Numbers 26
1 And so after the plague, the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest, saying,

2 Take the nomber of all the Congregation of the children of Israel from twentie yeere olde and aboue throughout their fathers houses, all that go forth to warre in Israel.
Nimm die Summa der ganzen Gemeine der Kinder Israel von zwanzig Jahren und drüber, nach ihrer Väter Häusern, alle, die ins Heer zu ziehen taugen in Israel.
3 So Moses and Eleazar the Priest spake vnto them in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
Und Mose redete mit ihnen samt Eleasar, dem Priester, in dem Gefilde der Moabiter, an dem Jordan gegen Jericho,
4 From twentie yeere olde and aboue ye shall nomber the people, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and the childre of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
die zwanzig Jahre alt waren und drüber, wie der HERR Mose geboten hatte und den Kindern Israel, die aus Ägpyten gezogen waren.
5 Reuben the first borne of Israel: the children of Reube were: Hanoch, of whom came the familie of the Hanochites, and of Pallu the familie of the Palluites:
Ruben, der Erstgeborne Israels. Die Kinder Rubens aber waren: Hanoch, von dem das Geschlecht der Hanochiter kommt; Pallu, von dem das Geschlecht der Palluiter kommt;
6 Of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Carmi, the familie of the Carmites.
Hezron, von dem das Geschlecht der Hezroniter kommt; Charmi, von dem das Geschlecht der Charmiter kommt.
7 These are the families of the Reubenites: and they were in nomber three and fourtie thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
Das sind die Geschlechter von Ruben, und ihre Zahl war dreiundvierzigtausend siebenhundertunddreißig.
8 And the sonnes of Pallu, Eliab:
Aber die Kinder Pallus waren Eliab;
9 And the sonnes of Eliab, Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram: this Dathan and Abiram were famous in the Congregation, and stroue against Moses and against Aaron in the assemblie of Korah, when they stroue against the Lord.
Und die Kinder Eliabs waren Nemuel und Dathan und Abiram. Das ist der Dathan und Abiram, die Vornehmlichen in der Gemeine, die sich wider Mose und Aaron auflehneten in der Rotte Korahs, da sie sich wider den HERRN auflehneten,
10 And the earth opened her mouth, and swalowed them vp with Korah, when the Congregation died, what time the fire consumed, two hundreth and fiftie men, who were for a signe.
und die Erde ihren Mund auftat und sie verschlang mit Korah, da die Rotte starb; da das Feuer zweihundertundfünfzig Männer fraß, und wurden ein Zeichen.
11 Notwithstanding, all the sonnes of Korah dyed not.
Aber die Kinder Korahs starben nicht.
12 And the children of Simeon after their families were: Nemuel, of whom came the familie of the Nemuelites: of Iamin, the familie of the Iaminites: of Iachin, the familie of the Iachinites:
Die Kinder Simeons in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Nemuel, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Nemueliter; Jamin, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Jaminiter; Jachin, daher das Geschlecht der Jachiniter kommt;
13 Of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the familie of the Shaulites.
Serah, daher das Geschlecht der Serahiter kommt; Saul, daher das Geschlecht der Sauliter kommt.
14 These are the families of the Simeonites: two and twentie thousand and two hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter von Simeon: zweiundzwanzigtausend und zweihundert.
15 The sonnes of Gad after their families were: Zephon, of whome came ye familie of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the familie of the Haggites: of Shuni, the familie of the Shunites:
Die Kinder Gads in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Ziphon, daher das Geschlecht der Ziphoniter kommt; Haggi, daher das Geschlecht der Haggiter kommt; Suni, daher das Geschlecht der Suniter kommt;
16 Of Ozni, the familie of the Oznites: of Eri, the familie of the Erites:
Osni, daher das Geschlecht der Osniter kommt; Eri, daher das Geschlecht der Eriter kommt;
17 Of Arod, the familie of the Arodites: of Areli, the familie of the Arelites.
Arod, daher das Geschlecht der Aroditer kommt; Ariel, daher das Geschlecht der Arieliter kommt.
18 These are the families of the sonnes of Gad, according to their nombers, fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter der Kinder Gads, an ihrer Zahl vierzigtausend und fünfhundert.
19 The sonnes of Iudah, Er and Onan: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
Die Kinder Judas: Ger und Onan, welche beide starben im Lande Kanaan.
20 So were the sonnes of Iudah after their families: of Shelah came the familie of ye Shelanites: of Pharez, the familie of the Pharzites, of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites.
Es waren aber die Kinder Judas in ihren Geschlechtern: Sela, daher das Geschlecht der Selaniter kommt; Perez, daher das Geschlecht der Pereziter kommt; Serah, daher das Geschlecht der Serahiter kommt.
21 And the sonnes of Pharez were: of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Hamul, the familie of the Hamulites.
Aber die Kinder Perez waren: Hezron, daher das Geschlecht der Hezroniter kommt; Hamul, daher das Geschlecht der Hamuliter kommt.
22 These are the families of Iudah, after their nombers, seuentie and sixe thousande and fiue hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter Judas, an ihrer Zahl sechsundsiebenzigtausend und fünfhundert.
23 The sonnes of Issachar, after their families were: Tola, of whom came the familie of the Tolaites: of Pua, the familie of the Punites:
Die Kinder Isaschars in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Thola, daher das Geschlecht der Tholaiter kommt; Phuva, daher das Geschlecht der Phuvaniter kommt;
24 Of Iashub the familie of the Iashubites: of Shimron, the familie of the Shimronites.
Jasub, daher das Geschlecht der Jasubiter kommt; Simron, daher das Geschlecht der Simroniter kommt.
25 These are the families of Issachar, after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand and three hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter Isaschars, an der Zahl vierundsechzigtausend und dreihundert.
26 The sonnes of Zebulun, after their families were: of Sered, the familie of the Sardites: of Elon, the familie of the Elonites: of Iahleel, the familie of the Iahleelites.
Die Kinder Sebulons in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Sered, daher das Geschlecht der Serediter kommt; Elon, daher das Geschlecht der Eloniter kommt; Jaheleel, daher das Geschlecht der Jaheleeliter kommt.
27 These are the families of the Zebulunites, after their nombers, three score thousande and fiue hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter Sebulons, an ihrer Zahl sechzigtausend und fünfhundert.
28 The sonnes of Ioseph, after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.
Die Kinder Josephs in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Manasse und Ephraim.
29 The sonnes of Manasseh were: of Machir, the familie of the Machirites: and Machir begate Gilead: of Gilead came the familie of the Gileadites.
Die Kinder aber Manasses waren: Machir, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Machiriter; Machir zeugete Gilead, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Gileaditer.
30 These are the sonnes of Gilead: of Iezer, the familie of the Iezerites: of Helek, the familie of the Helekites.
Dies sind aber die Kinder Gileads: Hieser, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Hieseriter; Helek, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Helekiter;
31 Of Asriel, the familie of the Asrielites: of Shechem, the familie of Shichmites.
Asriel, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Asrieliter; Sichem, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Sichemiter;
32 Of Shemida, the familie of the Shemidaites: of Hepher, the familie of the Hepherites.
Smida, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Smidaiter; Hepher, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Hepheriter.
33 And Zelophehad the sonne of Hepher had no sonnes, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.
Zelaphehad aber war Hephers Sohn und hatte keine Söhne, sondern Töchter; die hießen Mahela, Noa, Hagla, Milka und Thirza.
34 These are the families of Manasseh, and the nomber of them, two and fiftie thousand and seuen hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter Manasses, an ihrer Zahl zweiundfünfzigtausend und siebenhundert.
35 These are the sonnes of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah came the familie of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the familie of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the familie of the Tahanites.
Die Kinder Ephraims in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Suthelah, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Suthelahiter; Becher, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Becheriter; Thahan, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Thahaniter.
36 And these are the sonnes of Shuthelah: of Eran the familie of the Eranites.
Die Kinder aber Suthelahs waren: Eran, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Eraniter.
37 These are the families of the sonnes of Ephraim after their nombers, two and thirtie thousand and fiue hundreth. these are the sonnes of Ioseph after their families.
Das sind die Geschlechter der Kinder Ephraims, an ihrer Zahl zweiunddreißigtausend und fünfhundert. Das sind die Kinder Josephs in ihren Geschlechtern.
38 These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families: of Bela came the familie of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the familie of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the familie of the Ahiramites:
Die Kinder Benjamins in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Bela, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Belaiter; Asbel, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Asbeliter; Ahiram, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Ahiramiter;
39 Of Shupham, the familie of the Suphamites: of Hupham, the familie of the Huphamites.
Supham, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Suphamiter; Hupham, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Huphamiter.
40 And the sonnes of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard came the familie of the Ardites, of Naaman, the familie of the Naamites.
Die Kinder aber Belas waren: Ard und Naeman, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Arditer und Naemaniter.
41 These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families, and their nombers, fiue and fourtie thousand and sixe hundreth.
Das sind die Kinder Benjamins in ihren Geschlechtern, an der Zahl fünfundvierzigtausend und sechshundert.
42 These are the sonnes of Dan after their families: of Shuham came the familie of the Shuhamites: these are the families of Dan after their housholdes.
Die Kinder Dans in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Suham, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Suhamiter.
43 All the families of the Shuhamites were after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand, and foure hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter Dans in ihren Geschlechtern, und waren allesamt an der Zahl vierundsechzigtausend und vierhundert.
44 The sonnes of Asher after their families were: of Iimnah, the familie of the Iimnites: of Isui, the familie of the Isuites: of Beriah, the familie of the Berijtes.
Die Kinder Assers in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Jemna, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Jemniter; Jeswi, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Jeswiter; Bria, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Briiter.
45 The sonnes of Beriah were, of Heber the familie of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the familie of the Malchielites.
Aber die Kinder Brias waren: Heber, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Hebriter; Melchiel, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Melchieliter.
46 And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.
Und die Tochter Assers hieß Sara.
47 These are the families of the sonnes of Asher after their nombers, three and fifty thousand and foure hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter der Kinder Assers, an ihrer Zahl dreiundfünfzigtausend und vierhundert.
48 The sonnes of Naphtali, after their families were: of Iahzeel, the families of the Iahzeelites: of Guni, the familie of the Gunites.
Die Kinder Naphthalis in ihren Geschlechtern waren: Jaheziel, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Jahezieliter; Guni, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Guniter;
49 Of Iezer, the familie of the Izrites: of Shillem, the familie of the Shillemites.
Jezer, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Jezeriter; Sillem, daher kommt das Geschlecht der Sillemiter.
50 These are the families of Naphtali according to their housholdes, and their nomber, fiue and fourtie thousande and foure hundreth.
Das sind die Geschlechter von Naphthali, an ihrer Zahl fünfundvierzigtausend und vierhundert.
51 These are the nombers of the children of Israel: sixe hundreth and one thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
Das ist die Summa der Kinder Israel: sechsmal hunderttausend, eintausend siebenhundertunddreißig.
52 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
53 Vnto these the land shalbe deuided for an inheritance, according to the nomber of names.
Diesen sollst du das Land austeilen zum Erbe nach der Zahl der Namen.
54 To many thou shalt giue the more inheritance, and to fewe thou shalt giue lesse inheritance: to euery one according to his nomber shalbe giuen his inheritance.
Vielen sollst du viel zum Erbe geben und wenigen wenig; jeglichen soll man geben nach ihrer Zahl.
55 Notwithstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherite:
Doch soll man das Land durchs Los teilen; nach den Namen der Stämme ihrer Väter sollen sie Erbe nehmen.
56 According to the lot shall the possession thereof be deuided betweene many and fewe.
Denn nach dem Los sollst du ihr Erbe austeilen zwischen den vielen und wenigen.
57 These also are the nobers of ye Leuites, after their families: of Gershon came ye familie of the Gershonites: of Kohath, ye familie of the Kohathites: of Merari, the familie of the Merarites.
Und das ist die Summa der Leviten in ihren Geschlechtern: Gerson, daher das Geschlecht der Gersoniter; Kahath, daher das Geschlecht der Kahathiter; Merari, daher das Geschlecht der Merariter.
58 These are the families of Leui, the familie of the Libnites: the familie of the Hebronites: the familie of the Mahlites: the familie of the Mushites: the familie of the Korhites: and Kohath begate Amram.
Dies sind die Geschlechter Levis: Das Geschlecht der Libniter, das Geschlecht der Hebroniter, das Geschlecht der Maheliter, das Geschlecht der Musiter, das Geschlecht der Korahiter. Kahath zeugete Amram.
59 And Amrams wife was called Iochebed the daughter of Leui, which was borne vnto Leui in Egypt: and she bare vnto Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
Und Amrams Weib hieß Jochebed, eine Tochter Levis, die ihm geboren ward in Ägypten; und sie gebar dem Amram Aaron und Mose und ihre Schwester Mirjam.
60 And vnto Aaron were borne Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Dem Aaron aber ward geboren Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
61 And Nadab and Abihu dyed, because they offred strange fire before the Lord.
Nadab aber und Abihu starben, da sie fremd Feuer opferten vor dem HERRN.
62 And their nombers were three and twentie thousand, all males from a moneth old and aboue: for they were not nombred among the children of Israel, because there was none inheritance giuen them among the children of Israel.
Und ihre Summa war dreiundzwanzigtausend, alle Männlein, von einem Monden an und drüber. Denn sie wurden nicht gezählet unter die Kinder Israel; denn man gab ihnen kein Erbe unter den Kindern Israel.
63 These are the nombers of Moses and Eleazar the Priest which nombred the children of Israel in the plaine of Moab, neere Iorden, towarde Iericho.
Das ist die Summa der Kinder Israel, die Mose und Eleasar, der Priester, zähleten im Gefilde der Moabiter, an dem Jordan gegen Jericho;
64 And among these there was not a man of them, whome Moses and Aaron the Priest nobred, when they tolde the children of Israel in the wildernes of Sinai.
unter welchen war keiner aus der Summa, da Mose und Aaron, der Priester, die Kinder Israel zähleten in der Wüste Sinai.
65 For the Lord said of them, They shall die in the wildernes: so there was not left a man of them, saue Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
Denn der HERR hatte ihnen gesagt, sie sollten des Todes sterben in der Wüste. Und blieb keiner übrig, ohne Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns,
