Proverbs 15
1 A soft answere putteth away wrath: but grieuous wordes stirre vp anger.
১মৃদু উত্তৰে ক্ৰোধ ক্ষান্ত কৰে; কিন্তু কঠোৰ কথাই খং তোলে।
2 The tongue of the wise vseth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fooles babbleth out foolishnesse.
২জ্ঞানীলোকৰ জিভাই জ্ঞানৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানীৰ মুখে অজ্ঞানতাৰ কথা কয়।
3 The eyes of the Lord in euery place beholde the euill and the good.
৩যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টি সকলো ঠাইতে থাকে, ভাল আৰু বেয়াৰ ওপৰত তেওঁৰ দৃষ্টি থাকে।
4 A wholesome tongue is as a tree of life: but the frowardnes therof is the breaking of ye minde.
৪সুস্থ জিভা জীৱন বৃক্ষস্বৰূপ; কিন্তু প্রতাৰণাপূৰ্ণ জিভাই আত্মাক গুৰি কৰে।
5 A foole despiseth his fathers instruction: but he that regardeth correction, is prudent.
৫অজ্ঞানী লোকে নিজৰ পিতৃৰ নিয়মানুৱৰ্তিতা অৱজ্ঞা কৰে; কিন্তু যি জনে শুধৰণিৰ পৰা শিক্ষা লয়, তেওঁ দূৰদৰ্শী।
6 The house of the righteous hath much treasure: but in the reuenues of the wicked is trouble.
৬যি সকলে সত্যতাত চলে, তেওঁলোকৰ ভঁৰাল বৃহৎ হয়; কিন্তু দুষ্ট সকলৰ উপাৰ্জনে তেওঁলোকক সমস্যাত পেলায়।
7 The lippes of the wise doe spread abroade knowledge: but ye heart of the foolish doth not so.
৭জ্ঞানী লোকৰ ওঁঠে জ্ঞানৰ বিষয়ে কয়, কিন্তু অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ হৃদয়ে সেইদৰে নকৰে।
8 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the righteous is acceptable vnto him.
৮দুষ্ট সকলৰ বলিদান যিহোৱাই ঘিণ কৰে; কিন্তু ন্যায়পৰায়ণ লোকৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনাত তেওঁ আনন্দিত হয়।
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination vnto the Lord: but he loueth him that followeth righteousnes.
৯দুষ্ট লোকৰ পথ যিহোৱাই ঘিণ কৰে; কিন্তু সত্যতাক অনুসৰণ কৰা জনক তেওঁ প্ৰেম কৰে।
10 Instruction is euill to him that forsaketh the way, and he that hateth correction, shall die.
১০যিজনে সৎ পথ ত্যাগ কৰে, তেওঁলৈ কঠিন শাস্তি থাকে; আৰু যিজনে অনুযোগ ঘিণ কৰে তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ব।
11 Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more the hearts of the sonnes of men? (Sheol h7585)
১১চিয়োল আৰু বিনাশ যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত লুকাই থকা নাই; তেনেহ’লে কিমান অধিক পৰিমাণে মনুষ্য সন্তান সকলৰ হৃদয় তেওঁৰ দৃষ্টিত থাকে। (Sheol h7585)
12 A scorner loueth not him that rebuketh him, neither will he goe vnto the wise.
১২নিন্দক লোকে অনুযোগত বিৰক্তি পায়; তেওঁ জ্ঞানী লোকৰ ওচৰলৈ নাযায়।
13 A ioyfull heart maketh a chearefull countenance: but by the sorow of the heart the minde is heauie.
১৩আনন্দিত হৃদয়ে মুখমণ্ডলক প্ৰফুল্লিত কৰে; কিন্তু মানসিক যন্ত্রণাই আত্মা ভাঙি দিয়ে।
14 The heart of him that hath vnderstanding, seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of the foole is fedde with foolishnes.
১৪সুবিবেচকৰ হৃদয়ে জ্ঞান বিচাৰ কৰে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ মুখে অজ্ঞানতা গ্রহণ কৰে।
15 All the dayes of the afflicted are euill: but a good conscience is a continuall feast.
১৫নিৰ্যাতিত লোকৰ সকলো দিন কষ্টদায়ক; কিন্তু প্ৰফুল্লিত হৃদয়ৰ ভোজ চিৰস্থায়ী।
16 Better is a litle with the feare of the Lord, then great treasure, and trouble therewith.
১৬বিভ্রান্তিৰ সৈতে বৃহৎ ভঁৰালতকৈ যিহোৱালৈ ভয় কৰি ৰখা অলপেই ভাল।
17 Better is a dinner of greene herbes where loue is, then a stalled oxe and hatred therewith.
১৭হিংসাৰ সৈতে স্বাস্থ্যৱান গৰুতকৈ প্রেমেৰে সৈতে শাক-পাচলি ভোজন কৰাই ভাল।
18 An angrie man stirreth vp strife: but hee that is slowe to wrath, appeaseth strife.
১৮ক্রোধি লোকে বিতৰ্কৰ সৃষ্টি কৰে; কিন্তু ক্ৰোধত ধীৰ লোকে বিবাদ ক্ষান্ত কৰে।
19 The way of a slouthfull man is as an hedge of thornes: but the way of the righteous is plaine.
১৯এলেহুৱাৰ পথ কাঁইটৰ বেৰা স্বৰূপ; কিন্তু ন্যায়পৰায়ণৰ পথ ৰাজপথ স্বৰূপ।
20 A wise sonne reioyceth the father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
২০জ্ঞানৱান পুত্ৰই পিতৃক আনন্দিত কৰে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানলোকে নিজ মাতৃক অবজ্ঞা কৰে।
21 Foolishnes is ioy to him that is destitute of vnderstanding: but a man of vnderstanding walketh vprightly.
২১জ্ঞানশূন্যজনক অজ্ঞান জনে আনন্দ দিয়ে; কিন্তু যি জন বিবেচক, তেওঁ সৰল পথত চলে।
22 Without cousel thoughts come to nought: but in the multitude of counsellers there is stedfastnesse.
২২পৰামৰ্শৰ অবিহনে কৰা পৰিকল্পনা ব্যৰ্থ হয়; কিন্তু বহু লোকৰ পৰামৰ্শত সেয়ে সিদ্ধ হয়।
23 A ioy commeth to a man by the answere of his mouth: and how good is a word in due season?
২৩মানুহে নিজৰ উপযুক্ত উত্তৰত আনন্দ পায়, আৰু উচিত সময়ত কোৱা বাক্য কেনে ভাল।
২৪দূৰদৰ্শী লোকৰ বাবে জীৱনৰ পথ উৰ্দ্ধগামী হয়; যাতে তলত থকা চিয়োলৰ পৰা তেওঁ আতৰিব পাৰে। (Sheol h7585)
25 The Lord will destroye the house of the proude men: but hee will stablish the borders of the widowe.
২৫যিহোৱাই অহঙ্কাৰীলোকৰ উত্তৰাধিকাৰী উচ্ছন্ন কৰে, কিন্তু তেওঁ বিধৱা লোকৰ সম্পত্তি সুৰক্ষিত কৰে।
26 The thoughts of ye wicked are abomination to the Lord: but the pure haue pleasant wordes.
২৬যিহোৱাই দুষ্ট লোকৰ কল্পনা ঘিণ কৰে; কিন্তু দয়াশীলৰ বাক্যবোৰ নিৰ্মল।
27 He that is greedie of gaine, troubleth his owne house: but he that hateth giftes, shall liue.
২৭ডকাইতে নিজৰ পৰিয়াললৈ সমস্যা আনে; কিন্তু ভেঁটি ঘিণ কৰা জন কুশলে থাকে।
28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answere: but the wicked mans mouth babbleth euil thinges.
২৮সত্যতাত চলা জনৰ হৃদয়ে উত্তৰ দিয়াৰ পূৰ্বেই চিন্তা কৰে; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোকৰ মুখেৰে সকলো বেয়া কথা বাহিৰ হয়।
29 The Lord is farre off from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
২৯যিহোৱা দুষ্টলোকৰ পৰা দূৰত থাকে; কিন্তু সত্যতাত চলাজনৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা শুনে।
30 The light of the eyes reioyceth the heart, and a good name maketh the bones fat.
৩০চকুৰ প্ৰসন্নতাই হৃদয়ক আনন্দিত কৰে; আৰু শুভবাৰ্ত্তাই শৰীৰক স্বাস্থ্যৱান কৰে।
31 The eare that hearkeneth to the correction of life, shall lodge among the wise.
৩১যেতিয়া কোনো এজনে তোমাৰ আচৰণ শুধৰাই দিয়ে আৰু যদি তুমি মনোযোগ দিয়া, তেতিয়া তুমি জ্ঞানীসকলৰ মাজত গণ্য হবা।
32 Hee that refuseth instruction, despiseth his owne soule: but he that obeyeth correction, getteth vnderstanding.
৩২যিজনে নিয়মানুবৰ্তিতা অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰে, তেওঁ নিজকে হেয়জ্ঞান কৰে; কিন্তু যি জনে অনুযোগ শুনে, তেওঁ সুবিবেচনা লাভ কৰে।
33 The feare of the Lord is the instruction of wisdome: and before honour, goeth humilitie.
৩৩যিহোৱালৈ ৰখা ভয়ে প্ৰজ্ঞাৰ শিক্ষা দিয়ে, আৰু নম্ৰতা সন্মানৰ আগত আহে।
