Philippians 4
1 Therefore, my brethre, beloued and longed for, my ioy and my crowne, so continue in the Lord, yee beloued.
Kwa hiyo wapendwa wangu, ambao nawatamani, ambao ni furaha na taji yangu. Simameni imara katika Bwana, enyi rafiki wapendwa.
2 I pray Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of one accord in the Lord,
Ninakusihi wewe Eudia, pia ninakusihi wewe Sintike, mrejeshe mahusiano ya amani kati yenu, kwa sababu ninyi, nyote wawili mliungana na Bwana.
3 Yea, and I beseech thee, faithfull yokefellow, helpe those women, which laboured with me in the Gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowe labourers, whose names are in the booke of life.
Kwa kweli, niwasihi pia ninyi watenda kazi wenzangu, muwasaidie hawa wanawake kwa kuwa walitumika pamoja na mimi katika kueneza injili ya Bwana tukiwa na Kelementi pamoja na watumishi wengine wa Bwana, ambao majina yao yameandikwa katika kitabu cha uzima.
4 Reioyce in the Lord alway, againe I say, reioyce.
katika Bwana siku zote. tena nitasema, furahini.
5 Let your patient minde be knowen vnto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Upole wenu na ujulikane kwa watu wote. Bwana yuko karibu.
6 Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes.
Msijisumbue kwa jambo lolote. Badala yake, fanyeni mambo yenu yote kwa njia ya kusali, kuomba na kushukuru. Na mahitaji yenu yajulikane kwa Mungu.
7 And the peace of God which passeth all vnderstanding, shall preserue your heartes and mindes in Christ Iesus.
Basi amani ya Bwana iliyo kuu kuliko ufahamu wote, italinda mioyo na mawazo yenu kwa msaad Kristo Yesu.
8 Furthermore, brethre, whatsoeuer things are true, whatsoeuer things are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iust, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges are worthie loue, whatsoeuer things are of good report, if there be any vertue, or if there be any praise, thinke on these things,
Hatimaye, ndugu zangu; yatakafarini sana mambo yote yenye ukweli, heshima, haki, usafi, upendo, na yale yenye taarifa njema, yenye busara, pamoja na yale yanayohitaji kusifiwa.
9 Which yee haue both learned and receiued, and heard, and seene in mee: those things doe, and the God of peace shalbe with you.
Yatekelezeni mambo yale mliojifunza, mliyopokea mliyoyasikia na yale mliyoyaona kwangu naye Baba yetu wa amani atakuwa nanyi.
10 Nowe I reioyce also in the Lord greatly, that nowe at the last your care for mee springeth afresh, wherein notwithstanding ye were careful, but yee lacked opportunitie.
Ninayo furaha kubwa sana juu yenu katika Bwana kwa kuwa ninyi mmeonyesha tena nia ya kujihusisha kwenu juu ya mahitaji yangu. Kwa kweli, hapo awali mlitamani kunijali kwa mahitaji yangu japo hamkupata fursa ya kunisaidia.
11 I speake not because of want: for I haue learned in whatsoeuer state I am, therewith to bee content.
Sisemi hivyo ili kujipatia kitu kwa ajili ya mahitaji yangu. Kwani nimejifunza kuridhika katika hali zote.
12 And I can be abased, and I can abounde: euery where in all things I am instructed, both to be full, and to be hungrie, and to abounde, and to haue want.
Nafahamu kuishi katika hali ya kupungukiwa na pia katika hali ya kuwa na vingi. Katika mazingira yote haya mimi nimejifunza siri ya namna ya kula wakati wa shibe na jinsi ya kula wakati wa njaa, yaani vingi na kuwa mhihtaji.
13 I am able to do al things through the helpe of Christ, which strengtheneth me.
Ninaweza kufanya haya kwa kuwezeshwa na Yeye anitiaye nguvu.
14 Notwithstanding yee haue well done, that yee did communicate to mine affliction.
Hata hivyo, mlifanya vyema kushiriki nami katika dhiki zangu.
15 And yee Philippians knowe also that in the beginning of the Gospell, when I departed from Macedonia, no Church communicated with me, concerning the matter of giuing and receiuing, but yee onely.
Ninyi wafilipi mnafahamu kwamba mwanzo wa injili nilipoondoka Makedonia, hakuna Kanisa lililoniwezesha katika mambo yanayohusu utoaji na kupokea isipokuwa ninyi pekee yenu.
16 For euen when I was in Thessalonica, yee sent once, and afterward againe for my necessitie,
Hata nilipokuwa Thesaslonika, ninyi mlinitumia msaada zaidi ya mara moja kwa ajili ya mahitaji yangu.
17 Not that I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit which may further your reckoning.
Simaanishi kwamba natafuta msaada. Bali nasema ili mpate matunda yaletayo faida kwenu.
18 Now I haue receiued all, and haue plentie: I was euen filled, after that I had receiued of Epaphroditus that which came from you, an odour that smellleth sweete, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasant to God.
Nimepokea vitu vyote, na sasa nimejazwa na vitu vingi. Nimepokea vitu vyenu kutoka kwa Epafradito. Ni vitu vizuri vyenye kunukia mithiri ya manukato, vyenye kukubalika ambavyo vyote ni sadaka inayompendeza Mungu.
19 And my God shall fulfill all your necessities through his riches with glorie in Iesus Christ.
Kwa ajili hiyo, Mungu wangu atawajazeni mahitaji yenu kwa utajiri wa utukufu wake katikaYesu Kristo.
Sasa kwa Mungu na Baba yetu uwe utukufu milele na milele. Amina. (aiōn g165)
21 Salute all the Saintes in Christ Iesus. The brethren, which are with me, greete you.
Salamu zangu zimfikie kila muumini katika Kristo Yesu. Wapendwa nilio nao hapa wanawasalimieni.
22 All the Saintes salute you, and most of all they which are of Cesars houshold.
Pia waumini wote hapa wanawasalimieni, hususani wale wa familia ya Kaisari.
23 The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you all, Amen. ‘Written to the Philippians from Rome, and sent by Epaphroditus.’
Na sasa neema ya Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo iwe na roho zenu.
