Numbers 2
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse et à Aaron, disant:
2 Euery man of the children of Israel shall campe by his standerd, and vnder the ensigne of their fathers house: farre off about the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall they pitch.
Les enfants d’Israël, chacun selon ses bandes, ses étendards, ses drapeaux et les maisons de sa parenté, camperont autour du tabernacle d’alliance.
3 On the East side towarde the rising of the sunne, shall they of the standerd of the hoste of Iudah pitch according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminadab shalbe captaine of the sonnes of Iudah.
Juda plantera ses tentes vers l’orient selon les bandes de son armée, et le prince de ses enfants sera Nahasson, fils d’Aminadab;
4 And his hoste and the nomber of the were seuentie and foure thousande and sixe hundreth.
Et le nombre total des combattants de sa race, est de soixante-quatorze mille six cents.
5 Next vnto him shall they of the tribe of Issachar pitch, and Nethaneel the sonne of Zuar shalbe the captaine of the sonnes of Issachar:
Près de lui campèrent ceux de la tribu d’Issachar; leur prince fut Nathanael fils de Suar;
6 And his hoste, and the nomber thereof were foure and fiftie thousand, and foure hundreth.
Et le nombre total de ses combattants, de cinquante-quatre mille quatre cents.
7 Then the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the sonne of Helon, captaine ouer the sonnes of Zebulun:
Dans la tribu de Zabulon le prince fut Eliab, fils d’Hélon.
8 And his hoste, and the nomber thereof seuen and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth:
Toute l’armée des combattants de sa race fut de cinquante-sept mille quatre cents,
9 The whole nomber of the hoste of Iudah are an hundreth fourescore and sixe thousande, and foure hundreth according to their armies: they shall first set foorth.
Tous ceux qui ont été dénombrés dans le camp de Juda, furent cent quatre-vingt-six mille quatre cents; et ils sortiront les premiers selon leurs bandes.
10 On the South side shalbe ye standerd of the host of Reuben according to their armies, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Reuben shalbe Elizur the sonne of Shedeur.
Dans le camp des enfants de Ruben vers le côté méridional, le prince sera Eli sur, fils de Sédéur;
11 And his host, and the nomber thereof sixe and fourty thousand and fiue hundreth.
Et toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été dénombrés, quarante-six mille cinq cents.
12 And by him shall the tribe of Simeon pitch, and the captaiue ouer the sonnes of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the sonne of Zurishaddai:
Près de lui campèrent ceux de la tribu de Siméon; leur prince fut Salamiel, fils de Surisaddaï,
13 And his hoste, and the nomber of them, nine and fiftie thousand and three hundreth.
Et toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été dénombrés, cinquante-neuf mille trois cents.
14 And the tribe of Gad, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Gad shall be Eliasaph the sonne of Deuel:
Dans la tribu de Gad, le prince fut Eliasaph, fils de Duel;
15 And his host and the nomber of the were fiue and fourtye thousande, sixe hundreth and fiftie.
Et toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été dénombrés, quarante-cinq mille six cent cinquante.
16 All the nomber of the campe of Reuben were an hundreth and one and fiftie thousande, and foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and they shall set foorth in the seconde place.
Tous ceux qui ont été recensés dans le camp de Ruben furent cent cinquante-un mille quatre cent cinquante, selon leurs bandes; ils marcheront au second rang.
17 Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.
Alors le tabernacle de témoignage sera enlevé par les soins des Lévites et par leurs bandes: de la manière qu’il sera dressé, il sera aussi enlevé. Chacun marchera en sa place et en son rang.
18 The standerd of the campe of Ephraim shalbe toward the west according to their armies: and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Ephraim shall be Elishama the sonne of Ammihud:
Vers le côté occidental sera le camp des enfants d’Ephraïm; leur prince fut Elisama, fils d’Ammiud;
19 And his host and the nomber of the were fortie thousand and fiue hundreth.
Et toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été dénombrés, quarante mille cinq cents.
20 And by him shalbe the tribe of Manasseh, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Manasseh shalbe Gamliel the sonne of Pedahzur:
Et avec eux, la tribu des enfants de Manassé; leur prince fut Gamaliel, fils de Phadassur;
21 And his hoste and the nomber of them were two and thirtie thousand and two hundreth.
Et toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été dénombrés, trente-deux mille deux cents.
22 And the tribe of Beniamin, and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Beniamin shalbe Abidan the sonne of Gideoni:
Dans la tribu des fils de Benjamin, le prince fut Abidan, fils de Gédéon;
23 And his host, and the nomber of the were fiue and thirtie thousand and foure hundreth.
Et toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été recensés, trente-cinq mille quatre cents.
24 All the nomber of the campe of Ephraim were an hundreth and eight thousande and one hundreth according to their armies, and they shall go in the third place.
Tous ceux qui ont été dénombrés dans le camp d’Ephraïm, furent cent huit mille cent, selon leurs bandes; ils marcheront les troisièmes.
25 The standerd of the host of Dan shalbe toward the North according to their armies: and the captaine ouer the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the sonne of Ammishaddai:
Vers la partie de l’aquilon ont campé les fils de Dan; leur prince fut Ahiézer, fils d’Ammisaddaï;
26 And his host and the number of them were two and threescore thousand and seue hundreth.
Toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été dénombrés, soixante-deux mille sept cents.
27 And by him shall the tribe of Asher pitch, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Asher shalbe Pagiel the sonne of Ocran.
C’est près de Dan que plantèrent leurs tentes ceux de la tribu d’Aser; leur prince fut Phégiel, fils d’Ochran;
28 And his host and the nomber of them were one and fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
Toute l’armée de ses combattants qui ont été comptés, quarante-un mille cinq cents,
29 Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the captaine ouer the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the sonne of Enan:
Quant à la tribu des enfants de Nephthali, le prince fut Ahira, fils d’Enan;
30 And his host and the nomber of them were three and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth.
Toute l’armée de ses combattants, cinquante-trois mille quatre cents.
31 All the nomber of the host of Dan was an hundreth and seuen and fiftie thousand and sixe hundreth: they shall goe hinmost with their standerdes.
Tous ceux qui ont été dénombrés dans le camp de Dan, furent cent cinquante-sept mille six cents; et ils marcheront les derniers.
32 These are the summes of the childre of Israel by ye houses of their fathers, all the nomber of ye host, according to their armies, six hundreth and three thousand, fiue hundreth and fiftie.
Ce nombre des enfants d’Israël, selon les maisons de leur parenté et les bandes de leur armée divisée, était de six cent trois mille cinq cent cinquante.
33 But the Leuites were not nombred among the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Mais les Lévites n’ont pas été dénombrés parmi les enfants d’Israël; car ainsi l’avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses: so they pitched according to their standards, and so they iourneyed euery one with his families, according to the houses of their fathers.
Et les enfants d’Israël firent selon tout ce qu’avait commandé le Seigneur. Ils campèrent selon leurs bandes, et marchèrent selon les familles et les maisons de leurs pères.
