< Numbers 24 >
1 When Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to blesse Israel, then he went not, as certaine times before, to set diuinations, but set his face toward the wildernesse.
Idi nakita ni Balaam a naay-ayo ni Yaweh a mangbendision iti Israel, saanen a napan isuna a mangaramat iti pananggamod, a kas iti dadduma a tiempo. Kimmita ketdi isuna iti let-ang.
2 And Balaam lift vp his eyes, and looked vpon Israel, which dwelt according to their tribes, and the Spirit of God came vpon him.
Inngatona ti panagkitana ket nakitana dagiti nagkampo nga Israelita tunggal maysa iti bukodda a tribu, ket immay kenkuana ti Espiritu ti Dios.
3 And he vttered his parable, and sayd, Balaam the sonne of Beor hath sayde, and the man, whose eyes were shut vp, hath sayd,
Naawatna daytoy a padto ket kinunana, “Ni Balaam nga anak ni Beor ket agsao, ti tao a simumulagat.
4 He hath sayde, which heard the wordes of God, and sawe the vision of the Almightie, and falling in a traunce had his eyes opened:
Agsasao isuna ken dengdenggenna dagiti sasao ti Dios. Adda makitkitana a parmata manipud iti Mannakabalin-amin a pagrukbabanna kabayatan a simumulagat.
5 How goodly are thy tentes, O Iaakob, and thine habitations, O Israel!
Anian a nagpintas dagiti toldam, Jacob, ti lugar a pagnaedam, Israel!
6 As the valleis, are they stretched forth, as gardes by the riuers side, as the aloe trees, which the Lord hath planted, as the cedars beside the waters.
Kasla dagiti tantanap a nagwaras, kasla iti minuyongan iti igid ti karayan, kasla al-aloe nga immula ni Yahweh, kasla sedsedro iti igid ti kadandanuman.
7 The water droppeth out of his bucket, and his seede shalbe in many waters, and his king shall be hier then Agag, and his kingdome shall bee exalted.
Agluppiasto ti danum kadagiti timbada ken nasibugan a nasayaat ti bukelda. Nangatngatonto ti arida ngem ni Agag, ken mapadayawanto ti pagarianda.
8 God brought him out of Egypt: his strength shalbe as an vnicorne: he shall eate the nations his enemies, and bruise their bones, and shoote them through with his arrowes.
Iruar isuna ti Dios manipud Egipto. Addaan isuna iti pigsa a kasla atap a baka. Alun-onenna dagiti nasion a mangrangranget kenkuana. Tuktukolenna dagiti tultulangda. Panaenna ida.
9 He coucheth and lieth downe as a yong lion, and as a lion: who shall stirre him vp? blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
Kumleb isuna a kasla leon, kasla iti kabaian a leon. Siasino ti makaitured a mangsinga kenkuana? Mabendisionan koma amin a mangbendision kenkuana; mailunod koma amin a mangilunod kenkuana.”
10 Then Balak was very angry with Balaam, and smote his handes together: so Balak sayde vnto Balaam, I sent for thee to curse mine enemies, and beholde, thou hast blessed them nowe three times.
Narubroban ti unget ni Balak maibusor kenni Balaam, ket nangmesmes isuna iti ungetna. Kinuna ni Balak kenni Balaam, “Inayabanka tapno ilunodmo dagiti kabusorko, ngem adtoy, binendisionam ida iti namitlo.
11 Therefore nowe flee vnto thy place: I thought surely to promote thee vnto honour, but loe, the Lord hath kept thee backe from honour.
Isu a panawannakon ita ket agawidkan. Kinunak gunggonaanka iti dakkel, ngem saan nga impalubos ni Yahweh a makaalaka iti aniaman a gunggona.”
12 Then Balaam answered Balak, Tolde I not also thy messengers, which thou sentest vnto me, saying,
Ket simmungbat ni Balaam kenni Balak, “Imbagak kadagiti mensahero nga imbaonmo kaniak,
13 If Balak would giue me his house ful of siluer and gold, I can not passe the commandement of the Lord, to doe either good or bad of mine owne minde? what the Lord shall commaund, the same will I speake.
'Uray no inted kaniak ni Balak ti palasiona a napno iti pirak ken balitok, saanko a mabalin nga un-unaan ti sao ni Yahweh ken aniaman a dakes wenno naimbag, wenno aniaman a kayatko nga aramiden. Ti laeng ibagak ket ti ibagbaga ni Yahweh nga ibagak.' Saan kadi nga imbagak daytoy kadakuada?
14 And nowe behold, I goe vnto my people: come, I will aduertise thee what this people shall doe to thy folke in the later dayes.
Isu nga ita, adtoy, agsubliak kadagiti tattaok. Ngem ballaaganka nga umuna maipapan iti aramiden dagitoy a tattao kadagiti tattaom kadagiti masungad nga al-aldaw.”
15 And he vttered his parable, and sayd, Balaam the sonne of Beor hath sayde, and the man whose eyes were shut vp, hath sayd,
Rinugian ni Balaam daytoy a padto. Kinunana, “Agsasao ni Balaam nga anak ni Beor, ti tao a nakamulagat dagiti matana.
16 He hath said that heard the words of God, and hath the knowledge of the most High, and sawe the vision of the Almightie, and falling in a traunce had his eyes opened:
Daytoy ket padto ti maysa a tao a dumdumngeg kadagiti sasao manipud iti Dios, nga addaan pannakaammo manipud iti Kangangatoan, nga addaan kadagiti parmata manipud iti Mannakabalin-amin, nakapakleb a nakamulagat isuna iti sangoananna.
17 I shall see him, but not nowe: I shall behold him, but not neere: there shall come a starre of Iaakob, and a scepter shall rise of Israel, and shall smite the coastes of Moab, and destroy all the sonnes of Sheth.
Makitkitak isuna, ngem awan isuna ditoy ita. Makitkitak isuna, ngem awan isuna iti asideg. Tumaudto ti bituen manipud kenni Jacob, ken addanto setro a rumuar manipud iti Israel. Burakennanto dagiti mangidadaulo iti Moab ken dadaelennanto dagiti amin a kaputotan ni Set.
18 And Edom shalbe possessed, and Seir shall be a possession to their enemies: but Israel shall do valiantly.
Ket kukuanton ti Israel ti Edom, ken kukuadanto pay ti Seir, dagiti kabusor ti Israel a parmekento ti Israel babaen iti puersa.
19 He also that shall haue dominion shall bee of Iaakob, and shall destroy the remnant of the citie.
Agtaudto kenni Jacob ti maysa nga ari a mangituray ken dadaelennanto dagiti amin a nabati a sibibiag iti siudadda.”
20 And when he looked on Amalek, he vttered his parable, and sayd, Amalek was the first of the nations: but his latter ende shall come to destruction.
Kalpasanna, kimmita ni Balaam iti Amalec ket rinugianna ti padtona. Kinunana, “Ti Amalec idi ti maysa a kabibilgan kadagiti nasion ngem ti kamaudiananna ket pannakadadael.”
21 And he looked on the Kenites, and vttered his parable, and sayde, Strong is thy dwelling place, and put thy nest in the rocke.
Kalpasanna, kimmita ni Balaam kadagiti Kineo, ket rinugianna ti padtona. Kinunana, “Natibker ti lugar a pagnanaedanyo, ken adda kadagiti dadakkel a batbato ti umokyo.
22 Neuerthelesse, the Kenite shalbe spoyled vntill Asshur cary thee away captiue.
Nupay kasta, madadael ti Kineo, inton italawdakayo a kas balud dagiti Asirio.
23 Againe he vttered his parable, and sayd, Alas, who shall liue when God doeth this?
Ket rinugian ni Balaam ti maudi a padtona. Kinunana, “Asi kay pay! Siasino ti makalasat inton aramiden ti Dios daytoy?
24 The ships also shall come from the coastes of Chittim, and subdue Asshur, and shall subdue Eber, and he also shall come to destruction.
Umayto dagiti daong manipud iti baybay Kittim; rautendanto ti Asiria ken maparmekto ti Eber, ngem uray isuda ket aggibusdanto iti pannakadadael.”
25 Then Balaam rose vp, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
Kalpasanna, timmakder ni Balaam ket pimmanaw. Nagsubli isuna iti pagtaenganna, ken pimmanaw met ni Balak.
