Numbers 17
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and take of euery one of them a rod, after the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the familie of their fathers, euen twelue rods: and thou shalt write euery mans name vpon his rod.
Rede zu den Söhnen Israels und nimm von ihnen je einen Stab für ein Vaterhaus von allen ihren Fürsten, nach dem Hause ihrer Väter, zwölf Stäbe. Jedes Mannes Namen sollst du auf seinen Stab schreiben.
3 And write Aarons name vpon the rod of Leui: for euery rodde shalbe for the head of the house of their fathers.
Und Aharons Namen sollst du auf den Stab Levis schreiben; denn ein Stab sei für das Haupt des Hauses ihrer Väter.
4 And thou shalt put them in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, before the Arke of the Testimonie, where I wil declare my selfe to you.
Und lege sie nieder im Versammlungszelt vor dem Zeugnis, wo Ich Mich bei euch einstelle.
5 And the mans rod, whome I chuse, shall blossome: and I will make cease from mee the grudgings of the children of Israel, which grudge against you.
Und es wird geschehen, daß der Stab des Mannes, den Ich erwähle, sprossen wird, und so werde Ich das Murren der Söhne Israels gegen Mich, das sie wider euch murren, sich legen lassen.
6 Then Moses spake vnto the children of Israel, and al their princes gaue him a rod, one rod for euery Prince, according to the houses of their fathers, euen twelue rods, and the rod of Aaron was among their roddes.
Und Mose redete zu den Söhnen Israels, und es gaben ihm alle ihre Fürsten je einen Stab auf einen Fürsten nach dem Hause ihrer Väter, zwölf Stäbe, und inmitten ihrer Stäbe war Aharons Stab.
7 And Moses layde the rods before the Lord in the Tabernacle of the Testimonie.
Und Mose legte die Stäbe vor Jehovah im Versammlungszelt nieder.
8 And when Moses on the morow went into the Tabernacle of the Testimonie, beholde, the rod of Aaron for the house of Leui was budded, and brought forth buddes, and brought forth blossoms, and bare ripe almondes.
Und es geschah, als Mose am morgenden Tag in das Zelt des Zeugnisses hineinkam, siehe, da hatte der Stab Aharons vom Hause Levi gesproßt und Knospen hervorgebracht, daß Blüten daran blühten, und Mandeln reiften.
9 Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord vnto all the children of Israel: and they looked vpon them, and tooke euery man his rodde.
Und Mose brachte alle Stäbe vom Angesicht Jehovahs heraus vor alle Söhne Israels, und sie sahen sie, und jeder Mann nahm seinen Stab.
10 After, the Lord said vnto Moses, Bring Aarons rod againe before the Testimonie to bee kept for a token to the rebellious children, and thou shalt cause their murmurings to cease from me, that they dye not.
Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Bringe den Stab Aharons zurück vor das Zeugnis zur Aufbewahrung als Zeichen für die Sühne der Widerspenstigkeit, daß ihr Murren von Mir alle werde und sie nicht sterben.
11 So Moses did as the Lord had commanded him: so did he.
Und Mose tat, wie Jehovah ihm geboten hatte.
12 And the children of Israel spake vnto Moses, saying, Behold, we are dead, we perish, we are all lost:
Also tat er. Und die Söhne Israels sprachen zu Mose und sagten: Siehe, wir verscheiden, wir sind verloren, wir alle sind verloren!
13 Whosoeuer commeth neere, or approcheth to the Tabernacle of the Lord, shall dye: shall we be consumed and dye?
Jeder, der sich nahet, der sich naht der Wohnung Jehovahs, stirbt. Sollen wir alle umkommen, daß wir verscheiden?
