Numbers 12
1 Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)
೧ಮೋಶೆ ಕೂಷ್ ದೇಶದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
2 And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.
೨ಅವರು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ? ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.
3 (But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)
೩ಮೋಶೆಯು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಬಹು ಸಾತ್ವಿಕನು.
4 And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.
೪ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೇಳಿ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯೂ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಆ ಮೂವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
5 Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭದೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಆರೋನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದನು. ಅವರು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದರು.
6 And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.
೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವೆನು, ಮತ್ತು ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು.
7 My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.
೭ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅಂಥವನಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
8 Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?
೮ನಾನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವನು. ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ?” ಎಂದನು.
9 Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.
೯ನಂತರ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.
10 Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.
೧೦ಆ ಮೇಘವು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು. ಪಕ್ಕನೆ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳಿಗೆ ತೊನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಚರ್ಮ ಹಿಮದಂತೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆರೋನನು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಗೆ ತೊನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡನು.
11 Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.
೧೧ಆಗ ಆರೋನನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಾವು ವಿವೇಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಡೆದು ದೋಷಿಗಳಾದೆವು. ಈ ದೋಷದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
12 Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.
೧೨ಅರ್ಧ ಮಾಂಸ ಕೊಳೆತುಹೋಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಶಿಶುವಿನಂತೆ ಈಕೆ ಆಗಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿದನು.
13 Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.
೧೩ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ದೇವಾ, ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟನು.
14 And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.
೧೪ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ಆಕೆಯ ತಂದೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗುಳಿದರೆ, ಆಕೆ ಏಳು ದಿನ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಮರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳಲ್ಲವೇ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಆಕೆ ಏಳು ದಿನ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರಲಿ, ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
15 So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.
೧೫ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
16 Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
೧೬ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಹಚೇರೋತಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
