Numbers 31
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
2 Reuenge the children of Israel of the Midianites, and afterwarde shalt thou be gathered vnto thy people.
“ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସକାଶେ ମିଦୀୟନୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦିଅ; ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଂଗୃହୀତ ହେବ।”
3 And Moses spake to the people, saying, Harnesse some of you vnto warre, and let them goe against Midian, to execute the vengeance of the Lord against Midian.
ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର; ସେମାନେ ମିଦୀୟନୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦଣ୍ଡାଜ୍ଞା ସଫଳ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମିଦୀୟନୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯିବେ।
4 A thousande of euery tribe throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye sende to the warre.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବଂଶରୁ ଏକ ଏକ ସହସ୍ର ଲୋକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ପଠାଇବ।”
5 So there were taken out of the thousands of Israel, twelue thousande prepared vnto warre, of euery tribe a thousand.
ତହୁଁ ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବଂଶରୁ ଏକ ଏକ ସହସ୍ର ଲୋକ, ଏହିରୂପେ ବାର ସହସ୍ର ଲୋକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ସଜ୍ଜିତ ହେଲେ।
6 And Moses sent them to the warre, euen a thousand of euery tribe, and sent them with Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar the Priest to the warre: and the holy instruments, that is, the trumpets to blow were in his hand.
ପୁଣି, ମୋଶା ଏକ ଏକ ବଂଶରୁ ଏକ ଏକ ସହସ୍ର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ ଓ ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକର ପୁତ୍ର ପୀନହସ୍ର ହସ୍ତରେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ପାତ୍ର ଓ ରଣତୂରୀ ଦେଇ ତାହାକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।
7 And they warred against Midian, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and slue all the males.
ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ମିଦୀୟନୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପୁରୁଷକୁ ବଧ କଲେ।
8 They slue also the Kings of Midian among them that were slaine: Eui and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur and Reba fiue kings of Midian, and they slue Balaam the sonne of Beor with the sworde:
ଆଉ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ହତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେମାନେ ମିଦୀୟନୀୟ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଇବି, ରେକମ୍, ସୂର୍, ହୂର ଓ ରେବା, ଏହି ମିଦୀୟନୀୟ ପାଞ୍ଚ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କଲେ; ବିୟୋରର ପୁତ୍ର ବିଲୀୟମ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବଧ କଲେ।
9 But the children of Israel tooke the women of Midian prisoners, and their children, and spoyled all their cattell, and all their flockes, and all their goods.
ଆଉ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମିଦୀୟନର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଲେ; ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁ, ସମସ୍ତ ମେଷପଲ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଲୁଟି କରି ନେଲେ।
10 And they burnt all their cities, wherein they dwelt, and all their villages with fire.
ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସକଳ ନିବାସ ନଗର ଓ ସକଳ ଛାଉଣି ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କଲେ।
11 And they tooke all the spoyle and all the pray both of men and beastes.
ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ, ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତ ଧୃତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁ ନେଇଗଲେ।
12 And they brought the captiues and that which they had taken, and the spoyle vnto Moses and to Eleazar the Priest, and vnto the Congregation of the children of Israel, into ye campe in the playne of Moab, which was by Iorden toward Iericho.
ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଯିରୀହୋ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ତୀରସ୍ଥ ମୋୟାବ-ପଦାରେ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ଛାଉଣିକୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର, ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକର, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ନିକଟକୁ ସେହି ବନ୍ଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଧୃତ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସକଳ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଆଣିଲେ।
13 Then Moses and Eleazar the Priest, and all the princes of the Congregation went out of the campe to meete them.
ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା, ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକ ଓ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିବାକୁ ଛାଉଣିର ବାହାରକୁ ଗଲେ।
14 And Moses was angry with the captaines of the hoste, with the captaines ouer thousands, and captaines ouer hundreds, which came from the warre and battel.
ସେତେବେଳେ ମୋଶା ଯୁଦ୍ଧକ୍ଷେତ୍ରରୁ ଆଗତ ସେନାପତିମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସହସ୍ରପତି ଓ ଶତପତିମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୋଧ କଲେ।
15 And Moses sayde vnto them, What? haue ye saued all the women?
ଆଉ ମୋଶା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବିତ ରଖିଅଛ?
16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel through the counsell of Balaam to commit a trespasse against the Lord, as concerning Peor, and there came a plague among the Congregation of the Lord.
ଦେଖ, ଏମାନେ ବିଲୀୟମ୍ର ପରାମର୍ଶରେ ପିୟୋର ଦେବତା ବିଷୟରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସତ୍ୟ-ଲଙ୍ଘନ କରାଇଲେ, ତହିଁ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମହାମାରୀ ହେଲା।
17 Now therefore, slay all the males among the children, and kill all the women that haue knowen man by carnall copulation.
ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏବେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପୁରୁଷ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କର, ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକମାନେ ପୁରୁଷର ସହବାସ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କର।
18 But all the women children that haue not knowen carnall copulation, keepe aliue for your selues.
ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀର ପିଲାମାନେ ପୁରୁଷର ସହବାସ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହୋଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜୀବିତ ରଖ।
19 And ye shall remaine without the host seuen dayes, all that haue killed any person, and all that haue touched any dead, and purifie both your selues and your prisoners the third day and the seuenth.
ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସାତ ଦିନ ଛାଉଣିର ବାହାରେ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ହତ୍ୟା କରିଅଛ ଓ ହତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରିଅଛ, ସମସ୍ତେ ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନରେ, ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାପରୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କର।
20 Also ye shall purifie euery garment and all that is made of skins and al worke of goates heare, and all things made of wood.
ପୁଣି, ଯାବତୀୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଚର୍ମ ନିର୍ମିତ ଯାବତୀୟ ବସ୍ତୁ, ଛାଗର ଲୋମରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ଯାବତୀୟ ବସ୍ତୁ ଓ କାଷ୍ଠନିର୍ମିତ ଯାବତୀୟ ବସ୍ତୁ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାପରୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କରିବ।”
21 And Eleazar ye Priest sayd vnto the men of warre, which went to the battel, This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord commanded Moses,
ତହୁଁ ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁର ବିଧି ଏହି;
22 As for gold, and siluer, brasse, yron, tynne, and lead:
ତଥାପି ସୁନା, ରୂପା, ପିତ୍ତଳ, ଲୁହା, ଦସ୍ତା ଓ ସୀସା,
23 Euen all that may abide the fire, yee shall make it goe through the fire, and it shalbe cleane: yet, it shalbe purified with the water of purification: and all that suffereth not the fire, yee shall cause to passe by the water.
ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଅଗ୍ନି ସହିପାରେ, ସେସବୁକୁ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ପକାଇବ, ତହିଁରେ ତାହା ଶୁଚି ହେବ; ତେବେ ହେଁ ତାହା ପାପାର୍ଥକ ଜଳରେ ପରିଷ୍କୃତ କରାଯିବ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଅଗ୍ନି ସହେ ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଳରେ ପକାଇବ।
24 Ye shall wash also your clothes the seuenth day, and ye shalbe cleane: and afterward ye shall come into the Hoste.
ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଧୋଇବ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶୁଚି ହେବ; ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଛାଉଣିରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ।”
25 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
26 Take the summe of the praie that was taken, both of persons and of cattell, thou and Eleazar the Priest, and the chiefe fathers of the Congregation.
“ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକ ଓ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀସ୍ଥ ପିତୃଗୃହର ପ୍ରଧାନମାନେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଧୃତ ଜୀବଗଣର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ବନ୍ଦୀ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଓ ପଶୁର ସଂଖ୍ୟା କର।
27 And deuide the praye betweene the souldiers that went to the warre, and all the Congregation.
ପୁଣି, ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଧୃତ ସେହି ଜୀବମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ନିପୁଣ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିଭାଗ କର।
28 And thou shalt take a tribute vnto ye Lord of the men of warre, which went out to battel: one person of fiue hundreth, both of the persons, and of the beeues, and of the asses, and of the sheepe.
ପୁଣି, ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ କର ଗ୍ରହଣ କର; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଲଭ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧାଂଶରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ଗୋରୁ, ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ଓ ମେଷମାନଙ୍କର,
29 Yee shall take it of their halfe and giue it vnto Eleazar the Priest, as an heaue offring of the Lord.
ପ୍ରତି ପାଞ୍ଚଶହରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଲେଖାଏଁ ଜୀବ ନେଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନୀୟ ଉପହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକକୁ ଦିଅ;
30 But of the halfe of the children of Israel thou shalt take one, taken out of fiftie, both of the persons, of the beeues, of the asses, and of the sheepe, euen of all the cattel: and thou shalt giue them vnto the Leuites, which haue the charge of the Tabernacle of the Lord.
ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଲଭ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧାଂଶରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ଗୋରୁ, ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ଓ ମେଷାଦି ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପାଞ୍ଚଶହରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଲେଖାଏଁ ନେଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ-ରକ୍ଷକ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅ;”
31 And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ମୋଶା ଓ ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକ କଲେ।
32 And the bootie, to wit, the rest of the praie which the men of warre had spoyled, was sixe hundreth seuentie and fiue thousand sheepe,
ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନେ ଲୁଟିତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଜୀବ ଧରିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା,
33 And seuentie and two thousand beeues,
ଛଅ ଲକ୍ଷ ପଞ୍ଚସ୍ତରି ହଜାର ମେଷ
34 And three score and one thousand asses,
ଓ ବାସ୍ତରି ହଜାର ଗୋରୁ, ଏକଷଠି ହଜାର ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ;
35 And two and thirtie thousande persons in all, of women that had lyen by no man.
ଆଉ ପୁରୁଷ-ସହବାସ ଅଜ୍ଞାତା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ବତିଶ ହଜାର ଥିଲେ।
36 And the halfe, to wit, the part of them that went out to warre touching the nomber of sheepe, was three hundreth seuen and thirtie thousand, and fiue hundreth.
ତହିଁରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଲଭ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧାଂଶର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ତିନି ଲକ୍ଷ ସଇଁତିରିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ମେଷ।
37 And the Lordes tribute of the sheepe was sixe hundreth and seuentie and fiue:
ପୁଣି, ସେହି ମେଷ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଛଅ ଶହ ପଞ୍ଚସ୍ତରି ମେଷ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା।
38 And the beeues were six and thirty thousad, whereof the Lordes tribute was seuentie and two.
ଆଉ ଗୋରୁ ଛତିଶ ହଜାର, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ବାସ୍ତରି ଗୋରୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା।
39 And the asses were thirtie thousande and fiue hundreth, whereof the Lordes tribute was three score and one:
ଆଉ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ତିରିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଏକଷଠି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା।
40 And of persons sixtene thousand, whereof the Lordes tribute was two and thirtie persons.
ପୁଣି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଷୋଳ ସହସ୍ର, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ବତିଶ ଜଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା।
41 And Moses gaue the tribute of the Lordes offring vnto Eleazar the Priest, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଉତ୍ତୋଳନୀୟ ଉପହାର ସ୍ୱରୂପେ ସେହି କର ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକକୁ ଦେଲେ।
42 And of the halfe of the children of Israel, which Moses deuided from the men of warre,
ପୁଣି, ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କ ଅଂଶ ଭିନ୍ନ ଯେଉଁ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧାଂଶ ମୋଶା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଥିଲେ;
43 (For the halfe that perteined vnto the Congregation, was three hundreth thirtie and seuen thousand sheepe and fiue hundreth,
ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ଲଭ୍ୟ ସେହି ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧାଂଶ ସଂଖ୍ୟାରେ ତିନି ଲକ୍ଷ ସଇଁତିରିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ମେଷ,
44 And sixe and thirtie thousand beeues,
ଛତିଶ ହଜାର ଗୋରୁ,
45 And thirtie thousand asses, and fiue hudreth,
ତିରିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ
46 And sixteene thousande persons)
ଓ ଷୋଳ ସହସ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ।
47 Moses, I say, tooke of the halfe that perteined vnto the children of Israel, one taken out of fiftie, both of the persons, and of the cattell, and gaue them vnto the Leuites, which haue the charge of the Tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କର ଲଭ୍ୟ ସେହି ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧାଂଶରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପଚାଶ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଲେଖାଏଁ ନେଇ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆବାସର ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ-ରକ୍ଷକ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ।
48 Then the captaines which were ouer thousandes of the hoste, the captaines ouer the thousandes, and the captaines ouer the hundreds came vnto Moses:
ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ସୈନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱକାରୀଗଣ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସହସ୍ରପତି ଓ ଶତପତିମାନେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ,
49 And saide to Moses, Thy seruants haue taken the summe of the men of warre which are vnder our authoritie, and there lacketh not one man of vs.
ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହି ଦାସମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତଗତ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ନେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ହିଁ ଊଣା ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।
50 We haue therefore brought a present vnto the Lord, what euery man found of iewels of golde, bracelets, and cheines, rings, eare ringes, and ornaments of the legges, to make an atonement for our soules before the Lord.
ଏହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତି ଜଣ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ-ଅଳଙ୍କାର, ନୂପୁର ଓ ବଳା, ଅଙ୍ଗୁରୀୟକ, କୁଣ୍ଡଳ ଓ ହାର, ଏହି ଯେସବୁ ପାଇଅଛୁ, ତହିଁରୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପହାର ଆଣିଅଛୁ।”
51 And Moses and Eleazar the Priest tooke the golde of them, and all wrought iewels,
ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଓ ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସେହି ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଶିଳ୍ପିତ ଅଳଙ୍କାର ନେଲେ।
52 And all the golde of the offring that they offered vp to the Lord (of the captaines ouer thousands and hundreds) was sixteene thousande seuen hundreth and fiftie shekels,
ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସହସ୍ରପତି ଓ ଶତପତିମାନେ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନୀୟ ଉପହାର ରୂପେ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ, ସେସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଷୋହଳ ହଜାର ସାତ ଶହ ପଚାଶ ଶେକଲ ପରିମିତ ଥିଲା।
53 (For the men of warre had spoyled, euery man for him selfe)
କାରଣ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ନେଇଥିଲେ।
54 And Moses and Eleazar the Priest tooke the golde of the captaines ouer the thousandes, and ouer the hundreds, and brought it into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, for a memoriall of the children of Israel before the Lord.
ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା, ଇଲୀୟାସର ଯାଜକ ସହସ୍ରପତି ଓ ଶତପତିମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସେହି ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସ୍ମରଣାର୍ଥକ ଚିହ୍ନ ରୂପେ ତାହା ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁରେ ରଖିଲେ।
