Numbers 33
1 These are the iourneyes of the children of Israel, which went out of the land of Egypt according to their bands vnder the hand of Moses and Aaron.
૧મૂસા અને હારુનની આગેવાની હેઠળ ઇઝરાયલી લોકો પોતાનાં સૈન્ય જૂથો સહિત મિસર દેશમાંથી બહાર આવ્યા પછી તે લોકોએ જે જે ઠેકાણે મુસાફરી કરી તે આ છે:
2 And Moses wrote their going out by their iourneies according to ye commandement of the Lord: so these are ye iourneies of their going out.
૨જ્યાંથી તેઓ રવાના થયા અને જ્યાં ગયા તે સ્થળોનાં નામ મૂસાએ યહોવાહની આજ્ઞા અનુસાર નોંધી લીધાં હતાં. તેઓની મજલો પ્રમાણે તેઓની કૂચ આ છે.
3 Nowe they departed from Rameses the first moneth, euen the fifteenth day of the first moneth, on the morowe after the Passeouer: and the children of Israel went out with an hie hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
૩તેઓ પહેલા મહિને, એટલે પહેલા મહિનાના પંદરમા દિવસે રામસેસથી રવાના થયા. પાસ્ખાપર્વ પછીની સવારે ઇઝરાયલી લોકો મિસરવાસીઓના દેખતાં જાહેરમાં નીકળ્યા.
4 (For the Egyptians buried all their first borne, which the Lord had smitten among them: vpon their gods also the Lord did execution.)
૪જ્યારે મિસરવાસીઓ પોતાના પ્રથમજનિતો જેઓને યહોવાહે તેઓની મધ્યેથી મારી નાખ્યા તેઓને દફ્નાવતા હતા તે સમયે એવું બન્યું. યહોવાહે બતાવ્યું કે તેમના દેવો કરતા તે વધુ સામર્થ્ય છે.
5 And the children of Israel remoued from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
૫ઇઝરાયલીઓએ રામસેસથી નીકળીને સુક્કોથમાં છાવણી કરી.
6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wildernesse.
૬તેઓએ સુક્કોથથી નીકળીને અરણ્ય કિનારે આવેલા એથામમાં છાવણી કરી.
7 And they remoued from Etham, and turned againe vnto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon, and pitched before Migdol.
૭તેઓ એથામથી નીકળીને પાછા ફરીને બઆલ-સફોનની પાસે આવેલ પી-હાહીરોથ આવ્યા, ત્યાં તેઓએ મિગ્દોલની સામે છાવણી કરી.
8 And they departed from before Hahiroth, and went through the middes of the Sea into the wildernesse, and went three dayes iourney in the wildernesse of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
૮પછી પી-હાહીરોથથી નીકળીને સમુદ્ર મધ્યે થઈને તેઓ અરણ્યમાં ગયા. તેઓએ એથામના અરણ્યમાં ત્રણ દિવસ મુસાફરી કરીને મારાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
9 And they remoued from Marah, and came vnto Elim, and in Elim were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they pitched there.
૯તેઓ મારાહથી આગળ વધીને એલીમ આવ્યા. એલીમમાં પાણીના બાર ઝરા અને ખજૂરીનાં સિત્તેર વૃક્ષો હતાં. ત્યાં તેઓએ છાવણી કરી.
10 And they remoued from Elim, and camped by the red Sea.
૧૦તેઓએ એલીમથી નીકળીને લાલ સમુદ્ર પાસે છાવણી કરી.
11 And they remoued from the red Sea, and lay in the wildernesse of Sin.
૧૧તેઓએ લાલ સમુદ્રથી નીકળીને સીનના અરણ્યમાં છાવણી કરી.
12 And they tooke their iourney out of the wildernesse of Sin, and set vp their tentes in Dophkah.
૧૨તેઓએ સીનના અરણ્યમાંથી નીકળીને દોફકાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
13 And they departed from Dophkah, and lay in Alush.
૧૩દોફકાહથી નીકળીને આલૂશમાં છાવણી કરી.
14 And they remoued from Alush, and lay in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drinke.
૧૪તેઓએ આલૂશથી નીકળીને રફીદીમમાં છાવણી કરી. ત્યાં લોકોને માટે પીવાનું પાણી નહોતું.
15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wildernesse of Sinai.
૧૫તેઓએ રફીદીમથી નીકળીને સિનાઈના અરણ્યમાં છાવણી કરી.
16 And they remoued from the desert of Sinai, and pitched in Kibroth Hattaauah.
૧૬તેઓએ સિનાઈના અરણ્યમાંથી નીકળીને કિબ્રોથ હાત્તાવાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
17 And they departed from Kibroth Hattaauah, and lay at Hazeroth.
૧૭તેઓએ કિબ્રોથ હાત્તાવાહથી નીકળીને હસેરોથમાં છાવણી કરી.
18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
૧૮તેઓએ હસેરોથથી નીકળીને રિથ્માહમાં છાવણી કરી.
19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon Parez.
૧૯રિથ્માહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ રિમ્મોનપેરેસમાં છાવણી કરી.
20 And they departed from Rimmon Parez, and pitched in Libnah.
૨૦રિમ્મોનપેરેસથી નીકળીને તેઓએ લિબ્નાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
21 And they remoued from Libnah, and pitched in Rissah.
૨૧લિબ્નાહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ રિસ્સાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
22 And they iourneyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
૨૨રિસ્સાહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ કહેલાથાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
૨૩કહેલાથાહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ શેફેર પર્વત આગળ છાવણી કરી.
24 And they remoued from mount Shapher, and lay in Haradah.
૨૪શેફેર પર્વતથી નીકળીને તેઓએ હરાદાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
25 And they remoued from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
૨૫હરાદાહથી નીકળીને તેમણે માકેહેલોથમાં છાવણી કરી.
26 And they remoued from Makheloth, and lay in Tahath.
૨૬માકેહેલોથથી નીકળી તેઓએ તાહાથમાં છાવણી કરી.
27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched in Tarah.
૨૭તાહાથથી નીકળીને તેઓએ તેરાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
28 And they remoued from Tarah, and pitched in Mithkah.
૨૮તેરાહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ મિથ્કાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
29 And they went from Mithkah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
૨૯મિથ્કાહમાંથી નીકળીને તેઓએ હાશ્મોનાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and lay in Moseroth.
૩૦હાશ્મોનાહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ મોસેરોથમાં છાવણી કરી.
31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-iaakan.
૩૧મોસેરોથથી નીકળીને તેઓએ બનીયાઅકાનમાં છાવણી કરી.
32 And they remoued from Bene-iaakan, and lay in Hor-hagidgad.
૩૨બનીયાઅકાનથી નીકળીને તેઓએ હોર-હાગિદગાદમાં છાવણી કરી.
33 And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Iotbathah.
૩૩હોર-હાગિદગાદથી નીકળીને તેઓએ યોટબાથાહમાં છાવણી કરી.
34 And they remoued from Iotbathah, and lay in Ebronah.
૩૪યોટબાથાહથી નીકળીને તેઓએ આબ્રોનામાં છાવણી કરી.
35 And they departed from Ebronah, and lay in Ezion-gaber.
૩૫આબ્રોનાથી નીકળીને તેઓએ એસ્યોન-ગેબેરમાં છાવણી કરી.
36 And they remoued from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wildernesse of Zin, which is Kadesh.
૩૬એસ્યોન-ગેબેરથી નીકળીને તેઓએ કાદેશમાં એટલે કે સીનના અરણ્યમાં છાવણી કરી.
37 And they remooued from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
૩૭કાદેશથી નીકળીને તેઓએ અદોમની સરહદે આવેલા હોર પર્વત આગળ છાવણી કરી.
38 (And Aaron the Priest went vp into mount Hor, at the commandement of the Lord, and died there, in the fourtieth yeere after the children of Israel were come out of the lande of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth moneth.
૩૮યહોવાહની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાણે હારુન યાજક હોર પર્વત ઉપર ગયો અને ઇઝરાયલી લોકોના મિસર દેશમાંથી બહાર આવ્યા પછી ચાળીસમાં વર્ષે, એટલે પાંચમા મહિનાના પ્રથમ દિવસે તે ત્યાં મૃત્યુ પામ્યો.
39 And Aaron was an hundreth, and three and twentie yeere olde, when hee dyed in mount Hor.
૩૯હારુન હોર પર્વત પર મરણ પામ્યો ત્યારે તે એકસો તેવીસ વર્ષનો હતો.
40 And King Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the South of the land of Canaan, heard of the comming of the children of Israel)
૪૦કનાની દેશના નેગેબમાં રહેતા અરાદના કનાની રાજાએ ઇઝરાયલી લોકોના આવવા વિષે સાંભળ્યું.
41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
૪૧તેઓએ હોર પર્વતથી નીકળીને સાલ્મોનામાં છાવણી કરી.
42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
૪૨સાલ્મોનાથી નીકળીને તેઓએ પૂનોનમાં છાવણી કરી.
43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
૪૩પૂનોનથી નીકળીને તેઓએ ઓબોથમાં છાવણી કરી.
44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Iie-abarim, in the borders of Moab.
૪૪ઓબોથથી નીકળીને તેઓએ મોઆબીઓની સરહદમાં આવેલા ઈયે-અબારીમમાં છાવણી કરી.
45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
૪૫ઈયે-અબારીમથી નીકળીને તેઓએ દીબોનગાદમાં છાવણી કરી.
46 And they remooued from Dibon-gad, and lay in Almon-diblathaim.
૪૬દીબોનગાદથી નીકળીને તેઓએ આલ્મોન દિબ્લાથાઈમમાં છાવણી કરી.
47 And they remooued from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountaines of Abarim before Nebo.
૪૭આલ્મોન દિબ્લાથાઈમમાંથી નીકળીને તેઓએ નબોની સામે આવેલા અબારીમના પર્વતો આગળ છાવણી કરી.
48 And they departed from the mountaines of Abarim, and pitched in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden toward Iericho.
૪૮અબારીમના પર્વતોથી નીકળીને તેઓએ યરીખોની સામે યર્દન નદીના કિનારે આવેલા મોઆબના મેદાનોમાં છાવણી કરી.
49 And they pitched by Iorden, from Bethieshimoth vnto Abel-shittim in the playne of Moab.
૪૯તેઓએ યર્દનને કિનારે, બેથ-યશીમોથથી આબેલ-શિટ્ટીમ સુધી મોઆબના મેદાનમાં છાવણી કરી.
50 And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the playne of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
૫૦મોઆબના મેદાનોમાં યર્દનને કિનારે યરીખોની પાસે યહોવાહે મૂસાને કહ્યું,
51 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye are come ouer Iorden to enter into the land of Canaan,
૫૧“તું ઇઝરાયલી લોકોને કહે કે, ‘જયારે તમે યર્દન પાર કરીને કનાન દેશમાં જાઓ,
52 Ye shall then driue out all the inhabitants of the land before you, and destroy all their pictures, and breake asunder all their images of metall, and plucke downe all their hie places.
૫૨ત્યારે તમારે દેશના બધા રહેવાસીને તમારી આગળથી કાઢી મૂકવા. તમારે તેઓની બધી કોતરેલી મૂર્તિઓનો નાશ કરવો. તેઓની બધી ગાળેલી મૂર્તિઓનો તથા તેમના ઉચ્ચસ્થાનોનો તમારે નાશ કરવો.
53 And ye shall possesse the lande and dwell therein: for I haue giue you ye land to possesse it.
૫૩તમારે તે દેશનો કબજો લેવો અને તેમાં વસવાટ કરવો, કેમ કે, તે દેશ મેં તમને વતનને સારુ આપ્યો છે.
54 And ye shall inherite the land by lot according to your families: to the more yee shall giue more inheritance, and to the fewer the lesse inheritance. Where the lot shall fall to any man, that shall be his: according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherite.
૫૪તમારે ચિઠ્ઠી નાખીને તે દેશ તમારા કુળ પ્રમાણે વહેંચી લેવો. વધારે સંખ્યા ધરાવતા કુળને વધારે વિસ્તાર ધરાવતા દેશનો ભાગ અને ઓછી સંખ્યા ધરાવતા કુળને ઓછો વિસ્તાર ધરાવતા દેશનો ભાગ વહેંચી આપવો. દરેક કુળના નામની ચિઠ્ઠી જ્યાં પડે તે પ્રદેશ તેને મળે. તમારા પિતૃઓના કુળો પ્રમાણે દેશનો વારસો તમને મળે.
55 But if ye will not driue out the inhabitants of the land before you, then those which yee let ramaine of them, shalbe prickes in your eyes, and thornes in your sides, and shall vexe you in the land wherein ye dwell.
૫૫પણ જો તમે તે દેશના રહેવાસીઓને તમારી આગળથી હાંકી નહિ કાઢો, તો તેઓમાંના જેઓને તમે રહેવા દેશો તેઓ તમારી આંખમાં કણીરૂપ અને તમારા પડખામાં કાંટારૂપ થઈ પડશે. જે દેશમાં તમે વસો છો ત્યાં તેઓ તમારા જીવનો પર દુઃખ લાવશે.
56 Moreouer, it shall come to passe, that I shall doe vnto you, as I thought to do vnto them.
૫૬અને એવું થશે કે મેં તે લોકોની જે દશા કરવાનું ધાર્યું હતું તે હું તમારી સાથે કરીશ.’”
