Philippians 2
1 If there be therfore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of loue, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any compassion and mercie,
khrii. s.taad yadi kimapi saantvana. m ka"scit premajaato har. sa. h ki ncid aatmana. h samabhaagitva. m kaacid anukampaa k. rpaa vaa jaayate tarhi yuuya. m mamaahlaada. m puurayanta
2 Fulfill my ioye, that ye be like minded, hauing the same loue, being of one accorde, and of one iudgement,
ekabhaavaa ekapremaa. na ekamanasa ekace. s.taa"sca bhavata|
3 That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe.
virodhaad darpaad vaa kimapi maa kuruta kintu namratayaa svebhyo. aparaan vi"si. s.taan manyadhva. m|
4 Looke not euery man on his owne things, but euery man also on the things of other men.
kevalam aatmahitaaya na ce. s.tamaanaa. h parahitaayaapi ce. s.tadhva. m|
5 Let the same minde be in you that was euen in Christ Iesus,
khrii. s.tasya yii"so ryaad. r"sa. h svabhaavo yu. smaakam api taad. r"so bhavatu|
6 Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God:
sa ii"svararuupii san svakiiyaam ii"svaratulyataa. m "slaaghaaspada. m naamanyata,
7 But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man.
kintu sva. m "suunya. m k. rtvaa daasaruupii babhuuva naraak. rti. m lebhe ca|
8 He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse.
ittha. m naramuurttim aa"sritya namrataa. m sviik. rtya m. rtyorarthata. h kru"siiyam. rtyoreva bhogaayaaj naagraahii babhuuva|
9 Wherefore God hath also highly exalted him, and giuen him a Name aboue euery name,
tatkaara. naad ii"svaro. api ta. m sarvvonnata. m cakaara yacca naama sarvve. saa. m naamnaa. m "sre. s.tha. m tadeva tasmai dadau,
10 That at the Name of Iesus shoulde euery knee bowe, both of things in heauen, and things in earth, and things vnder the earth,
tatastasmai yii"sunaamne svargamartyapaataalasthitai. h sarvvai rjaanupaata. h karttavya. h,
11 And that euery tongue shoulde confesse that Iesus Christ is the Lord, vnto the glory of God the Father.
taatasthe"svarasya mahimne ca yii"sukhrii. s.ta. h prabhuriti jihvaabhi. h sviikarttavya. m|
12 Wherefore my beloued, as ye haue alwayes obeyed me, not as in my presence only, but now much more in mine absence, so make an end of your owne saluation with feare and trembling.
ato he priyatamaa. h, yu. smaabhi ryadvat sarvvadaa kriyate tadvat kevale mamopasthitikaale tannahi kintvidaaniim anupasthite. api mayi bahutarayatnenaaj naa. m g. rhiitvaa bhayakampaabhyaa. m svasvaparitraa. na. m saadhyataa. m|
13 For it is God which worketh in you, both the will and the deede, euen of his good pleasure.
yata ii"svara eva svakiiyaanurodhaad yu. smanmadhye manaskaamanaa. m karmmasiddhi nca vidadhaati|
14 Do all things without murmuring and reasonings,
yuuya. m kalahavivaadarvijatam aacaara. m kurvvanto. anindaniiyaa aku. tilaa
15 That ye may be blamelesse, and pure, and the sonnes of God without rebuke in the middes of a naughtie and crooked nation, among whom yee shine as lights in the world,
ii"svarasya ni. skala"nkaa"sca santaanaaiva vakrabhaavaanaa. m ku. tilaacaari. naa nca lokaanaa. m madhye ti. s.thata,
16 Holding forth the worde of life, that I may reioyce in the day of Christ, that I haue not runne in vaine, neither haue laboured in vaine.
yataste. saa. m madhye yuuya. m jiivanavaakya. m dhaarayanto jagato diipakaa iva diipyadhve| yu. smaabhistathaa k. rte mama yatna. h pari"sramo vaa na ni. sphalo jaata ityaha. m khrii. s.tasya dine "slaaghaa. m karttu. m "sak. syaami|
17 Yea, and though I bee offered vp vpon the sacrifice, and seruice of your faith, I am glad, and reioyce with you all.
yu. smaaka. m vi"svaasaarthakaaya balidaanaaya sevanaaya ca yadyapyaha. m niveditavyo bhaveya. m tathaapi tenaanandaami sarvve. saa. m yu. smaakam aanandasyaa. m"sii bhavaami ca|
18 For the same cause also be ye glad, and reioyce with me.
tadvad yuuyamapyaanandata madiiyaanandasyaa. m"sino bhavata ca|
19 And I trust in the Lord Iesus, to sende Timotheus shortly vnto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I knowe your state.
yu. smaakam avasthaam avagatyaahamapi yat saantvanaa. m praapnuyaa. m tadartha. m tiimathiya. m tvarayaa yu. smatsamiipa. m pre. sayi. syaamiiti prabhau pratyaa"saa. m kurvve|
20 For I haue no man like minded, who will faithfully care for your matters.
ya. h satyaruupe. na yu. smaaka. m hita. m cintayati taad. r"sa ekabhaavastasmaadanya. h ko. api mama sannidhau naasti|
21 For all seeke their owne, and not that which is Iesus Christes.
yato. apare sarvve yii"so. h khrii. s.tasya vi. sayaan na cintayanta aatmavi. sayaan cintayanti|
22 But yee knowe the proofe of him, that as a sonne with the father, hee hath serued with me in the Gospel.
kintu tasya pariik. sitatva. m yu. smaabhi rj naayate yata. h putro yaad. rk pitu. h sahakaarii bhavati tathaiva susa. mvaadasya paricaryyaayaa. m sa mama sahakaarii jaata. h|
23 Him therefore I hope to send assoone as I knowe howe it will goe with me,
ataeva mama bhaavida"saa. m j naatvaa tatk. sa. naat tameva pre. sayitu. m pratyaa"saa. m kurvve
24 And trust in the Lord, that I also my selfe shall come shortly.
svayam ahamapi tuur. na. m yu. smatsamiipa. m gami. syaamiityaa"saa. m prabhunaa kurvve|
25 But I supposed it necessarie to sende my brother Epaphroditus vnto you, my companion in labour, and fellowe souldier, euen your messenger, and he that ministred vnto me such things as I wanted.
apara. m ya ipaaphradiito mama bhraataa karmmayuddhaabhyaa. m mama sahaaya"sca yu. smaaka. m duuto madiiyopakaaraaya pratinidhi"scaasti yu. smatsamiipe tasya pre. sa. nam aava"syakam amanye|
26 For he longed after all you, and was full of heauinesse, because yee had heard that hee had beene sicke.
yata. h sa yu. smaan sarvvaan akaa"nk. sata yu. smaabhistasya rogasya vaarttaa"sraaviiti buddhvaa paryya"socacca|
27 And no doubt he was sicke, very neere vnto death: but God had mercie on him, and not on him onely, but on me also, least I should haue sorowe vpon sorowe.
sa pii. dayaa m. rtakalpo. abhavaditi satya. m kintvii"svarasta. m dayitavaan mama ca du. hkhaat para. m punardu. hkha. m yanna bhavet tadartha. m kevala. m ta. m na dayitvaa maamapi dayitavaan|
28 I sent him therefore the more diligently, that when yee shoulde see him againe, yee might reioyce, and I might be the lesse sorowfull.
ataeva yuuya. m ta. m vilokya yat punaraanandeta mamaapi du. hkhasya hraaso yad bhavet tadartham aha. m tvarayaa tam apre. saya. m|
29 Receiue him therefore in the Lord with all gladnesse, and make much of such:
ato yuuya. m prabho. h k. rte sampuur. nenaanandena ta. m g. rhliita taad. r"saan lokaa. m"scaadara. niiyaan manyadhva. m|
30 Because that for the woorke of Christ he was neere vnto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfill that seruice which was lacking on your part towarde me.
yato mama sevane yu. smaaka. m tru. ti. m puurayitu. m sa praa. naan pa. niik. rtya khrii. s.tasya kaaryyaartha. m m. rtapraaye. abhavat|
