Numbers 30
1 Moses also spake vnto the heads of ye tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded,
Zatim reče Mojsije glavarima plemena Izraelovih: “Ovo je Jahve naredio.
2 Whosoeuer voweth a vow vnto the Lord, or sweareth an othe to binde him selfe by a bonde, he shall not breake his promise, but shall do according to al that proceedeth out of his mouth.
Ako koji čovjek učini zavjet ili se uz zakletvu obveže da će se nečega odreći, neka ne krši svoje riječi; neka izvrši sve što iz njegovih usta izađe!
3 If a woman also vow a vow vnto the Lord, and binde her selfe by a bonde, being in her fathers house, in the time of her youth,
Ako koja žena učini Jahvi zavjet ili se obveže da će se nečega odreći dok je još mlada, u očevu domu,
4 And her father heare her vowe and bonde, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, and her father hold his peace concerning her, then all her vowes shall stande, and euery bonde, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, shall stand.
a otac joj sazna za zavjet i obećanje kojim se obvezala pa joj ništa ne rekne, tada su valjani svi njezini zavjeti i valjano je svako obećanje kojim se obvezala.
5 But if her father disallow her the same day that he heareth all her vowes and bondes, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, they shall not bee of value, and the Lord will forgiue her, because her father disallowed her.
Ali ako joj se otac usprotivi kad sazna, nikakav njezin zavjet ni njezino obećanje kojim se vezala ne vrijedi. Jahve će joj oprostiti jer joj se otac usprotivio.
6 And if she haue an husband when she voweth or pronounceth ought with her lips, wherewith she bindeth her selfe,
Ako se uda dok je pod svojim zavjetima ili pod obećanjem koje je nepromišljeno izišlo iz njezinih usta,
7 If her husband heard it, and holdeth his peace concerning her, the same day he heareth it, then her vowe shall stande, and her bondes wherewith she bindeth her selfe shall stand in effect.
pa njezin muž sazna i pošto je saznao ništa joj ne rekne, tada vrijede njezini zavjeti i vrijede obećanja kojima se obvezala.
8 But if her husband disallow her the same day that hee heareth it, then shall hee make her vowe which shee hath made, and that that shee hath pronounced with her lips, wherewith shee bound her selfe, of none effect: and the Lord will forgiue her.
No ako se njezin muž usprotivi kad o tom sazna, ukida se time njezin zavjet i obećanje što je nepromišljeno izišlo iz njezinih usta. I Jahve će joj oprostiti.
9 But euery vowe of a widowe, and of her that is diuorced (wherewith she hath bound her selfe) shall stand in effect with her.
A zavjet udovice ili žene otpuštene i sve obveze koje je na se preuzela vrijede za nju.
10 And if she vowed in her husbands house, or bound her selfe streightly with an othe,
Ako se zavjetuje ili se obveže zakletvom na obećanje dok je u kući svoga muža,
11 And her husband hath heard it, and helde his peace cocerning her, not disalowing her, then all her vowes shall stand, and euery bond, wherewith she bound her selfe, shall stand in effect.
pa njezin muž sazna i ništa joj ne rekne, ne usprotivi joj se, svaki je njezin zavjet valjan i valjano je svako obećanje kojim se obvezala.
12 But if her husband disanulled them, the same day that he heard them, nothing that proceeded out of her lippes concerning her vowes or concerning her bondes, shall stand in effect: for her husband hath disanulled them: and the Lord will forgiue her.
Ali ako ih njezin muž proglasi ništetnim kad o njima sazna, tada ništa što je izišlo iz njezinih usta, njezini zavjeti ili preuzete obveze neće vrijediti. Muž ih je njezin poništio, i Jahve će joj oprostiti.
13 So euery vowe, and euery othe or bonde, made to humble the soule, her husband may stablish it, or her husband may breake it.
Svaki zavjet i svaku zakletvu koja obvezuje ženu na neko mrtvenje njezin muž može uzdržati na snazi ili poništiti.
14 But if her husband holde his peace concerning her from day to day, then he stablisheth al her vowes and all her bondes which shee hath made: hee hath confirmed them because he held his peace concerning her the same day that hee hearde them.
Ako joj muž od dana do dana ništa ne rekne, time potvrđuje sve njezine zavjete i sva njezina obećanja kojima se obvezala; on ih je učinio valjanima ako ništa nije rekao kad je o njima čuo.
15 But if he breake them after that he hath heard them, then shall he beare her iniquitie.
Ali ako ih poništi kasnije, pošto je o njima već čuo, neka snosi njezinu krivnju.”
16 These are the ordinances which the Lord commanded Moses, betweene a man and his wife, and betweene the father and his daughter, being young in her fathers house.
To su uredbe koje je Jahve Mojsiju izdao za muža i njegovu ženu i za oca i njegovu kćer, koja, još mlada, živi u kući očevoj.
