Numbers 19
1 And the Lord spake to Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
Och HERREN talade till Mose och Aron och sade:
2 This is the ordinance of the lawe, which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speake vnto the children of Israel that they bring thee a red kow without blemish, wherein is no spot, vpon the which neuer came yoke.
Detta är den lagstadga som HERREN har påbjudit: Säg till Israels barn att de skaffa fram till dig en röd, felfri ko, en som icke har något lyte, och som icke har burit något ok.
3 And ye shall giue her vnto Eleazar ye Priest, that hee may bring her without the hoste, and cause her to be slaine before his face.
Denna skolen I lämna åt prästen Eleasar; och man skall föra ut henne utanför lägret och slakta henne i hans åsyn.
4 Then shall Eleazar the Priest take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle it before the Tabernacle of the Congregation seuen times,
Och prästen Eleasar skall taga något av hennes blod på sitt finger, och stänka med hennes blod sju gånger mot framsidan av uppenbarelsetältet.
5 And cause the kow to be burnt in his sight: with her skinne, and her flesh, and her blood, and her doung shall he burne her.
Sedan skall man bränna upp kon inför hans ögon; hennes hud och kött och blod jämte hennes orenlighet skall man bränna upp.
6 Then shall the Priest take cedar wood, and hyssope and skarlet lace, and cast them in the mids of the fire where the kow burneth.
Och prästen skall taga cederträ, isop och rosenrött garn och kasta det i elden vari kon brännes upp.
7 Then shall the Priest wash his clothes, and he shall wash his flesh in water, and then come into the hoste, and the Priest shalbe vncleane vnto the euen.
Och prästen skall två sina kläder och bada sin kropp i vatten; därefter får han gå in i lägret. Dock skall prästen vara oren ända till aftonen.
8 Also he that burneth her, shall wash his clothes in water, and wash his flesh in water, and be vncleane vntill euen.
Också den som brände upp henne skall två sina kläder i vatten och bada sin kropp i vatten, och vara oren ända till aftonen.
9 And a man, that is cleane, shall take vp the ashes of the kow, and put them without the hoste in a cleane place: and it shalbe kept for the Congregation of the children of Israel for a sprinkling water: it is a sinne offring.
Och en man som är ren skall samla ihop askan efter kon och lägga den utanför lägret på en ren plats. Den skall förvaras åt Israels barns menighet, till stänkelsevatten. Det är ett syndoffer.
10 Therefore he that gathereth the ashes of the kow, shall wash his clothes, and remaine vncleane vntil euen: and it shalbe vnto the children of Israel, and vnto the stranger that dwelleth among them, a statute for euer.
Och mannen som samlade ihop askan efter kon skall två sina kläder och vara oren ända till aftonen. Detta skall vara en evärdlig stadga för Israels barn och för främlingen som bor ibland dem.
11 Hee that toucheth the dead body of any man, shalbe vncleane euen seuen dayes.
Den som kommer vid någon död, vid en människas lik, han skall vara oren i sju dagar.
12 Hee shall purifie himselfe therewith the third day, and the seuenth day he shall be cleane: but if he purifie not himselfe the thirde day, then the seuenth day he shall not be cleane.
Han skall rena sig härmed på tredje dagen och på sjunde dagen, så bliver han ren. Men om han icke renar sig på tredje dagen och på sjunde dagen, så bliver han icke ren.
13 Whosoeuer toucheth ye corps of any man that is dead, and purgeth not himselfe, defileth the Tabernacle of the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from Israel, because the sprinkling water was not sprinkled vpon him: he shall be vncleane, and his vncleannesse shall remaine still vpon him.
Var och en som kommer vid någon död, vid liket av en människa som har dött, och sedan icke renar sig, han orenar HERRENS tabernakel, och han skall utrotas ur Israel. Därför att stänkelsevatten icke har blivit stänkt på honom, skall han vara oren; orenhet låder alltjämt vid honom.
14 This is the law, Whe a man dieth in a tent, all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shalbe vncleane seuen dayes,
Detta är lagen: När en människa dör i ett tält, skall var och en som kommer in i tältet och var och en som redan är i tältet vara oren i sju dagar.
15 And all the vessels that bee open, which haue no couering fastened vpon them, shall be vncleane.
Och alla öppna kärl, alla som icke hava stått överbundna, skola vara orena.
16 Also whosoeuer toucheth one that is slaine with a sworde in the fielde, or a dead person, or a bone of a dead man, or a graue, shall be vncleane seuen dayes.
Och var och en som ute på marken kommer vid någon som har fallit för svärd eller på annat sätt träffats av döden, eller vid människoben eller vid en grav, han skall vara oren i sju dagar.
17 Therfore for an vncleane person they shall take of the burnt ashes of the sinne offring, and pure water shalbe put thereto in a vessel.
Och för att rena den som så har blivit oren skall man taga av askan efter det uppbrända syndoffret och gjuta friskt vatten därpå i ett kärl.
18 And a cleane person shall take hyssope and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it vpon the tent, and vpon all the vessels, and on the persons that were therein, and vpon him that touched ye bone, or the slayne, or the dead, or the graue.
Och en man som är ren skall taga isop och doppa i vattnet och stänka på tältet och på allt bohaget, och på de personer som hava varit därinne, och på honom som har kommit vid benen eller vid den fallne eller vid den som har dött på annat sätt, eller vid graven.
19 And the cleane person shall sprinkle vpon the vncleane the third day, and the seuenth day, and hee shall purifie him selfe the seuenth day, and wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shalbe cleane at euen.
Och mannen som är ren skall på tredje dagen och på sjunde dagen bestänka den som har blivit oren. När så på sjunde dagen hans rening är avslutad, skall han två sina kläder och bada sig i vatten, så bliver han ren om aftonen.
20 But the man that is vncleane and purifieth not himselfe, that person shalbe cut off from among the Congregation, because hee hath defiled the Sanctuarie of the Lord: and the sprinkling water hath not bene sprinkled vpon him: therefore shall he be vncleane.
Men om någon har blivit oren och sedan icke renar sig, skall han utrotas ur församlingen; ty han har orenat HERRENS helgedom; stänkelsevatten har icke blivit stänkt på honom, han är oren.
21 And it shalbe a perpetual lawe vnto them, that he that sprinkleth the sprinkling water, shall wash his clothes: also hee that toucheth the sprinkling water, shalbe vncleane vntill euen.
Och detta skall vara för dem en evärdlig stadga. Mannen som stänkte stänkelsevattnet skall två sina kläder; och om någon annan kommer vid stänkelsevattnet, skall han vara oren ända till aftonen.
22 And whatsoeuer the vncleane person toucheth, shall be vncleane: and the person that toucheth him, shalbe vncleane vntill the euen.
Och allt som den orene kommer vid skall vara orent, och den som kommer vid honom skall vara oren ända till aftonen.
