia amane hame hamosea, di da gagaoui agoane amola gadesu dunu agoai ba: mu.
14 The spirit of a man will susteine his infirmitie: but a wounded spirit who can beare it?
Di da esalumu hanai galea, dia oloi da uhimu. Be di da amane hame dawa: sea, dia dafawane hamoma: beyale dawa: lusu da asi dagoi ba: mu?
15 A wise heart getteth knowledge, and the eare of the wise seeketh learning.
Bagade dawa: su dunu da dawa: su eno lamu bagade hanai amola eno dawa: ma: ne momagele esala.
16 A mans gift enlargeth him, and leadeth him before great men.
Di da mimogo dunu gousa: musa: dawa: bela: ? Defea! Hahawane dogolegele iasu ema ianu, e gousa: ma.
17 He that is first in his owne cause, is iust: then commeth his neighbour, and maketh inquirie of him.
Dunu da bisili fofada: sea, ea sia: be amo nabasea, ea hou da moloidafa amo dunu ilia dawa: sa. Be gesu dunu da ema adole ba: sea, asigi dawa: su eno da doaga: sa.
18 The lot causeth contentions to cease, and maketh a partition among the mightie.
Gasa bagade dunu aduna da fofada: su diasu ganodini fofada: sea, ela molole ba: sea, ele da ululuale hedele, afae da baligi dagoi ba: mu. Amasea, amo hou da hahamoi dagoi ba: mu.
19 A brother offended is harder to winne then a strong citie, and their contentions are like the barre of a palace.
Dia na: iyado amo noga: le fidima. Amasea, e da moilai bai bagade gasa bagade gagoi amo defele, di gaga: mu. Be dia da ema sia: ga gegesea, e da logo ga: i dagoi defele, di higamu.
20 With the fruite of a mans mouth shall his belly be satisfied, and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Dunu ilia liligi sagai amo defele ha: i manu lasa. Amola ilia sia: amo defele hodo doaga: sa.
21 Death and life are in the power of ye tongue, and they that loue it, shall eate the fruite thereof.
Di sia: be amo da esalusu logo amola bogosu logo hamosu gala. Dia sia: be amo da bogosu logo doasisa: besa: le, dawa: iwane sia: ma.
22 He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing, and receiueth fauour of the Lord.
Uda hogole ba: sea, liligi noga: i ba: mu. Hina Gode da dima asigiba: le, uda noga: iwane dima iaha.
23 The poore speaketh with prayers: but the rich answereth roughly.
Hame gagui dunu da asaboiwane adole ba: sa e fidima: ne, be bagade gagui dunu da gasa fiwane sia: sa.
24 A man that hath friends, ought to shew him selfe friendly: for a friend is neerer then a brother.
Dunu mogili da dogolegei gilisi gala amo da hedolowane dafamu. Be dogolegei na: iyado afae ea mae fisili asigi hou da yolala eyala elea asigi hou baligisa.
