Nehemiah 7
1 Nowe when the wall was builded, and I had set vp the doores, and the porters, and the singers and the Leuites were appointed,
೧ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ನಾನು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದೆನು; ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರನ್ನೂ, ಗಾಯಕರನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
2 Then I commanded my brother Hanani and Hananiah the prince of the palace in Ierusalem (for he was doubtlesse a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many)
೨ಆನಂತರ ನನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಹನಾನಿಗೂ, ಬಹಳ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನೂ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನೂ, ಕೋಟೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೂ ಆದ ಹನನ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದೆನು.
3 And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
೩ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಬಿಸಿಲೇರುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಬಾರದು; ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾವಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮನೆಯ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾವಲಿರುವಂತೆ ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದೆನು.
4 Nowe the citie was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not buylded.
೪ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದ್ದರು. ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
5 And my God put into mine heart, and I gathered the princes, and the rulers, and the people, to count their genealogies: and I found a booke of the genealogie of them, which came vp at the first, and found written therein,
೫ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು, ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರನ್ನೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಜನಗಣತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಭೆಸೇರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಬಂದವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
6 These are the sonnes of the prouince that came vp from the captiuitie that was caried away (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caryed away) and they returned to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie.
೬ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವದೇಶವಾದ ಯೆಹೂದ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದರು.
7 They which came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nehum, Baanah. This is the nomber of the men of the people of Israel.
೭ಅವರು ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲ್, ಯೇಷೂವ, ನೆಹೆಮೀಯ. ಅಜರ್ಯ, ರಗಮ್ಯ, ನಹಮಾನೀ, ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ, ಬಿಲ್ಷಾನ್, ಮಿಸ್ಪೆರೆತ್, ಬಿಗ್ವೈ, ನೆಹೂಮ್, ಬಾಣ ಎಂಬ ನಾಯಕರೊಡನೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ:
8 The sonnes of Parosh, two thousande an hundreth seuentie and two.
೮ಪರೋಷಿನವರು - 2,172.
9 The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth seuentie and two.
೯ಶೆಫಟ್ಯನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - 372.
10 The sonnes of Arah, sixe hundreth fiftie and two.
೧೦ಆರಹನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - 652.
11 The sonnes of Pahath Moab of ye sonnes of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and eighteene.
೧೧ಪಹತ್ ಮೋವಾಬಿನವರಾದ ಯೇಷೂವ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - 2,818.
12 The sonnes of Elam, a thousand, two hundreth fiftie and foure.
೧೨ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - 1,254.
13 The sonnes of Zattu, eight hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
೧೩ಜತ್ತೂವಿನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - 845.
14 The sonnes of Zacchai, seuen hundreth and three score.

೫೭ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ - ಸೋಟೈ, ಸೋಫೆರೆತ್, ಪೆರೀದನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು,
58 The sonnes of Iaala, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
೫೮ಯಾಲ, ದರ್ಕೋನ್, ಗಿದ್ದೇಲ್ ಸಂತಾನದವರು,
59 The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth of Zebaim, the sonnes of Amon.
೫೯ಶೆಫಟ್ಯ, ಹಟ್ಟೀಲ್, ಪೋಕೆರೆತ್ ಹಚ್ಚೆಬಾಯೀಮ್, ಆಮೋನ್ ಸಂತಾನದವರು.
60 All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruantes were three hundreth, ninetie and two.
೬೦ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಸೇವಕರು ಒಟ್ಟು 392 ಮಂದಿ.
61 And these came vp from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shewe their fathers house, nor their seede, or if they were of Israel.
೬೧ತೇಲ್ಮೆಲಹ, ತೇಲ್ಹರ್ಷ, ಕೆರೂಬ್, ಆದ್ದೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇಮ್ಮೇರ್, ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದವರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ತಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾರದವರಾದ,
62 The sonnes of Delaiah: the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fourtie.
೬೨ದೆಲಾಯ, ಟೋಬೀಯ, ನೆಕೋದ ಇವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - 642.
63 And of the Priestes: the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Hakkoz, the sonnes of Barzillai, which tooke one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was named after their name.
೬೩ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ: ಹೋಬಾಯ, ಹಕ್ಕೋಚ್, ಬರ್ಜಿಲ್ಲೈ ಇವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು. ಬರ್ಜಿಲ್ಲೈ ಎಂಬುವನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ಯನಾದ ಬರ್ಜಿಲ್ಲೈಯ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
64 These sought their writing of the genealogies, but it was not founde: therefore they were put from the Priesthood.
೬೪ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಂಶಾವಳಿ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಅವು ಸಿಕ್ಕದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧರೆಂದು ಯಾಜಕೋದ್ಯೋಗದಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
65 And the Tirshatha sayd vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy, till there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
೬೫ಊರೀಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ತುಮ್ಮೀಮುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ದೈವನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲವನಾದ ಯಾಜಕನು ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಇವರು ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಭೋಜನ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
66 All the Congregation together was two and fourtie thousand, three hundreth and threescore,
೬೬ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ನಲ್ವತ್ತೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರದ ಮುನ್ನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತಾಗಿತ್ತು.
67 Besides their seruantes and their maydes, which were seuen thousand, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and they had two hundreth and fiue and fourtie singing men and singing women.
೬೭ಈ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಡದ ಅವರ ಸೇವಕ ಸೇವಕಿಯರು ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ಮುನ್ನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತೇಳು ಮಂದಿ. ಅವರ ಗಾಯಕರೂ ಗಾಯಕಿಯರೂ ಇನ್ನೂರ ನಲ್ವತ್ತೈದು ಮಂದಿ.
68 Their horses were seuen hundreth and sixe and thirtie, and their mules two hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
೬೮ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏಳು ನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತಾರು ಕುದುರೆಗಳೂ, ಇನ್ನೂರ ನಲ್ವತ್ತೈದು ಹೇಸರಗತ್ತೆಗಳೂ,
69 The camels foure hundreth and fiue and thirtie, and sixe thousande, seuen hundreth and twentie asses.
೬೯ನಾನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತೈದು ಒಂಟೆಗಳೂ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳುನೂರಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಕತ್ತೆಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
70 And certaine of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the worke. The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of golde, fiftie basins, fiue hundreth and thirtie Priests garments.
೭೦ಗೋತ್ರಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಕೆಲಸಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ತಿರ್ಷಾತಾ ಅನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಭಂಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಸಾವಿರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳು, ಐವತ್ತು ಬೋಗುಣಿಗಳು, ಐನೂರಮೂವತ್ತು ಯಾಜಕವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು.
71 And some of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousand drams of golde, and two thousande and two hundreth pieces of siluer.
೭೧ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲವು ಮಂದಿ ಗೋತ್ರಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ಭಂಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು - ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳು, ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷದ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ತೊಲಾ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ;
72 And the rest of the people gaue twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousande pieces of siluer, and three score and seuen Priestes garments.
೭೨ಉಳಿದ ಜನರು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳು, ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ತೊಲಾ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಅರುವತ್ತೇಳು ಯಾಜಕವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
73 And the Priestes, and Leuites, and the porters and the singers and the rest of the people and the Nethinims, and all Israel dwelt in their cities: and when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
೭೩ಹೀಗೆ ಯಾಜಕರು, ಲೇವಿಯರು, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರು, ಗಾಯಕರು, ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಜನರು ಸೇರಿದವರು, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸೇವಕರು ಅಂತೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡತೊಡಗಿದರು.
