Numbers 35
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the plaine of Moab by Iorden, toward Iericho, saying,
১পাছত যিহোৱাই মোৱাবৰ সমথলত যিৰীহোৰ সন্মুখত যৰ্দ্দনৰ ওচৰত মোচিক ক’লে,
2 Commande ye children of Israel, that they giue vnto the Leuites of the inheritace of their possession, cities to dwell in: yee shall giue also vnto the Leuites the suburbes of the cities round about them.
২“তুমি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলক তেওঁলোকৰ স্বত্ব থকা আধিপত্যৰ পৰা কেইখনমান নগৰ, বাস কৰিবৰ কাৰণে লেবীয়াসকলক দিবলৈ আৰু সেই নগৰে সৈতে তাৰ চাৰিওফালে থকা চৰণী ঠাই তেওঁলোকক দিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিয়া।
3 So they shall haue the cities to dwell in, and their suburbes shall be for their cattell, and for their substance, and for all their beasts.
৩তেতিয়া, তেওঁলোকে নিবাস কৰিবৰ কাৰণে সেই সকলো নগৰ হ’ব আৰু সেই নগৰৰ চৰণী ঠাই তেওঁলোকৰ গৰু, মেৰ, মেৰ-ছাগ আদি পশু চৰাবৰ বাবে হ’ব।
4 And the suburbes of the cities, which ye shall giue vnto the Leuites, from the wall of the citie outward, shalbe a thousand cubites round about.
৪আৰু তোমালোকে যি যি নগৰ লেবীয়াসকলক দিবা, তাৰ চৰণী ঠাই নগৰৰ চাৰিওফালে গড়ৰ বাহিৰে এক হাজাৰ হাতলৈকে হ’ব।
5 And yee shall measure without the citie of the Eastside, two thousand cubites: and of the Southside, two thousand cubites: and of the Westside, two thousand cubites: and of ye Northside, two thousand cubites: and the citie shalbe in ye middes. this shalbe the measure of the suburbes of their cities.
৫আৰু তোমালোকে নগৰৰ বাহিৰে, পূৱদিশে দুই হাজাৰ হাত আৰু দক্ষিণ দিশে দুই হাজাৰ হাত, পশ্চিম দিশে দুই হাজাৰ হাত আৰু উত্তৰ দিশে দুই হাজাৰ হাত জুখি দিবা; তাৰ মাজ ঠাইত নগৰ থাকিব; এয়ে তেওঁলোকৰ নগৰৰ চৰণী ঠাই হ’ব।
6 And of the cities which yee shall giue vnto the Leuites, there shalbe sixe cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint, that he which killeth, may flee thither: and to them yee shall adde two and fourtie cities more.
৬তোমালোকে যি যি নগৰ লেবীয়াসকলক দিবা, সেইবোৰ নগৰৰ মাজত, মানুহ বধী পলাবৰ কাৰণে ছখন আশ্ৰয় নগৰ হ’ব লাগিব; আৰু তাৰ বাহিৰেও বিয়াল্লিশখন নগৰ তোমালোকে তেওঁলোকক দিবা।
7 All the cities which yee shall giue to the Leuites, shalbe eight and fourtie cities: them shall ye giue with their suburbes.
৭তোমালোকে সৰ্ব্বমুঠ আঠচল্লিশখন নগৰ আৰু তাৰ চৰণী ঠায়ে সৈতে দিবা।
8 And concerning the cities which yee shall giue, of the possession of the children of Israel: of many ye shall take more, and of few ye shall take lesse: euery one shall giue of his cities vnto the Leuites, according to his inheritance, which hee inheriteth.
৮আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ আধিপত্যৰ পৰা যি যি নগৰ দিবা, সেইবোৰ নগৰৰ বিষয়ে হ’লে, তোমালোকে অধিকাৰ কৰা অধিক, কমৰ পৰা কম ল’বা; এইদৰে প্ৰত্যেক ফৈদে নিজে পোৱা নিজ আধিপত্য অনুসাৰে, নিজ নিজ নগৰবোৰৰ পৰা কেইখনমান নগৰ লেবীয়াসকলক দিবা।”
9 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
৯পাছত যিহোৱাই মোচিক ক’লে,
10 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye be come ouer Iorden into the land of Canaan,
১০“তুমি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলক কোৱা, তেওঁলোকক এই আজ্ঞা দিয়া, ‘তোমালোকে যেতিয়া যৰ্দ্দন পাৰ হৈ কনান দেশত সোমাবা,
11 Ye shall appoint you cities, to bee cities of refuge for you, that the slayer, which slayeth any person vnwares, may flee thither.
১১তেতিয়া অজ্ঞানত কোনো লোকৰ প্ৰাণ হানি কৰা কোনো নৰ-বধী পলাই যাবলৈ, তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে কেইখনমান নগৰ আশ্ৰয়-নগৰ নিৰূপণ কৰিবা।
12 And these cities shalbe for you a refuge from the auenger, that he which killeth, die not, vntill he stand before the Congregation in iudgement.
১২আৰু মানুহ বধীটো বিচাৰৰ অৰ্থে সমাজৰ আগলৈ নৌ আহোঁতেই যেন নমৰে, এই কাৰণে সেই নগৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ সাধকৰ হাতৰ পৰা তোমালোক ৰক্ষা পোৱা আশ্ৰয়স্থান হ’ব।
13 And of the cities which ye shall giue, sixe cities shall ye haue for refuge.
১৩আৰু যি যি নগৰ তোমালোকে দিবা, সেইবোৰৰ মাজৰ তোমালোকৰ ছখন আশ্ৰয়-নগৰ হ’ব।
14 Ye shall appoint three on this side Iorden, and ye shall appoint three cities in the lande of Canaan which shalbe cities of refuge.
১৪তোমালোকে তাৰ মাজৰ তিনিখন নগৰ যৰ্দ্দনৰ পূৱ পাৰত আৰু আন তিনিখন কনান দেশত দিবা। সেইবোৰ আশ্ৰয়-নগৰ হ’ব।
15 These six cities shalbe a refuge for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for him that dwelleth among you, that euery one which killeth any person vnwares, may flee thither.
১৫যিকোনোৱে অজ্ঞানত মানুহক বধ কৰে, সি যেন সেই ঠাইলৈ পলাব পাৰে, এই কাৰণে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকললৈ, বিদেশীলৈ আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত প্ৰবাস কৰা লোকলৈ সেই ছখন নগৰ আশ্ৰয়স্থান হ’ব।
16 And if one smite another with an instrument of yron that hee die, hee is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.
১৬কিন্তু যদি সি লোহাৰ অস্ত্ৰেৰে তাক মৰাকৈ মাৰে, তেন্তে সি মানুহ বধী; তেনে মানুহবধীৰ অবশ্যে প্ৰাণদণ্ড হ’ব।
17 Also if hee smite him by casting a stone, wherewith hee may be slaine, and he die, hee is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.
১৭নাইবা যিহেৰে মানুহ মাৰিব পাৰে, সি হাতত এনে শিল লৈ যদি তাক মৰাকৈ মাৰে, তেন্তে সি মানুহ বধী; অৱশ্যে তেনে মানুহ বধীৰ প্ৰাণদণ্ড হ’ব।
18 Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may be slaine, if he die, he is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.
১৮নাইবা যিহৰ দ্বাৰাই মৰিব পাৰে, এনে কাঠৰ বস্তু লৈ যদি তাক মৰাকৈ মাৰে, তেন্তে সি মানুহ বধী; অৱশ্যে তেনে মানুহ বধীৰ প্ৰাণদণ্ড হ’ব।
19 The reuenger of the blood himselfe shall slay the murtherer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.
১৯ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিকাৰসাধকে নিজে তেনে মানুহ বধীক বধ কৰিব পাৰিব; সি তাক লগ পালেই বধ কৰিব পাৰিব।
20 But if hee thrust him of hate, or hurle at him by laying of wait, that he die,
২০আৰু যদি সি হিংসা কৰি তাক আঘাত কৰে, বা খাপ দি থাকি তাৰ ওপৰলৈ কিবা বস্তু দলি মাৰে আৰু সি যদি তাতে মৰে,
21 Or smite him through enimitie with his hand, that he die, he that smote him shall die ye death: for hee is a murtherer: the reuenger of the blood shall slay the murtherer when he meeteth him.
২১নাইবা শত্ৰুভাব কৰি তাক হাতেৰে মৰাকৈ মাৰে, তেন্তে, যিজনে তাক মাৰে, অৱশ্যে তাৰ প্ৰাণদণ্ড হ’ব; সি মানুহ বধী; ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিকাৰসাধকে তেনে মানুহ বধীক লগ পালেই তাক বধ কৰিব পাৰিব।
22 But if he pusshed him vnaduisedly, and not of hatred, or cast vpon him any thing, without laying of waite,
২২কিন্তু যদি শত্ৰুভাব নকৰাকৈ অকস্মাতে তাক আঘাত কৰে, বা খাপ দি নথকাকৈ তাৰ গালৈ কিবা দলি মাৰে,
23 Or any stone (whereby he might be slaine) and sawe him not, or caused it to fall vpon him, and he die, and was not his enemie, neither sought him any harme,
২৩বা যিহৰ দ্বাৰাই মৰিব পাৰে, এনে শিল তাৰ ওপৰত তাক নেদেখাকৈ পেলায় আৰু তাতে সি মৰে, তথাপি সি তাৰ শত্ৰু বা অনিষ্টকাৰী নহ’ব।
24 Then the Congregation shall iudge betweene the slayer and the auenger of blood according to these lawes.
২৪তেতিয়া সমাজে সেই প্ৰহাৰকৰ আৰু ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ সাধকৰ মাজত এই শাসন অনুসাৰে বিচাৰ কৰিব।
25 And the Congregation shall deliuer the slayer out of the hande of the auenger of blood, and the Congregation shall restore him vnto the citie of his refuge, whither hee was fled: and hee shall abide there vnto the death of the hie Priest, which is anointed with the holy oyle.
২৫আৰু সমাজে ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ সাধকৰ হাতৰ পৰা সেই মানুহ বধীক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিব; আৰু সি যি ঠাইলৈ পলাইছিল, নিজৰ সেই আশ্ৰয় নগৰলৈ সমাজে তাক পুনৰায় পঠাই দিব; আৰু পবিত্ৰ তেলেৰে অভিষিক্ত হোৱা প্ৰধান পুৰোহিতৰ মৃত্যু নহয়মানলৈকে সি সেই নগৰতে থাকিব।
26 But if the slayer come without the borders of the citie of his refuge, whither he was fled,
২৬কিন্তু এই মানুহ বধী যদি কোনো সময়ত পলাই যোৱা আশ্ৰয় নগৰৰ সীমাৰ বাহিৰ হয়,
27 And the reuenger of blood finde him without the borders of the citie of his refuge, and the reueger of blood slay ye murtherer, he shalbe giltles,
২৭আৰু ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ সাধকে আশ্ৰয় নগৰৰ সীমাৰ বাহিৰে তাক পাই যদি বধ কৰে, তেন্তে সি ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষী নহ’ব।
28 Because he should haue remained in the citie of his refuge, vntill the death of the hie Priest: and after the death of the hie Priest, the slayer shall returne vnto the land of his possession.
২৮কিয়নো প্ৰধান পুৰোহিতৰ মৃত্যু নোহোৱালৈকে সি নিজৰ আশ্ৰয় নগৰত থাকিব লাগিছিল; কিন্তু প্ৰধান পুৰোহিতৰ মৃত্যুৰ পাছত সেই মানুহ বধী নিজ আধিপত্যৰ দেশলৈ উলটি যাব পাৰিব।
29 So these thinges shall be a lawe of iudgement vnto you, throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
২৯আৰু তোমালোকৰ পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে, তোমালোকে নিবাস কৰা সকলো ঠাইতে এয়ে তোমালোকৰ বিচাৰৰ বিধি হ’ব।
30 Whosoeuer killeth any person, the Iudge shall slay the murtherer, through witnesses: but one witnesse shall not testifie against a person to cause him to die.
৩০যি মানুহে কোনো লোকক বধ কৰে, সেই মানুহ বধীক সাক্ষীৰ মুখেই বধ কৰা হ’ব; কিন্তু এজন সাক্ষীৰ কথা কোনো লোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে প্ৰাণদণ্ডৰ বাবে গ্ৰাহ্য নহ’ব।
31 Moreouer ye shall take no recompense for the life of the murtherer, which is worthy to die: but he shalbe put to death.
৩১আৰু প্ৰাণদণ্ডৰ যোগ্য মানুহ বধীৰ প্ৰাণৰ বাবে তোমালোকে কোনো প্ৰায়শ্চিত্ত নল’বা; কিন্তু তাৰ প্ৰাণদণ্ড অৱশ্যে হ’ব।
32 Also ye shall take no recompense for him that is fled to the citie of his refuge, that he should come againe, and dwell in the lande, before the death of the hie Priest.
৩২আৰু যি মানুহ আশ্ৰয় নগৰলৈ পলাই গ’ল, সেই মানুহ পুৰোহিত নৌ মৰোঁতেই দেশত বাস কৰিবলৈ উলটি আহিবৰ বাবে প্ৰায়শ্চিত্ত নল’বা।
33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye shall dwell: for blood defileth the land: and the land cannot be clensed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
৩৩এইদৰে, তোমালোকে থকা দেশ অশুচি নকৰিবা; কিয়নো তেজে দেশ অশুচি কৰে আৰু তাত যি ৰক্তপাত কৰা হয় তাৰ কাৰণে ৰক্তপাতৰ বিনে দেশৰ প্ৰায়শ্চিত্ত হ’ব নোৱাৰে।
34 Defile not therefore the lande which yee shall inhabite, For I dwell in the middes thereof: for I the Lord dwel among the children of Israel.
৩৪এই হেতুকে, তোমালোকে নিবাস কৰা যি দেশৰ মাজত মই বাস কৰোঁ, সেই দেশ তোমালোকে অশুচি নকৰিবা; কিয়নো মই যিহোৱাই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত বাস কৰোঁ’।”
