< Philippians 2 >

1 If there be therfore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of loue, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any compassion and mercie,
Bí ìwọ bá ní ìmúlọ́kànle nítorí pé ìwọ wà ní ìṣọ̀kan pẹ̀lú Kristi, bi ìtùnú kan bá wà nínú ìfẹ́ rẹ̀, bí ìdàpọ̀ Ẹ̀mí kan bá wà, bí ìyọ́nú àti ìṣeun bá wà,
2 Fulfill my ioye, that ye be like minded, hauing the same loue, being of one accorde, and of one iudgement,
síbẹ̀ ẹ mú ayọ̀ mi kún nínú ìṣọ̀kan yín, nípa ìfẹ́ kan náà, wíwà ní ẹ̀mí kan náà àti ète kan náà.
3 That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe.
Ẹ má ṣe ohunkóhun nínú ìlépa ara tàbí ògo asán, ṣùgbọ́n ní ìrẹ̀lẹ̀ ọkàn kí olúkúlùkù ro àwọn ẹlòmíràn sí ẹni ti ó sàn ju òun lọ.
4 Looke not euery man on his owne things, but euery man also on the things of other men.
Kí olúkúlùkù yín má ṣe ro ohun ti ara rẹ̀ nìkan, ṣùgbọ́n ti ẹlòmíràn pẹ̀lú.
5 Let the same minde be in you that was euen in Christ Iesus,
Nínú ìbáṣepọ̀ yin pẹ̀lú àwọn ẹlòmíràn, ẹ ni irú ìlépa ọkàn náà bí ti Kristi Jesu.
6 Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God:
Ẹni tí, bí o tilẹ̀ jẹ́ ìrísí Ọlọ́run, kò kà á sí ohun tí ìbá fi ìwọra gbámú láti bá Ọlọ́run dọ́gba.
7 But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man.
Ṣùgbọ́n ó bọ́ ògo rẹ̀ sílẹ̀, ó sì mú àwọ̀ ìránṣẹ́, a sì ṣe é ni àwòrán ènìyàn.
8 He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse.
Ó sì wà ní àwòrán ènìyàn, ó rẹ ara rẹ̀ sílẹ̀, o sì tẹríba títí de ojú ikú, àní ikú lórí àgbélébùú.
9 Wherefore God hath also highly exalted him, and giuen him a Name aboue euery name,
Nítorí náà, Ọlọ́run ti gbé e ga sí ipele tí ó ga jùlọ, ó sì ti fi orúkọ kan ti ó borí gbogbo orúkọ fún un,
10 That at the Name of Iesus shoulde euery knee bowe, both of things in heauen, and things in earth, and things vnder the earth,
pé ni orúkọ Jesu ni kí gbogbo eékún máa wólẹ̀, ní ọ̀run, àti ní orí ilẹ̀ ayé àti ní ìsàlẹ̀ ilẹ̀ ayé,
11 And that euery tongue shoulde confesse that Iesus Christ is the Lord, vnto the glory of God the Father.
àti pé kí gbogbo ahọ́n jẹ́wọ́ pé, Jesu Kristi ni Olúwa, fún ògo Ọlọ́run Baba.
12 Wherefore my beloued, as ye haue alwayes obeyed me, not as in my presence only, but now much more in mine absence, so make an end of your owne saluation with feare and trembling.
Nítorí náà ẹ̀yin ará mi, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹ̀yin ti ń gbọ́rọ̀ nígbà gbogbo, kì í ṣe nígbà ti mo wà lọ́dọ̀ yín nìkan, ṣùgbọ́n pàápàá nísinsin yìí tí èmi kò sí ni àárín yín, ẹ máa ṣiṣẹ́ ìgbàlà yín yọrí pẹ̀lú ìbẹ̀rù àti ìwárìrì,
13 For it is God which worketh in you, both the will and the deede, euen of his good pleasure.
nítorí pé Ọlọ́run ni ó n ṣiṣẹ́ nínú yín, láti fẹ́ àti láti ṣiṣẹ́ fún ète rere rẹ̀.
14 Do all things without murmuring and reasonings,
Ẹ máa ṣe ohun gbogbo láìsí ìkùnsínú àti ìjiyàn.
15 That ye may be blamelesse, and pure, and the sonnes of God without rebuke in the middes of a naughtie and crooked nation, among whom yee shine as lights in the world,
Kí ẹ̀yin lè jẹ́ aláìlẹ́gàn àti oníwà mímọ́, ọmọ Ọlọ́run, aláìlábàwọ́n, láàrín oníwà wíwọ́ àti alárékérekè orílẹ̀-èdè láàrín àwọn ẹni tí a ń rí yín bí ìmọ́lẹ̀ ní ayé.
16 Holding forth the worde of life, that I may reioyce in the day of Christ, that I haue not runne in vaine, neither haue laboured in vaine.
Bí ẹ sì ṣe di ọ̀rọ̀ ìyè mú gírígírí, kí èmi lè ṣògo ni ọjọ́ Kristi pé èmi kò sáré lásán, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kò sì ṣe làálàá lásán.
17 Yea, and though I bee offered vp vpon the sacrifice, and seruice of your faith, I am glad, and reioyce with you all.
Ṣùgbọ́n, bí a tilẹ̀ ń dà mí bí ọtí-ìrúbọ sórí ẹbọ iṣẹ́ ìsìn ìgbàgbọ́ yín, inú mi dùn, mo sì ń bá gbogbo yín yọ̀ pẹ̀lú.
18 For the same cause also be ye glad, and reioyce with me.
Bákan náà ni kí ẹ̀yin máa yọ̀, kí ẹ sì máa bá mi yọ̀ pẹ̀lú.
19 And I trust in the Lord Iesus, to sende Timotheus shortly vnto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I knowe your state.
Mo ni ìrètí nínú Jesu Olúwa, láti rán Timotiu sí yín ni àìpẹ́ yìí, kí èmi pẹ̀lú lè ni ìfọ̀kànbalẹ̀ nígbà tí mo bá gbúròó yín.
20 For I haue no man like minded, who will faithfully care for your matters.
Nítorí èmi kò ni ẹlòmíràn tí ó dàbí rẹ̀, tí yóò máa fi tinútinú ṣe àníyàn yín.
21 For all seeke their owne, and not that which is Iesus Christes.
Nítorí gbogbo wọn ni ó tọ́jú nǹkan ti ara wọn, kì í ṣe àwọn nǹkan ti Jesu Kristi.
22 But yee knowe the proofe of him, that as a sonne with the father, hee hath serued with me in the Gospel.
Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin mọ̀ pé Timotiu pegedé, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọmọ lọ́dọ̀ baba rẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ó sì ti ń bá mi ṣiṣẹ́ pọ̀, nínú iṣẹ́ ìyìnrere.
23 Him therefore I hope to send assoone as I knowe howe it will goe with me,
Nítorí náà, mo ní ìrètí láti rán sí yín ní àìpẹ́ tí mo bá wòye bí yóò ti rí fún mi.
24 And trust in the Lord, that I also my selfe shall come shortly.
Ṣùgbọ́n mo ní gbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú Olúwa, pé èmi tìkára mi pẹ̀lú yóò wá ní àìpẹ́.
25 But I supposed it necessarie to sende my brother Epaphroditus vnto you, my companion in labour, and fellowe souldier, euen your messenger, and he that ministred vnto me such things as I wanted.
Mo kà á sí pé n kò lè ṣàìrán Epafiroditu arákùnrin mi sí yín, àti olùbáṣiṣẹ́ pọ̀ mi, àti ọmọ-ogun ẹlẹgbẹ́ mi, ìránṣẹ́ yín pẹ̀lú, tí ẹ rán láti ṣè ránṣẹ́ fún mi nínú àìní mi.
26 For he longed after all you, and was full of heauinesse, because yee had heard that hee had beene sicke.
Nítorí tí ọkàn rẹ̀ fà sí gbogbo yín, ó sì kún fún ìbànújẹ́, nítorí tí ẹ̀yin gbọ́ pé ó ṣe àìsàn.
27 And no doubt he was sicke, very neere vnto death: but God had mercie on him, and not on him onely, but on me also, least I should haue sorowe vpon sorowe.
Nítòótọ́ ni ó ti ṣe àìsàn títí dé ojú ikú, ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run ti ṣàánú fún un; kì í sì í ṣe fún òun nìkan, ṣùgbọ́n fún èmi pẹ̀lú kí èmi má ṣe ni ìbànújẹ́ lórí ìbànújẹ́.
28 I sent him therefore the more diligently, that when yee shoulde see him againe, yee might reioyce, and I might be the lesse sorowfull.
Nítorí náà ni mo ṣe ní ìtara láti rán an, pé nígbà tí ẹ̀yin bá sì tún rí i, kí ẹ̀yin lè yọ̀ àti kí ìkáyà sókè mi lè dínkù.
29 Receiue him therefore in the Lord with all gladnesse, and make much of such:
Nítorí náà, ẹ fi ayọ̀ púpọ̀ gbà á nínú Olúwa; kí ẹ sì máa bu ọlá fún irú àwọn ẹni bẹ́ẹ̀.
30 Because that for the woorke of Christ he was neere vnto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfill that seruice which was lacking on your part towarde me.
Nítorí iṣẹ́ Kristi ni ó ṣe súnmọ́ ẹnu-ọ̀nà ikú, tí ó sì fi ẹ̀mí ara rẹ̀ wéwu, láti mu àìtó iṣẹ́ ìsìn yín sí mi kún.
