Proverbs 15
1 A soft answere putteth away wrath: but grieuous wordes stirre vp anger.
La blanda respuesta quita la ira: mas la palabra de dolor hace subir el furor.
2 The tongue of the wise vseth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fooles babbleth out foolishnesse.
La lengua de los sabios adornará a la sabiduría: mas la boca de los insensatos hablará fatuidad.
3 The eyes of the Lord in euery place beholde the euill and the good.
Los ojos de Jehová en todo lugar están mirando los buenos y los malos.
4 A wholesome tongue is as a tree of life: but the frowardnes therof is the breaking of ye minde.
La lengua saludable es árbol de vida: mas la perversidad en ella es quebrantamiento de espíritu.
5 A foole despiseth his fathers instruction: but he that regardeth correction, is prudent.
El insensato menosprecia la enseñanza de su padre: mas el que guarda la corrección, saldrá cuerdo.
6 The house of the righteous hath much treasure: but in the reuenues of the wicked is trouble.
En la casa del justo hay gran provisión: mas en los frutos del impío, turbación.
7 The lippes of the wise doe spread abroade knowledge: but ye heart of the foolish doth not so.
Los labios de los sabios esparcen sabiduría: mas el corazón de los insensatos no así.
8 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the righteous is acceptable vnto him.
El sacrificio de los impíos es abominación a Jehová: mas la oración de los rectos es su contentamiento.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination vnto the Lord: but he loueth him that followeth righteousnes.
Abominación es a Jehová el camino del impío: mas él ama al que sigue justicia.
10 Instruction is euill to him that forsaketh the way, and he that hateth correction, shall die.
El castigo es molesto al que deja el camino: mas el que aborreciere la corrección, morirá.
11 Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more the hearts of the sonnes of men? (Sheol h7585)
El infierno y la perdición están delante de Jehová: ¿cuánto más los corazones de los hombres? (Sheol h7585)
12 A scorner loueth not him that rebuketh him, neither will he goe vnto the wise.
El burlador no ama al que le castiga: ni se allega a los sabios.
13 A ioyfull heart maketh a chearefull countenance: but by the sorow of the heart the minde is heauie.
El corazón alegre hermosea el rostro: mas por el dolor del corazón el espíritu es triste.
14 The heart of him that hath vnderstanding, seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of the foole is fedde with foolishnes.
El corazón entendido busca la sabiduría: mas la boca de los insensatos pace fatuidad.
15 All the dayes of the afflicted are euill: but a good conscience is a continuall feast.
Todos los días del afligido son trabajosos: mas el buen corazón, convite continuo.
16 Better is a litle with the feare of the Lord, then great treasure, and trouble therewith.
Mejor es lo poco con el temor de Jehová, que el gran tesoro donde hay turbación.
17 Better is a dinner of greene herbes where loue is, then a stalled oxe and hatred therewith.
Mejor es la comida de legumbres donde hay amor, que de buey engordado, donde hay odio.
18 An angrie man stirreth vp strife: but hee that is slowe to wrath, appeaseth strife.
El hombre iracundo revolverá contiendas: mas el que tarde se enoja, amansará la rencilla.
19 The way of a slouthfull man is as an hedge of thornes: but the way of the righteous is plaine.
El camino del perezoso es como seto de espinos: mas la vereda de los rectos es solada.
20 A wise sonne reioyceth the father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
El hijo sabio alegra al padre: mas el hombre insensato menosprecia a su madre.
21 Foolishnes is ioy to him that is destitute of vnderstanding: but a man of vnderstanding walketh vprightly.
La insensatez es alegría al falto de entendimiento: mas el hombre entendido enderezará el caminar.
22 Without cousel thoughts come to nought: but in the multitude of counsellers there is stedfastnesse.
Los pensamientos son frustrados donde no hay consejo: mas en la multitud de consejeros se afirman.
23 A ioy commeth to a man by the answere of his mouth: and how good is a word in due season?
El hombre se alegra con la respuesta de su boca; y la palabra a su tiempo, ¡cuán buena es!
El camino de la vida es hacia arriba al entendido; para apartarse de la sima de abajo. (Sheol h7585)
25 The Lord will destroye the house of the proude men: but hee will stablish the borders of the widowe.
Jehová asolará la casa de los soberbios: mas él afirmará el término de la viuda.
26 The thoughts of ye wicked are abomination to the Lord: but the pure haue pleasant wordes.
Abominación son a Jehová los pensamientos del malo: mas las hablas de los limpios son limpias.
27 He that is greedie of gaine, troubleth his owne house: but he that hateth giftes, shall liue.
Alborota su casa el codicioso: mas el que aborrece los presentes, vivirá.
28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answere: but the wicked mans mouth babbleth euil thinges.
El corazón del justo piensa para responder: mas la boca de los impíos derrama malas cosas.
29 The Lord is farre off from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
Lejos está Jehová de los impíos, mas él oye la oración de los justos.
30 The light of the eyes reioyceth the heart, and a good name maketh the bones fat.
La luz de los ojos alegra el corazón: y la buena fama engorda los huesos.
31 The eare that hearkeneth to the correction of life, shall lodge among the wise.
El oído que escucha la corrección de vida, entre los sabios morará.
32 Hee that refuseth instruction, despiseth his owne soule: but he that obeyeth correction, getteth vnderstanding.
El que tiene en poco el castigo, menosprecia su alma: mas el que escucha la corrección tiene entendimiento.
33 The feare of the Lord is the instruction of wisdome: and before honour, goeth humilitie.
El temor de Jehová es enseñamiento de sabiduría; y delante de la honra la humildad.
