Numbers 12
1 Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)
OR Maria ed Aaronne parlarono contro a Mosè, per cagion della moglie Cusita ch'egli avea presa; perciocchè egli avea presa una moglie Cusita.
2 And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.
E dissero: Ha veramente il Signore parlato sol per Mosè? non ha egli eziandio parlato per noi? E il Signore udì [queste parole].
3 (But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)
(Or quell'uomo Mosè [era] molto mansueto, più che [altro] uomo che [fosse] in su la terra.)
4 And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.
E il Signore disse in quello stante a Mosè, e ad Aaronne, e a Maria: Uscite tutti e tre, e venite al Tabernacolo della convenenza. Ed essi uscirono tutti e tre.
5 Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.
E il Signore scese nella colonna della nuvola, e si fermò all'entrata del Tabernacolo; e chiamò Aaronne e Maria. E amendue andarono là.
6 And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.
E [il Signore] disse: Ascoltate ora le mie parole: Se v'è fra voi alcun profeta, io, il Signore, mi do a conoscere a lui in visione, [o] parlo a lui in sogno.
7 My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.
[Ma] non [fo] così [inverso] il mio servitore Mosè, il quale [è] fedele in tutta la mia casa.
8 Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?
Io parlo a bocca a bocca con lui, e a veduta, e non con maniere oscure; ed egli vede la sembianza del Signore; perchè dunque non avete voi temuto di parlar contro al mio servitore, contro a Mosè?
9 Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.
E l'ira del Signore si accese contro a loro, ed egli se ne andò.
10 Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.
E la nuvola si partì d'in sul Tabernacolo; ed ecco, Maria [era] lebbrosa, [bianca] come neve; e Aaronne riguardò Maria; ed ecco, era lebbrosa.
11 Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.
E Aaronne disse a Mosè: Ahi! Signore mio; deh! non metterci peccato addosso; conciossiachè noi abbiamo follemente fatto, e abbiamo peccato.
12 Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.
Deh! non sia ella come un [parto] morto, la cui carne, quando egli esce del seno di sua madre, è già mezza consumata.
13 Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.
E Mosè gridò al Signore, dicendo: Deh! sanala ora, o Dio.
14 And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.
E il Signore disse a Mosè: Se suo padre le avesse sputato nel viso, non sarebb'ella tutta vergognosa per sette giorni? Sia rinchiusa fuor del campo sette giorni; poi sia raccolta.
15 So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.
Maria adunque fu rinchiusa fuor del campo sette giorni; e il popolo non si mosse, finchè Maria non fu raccolta.
16 Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
POI il popolo si partì di Haserot, e si accampò nel deserto di Paran.
